But by 8:00 pm, it was full, with some groups of 4-6 people being quite loud, possibly due to the stress from the recent self-restraint period. I started with an order of 3 servings of dumplings, which had a crispy thin skin filled with the sweet and juicy flavor of plenty of cabbage. I always enjoy these dumplings and usually order 2 servings for myself. The braised pork belly was soft enough to cut with chopsticks and had a rich flavor, making it a dish that goes well with rice. The fried chicken was crunchy and came in 5 large pieces, slightly underseasoned but tasted better with a sprinkle of salt. The "nira-tama" dish had a fluffy egg wrapped around fragrant chives, providing a smooth texture and a slightly salty taste.

On my day off for lunch, I decided to avoid the crowds at Lalaport and went to this place a little further away. It's been a while since I've been to MinMin. The ceiling is high and the atmosphere is quite nice for a casual dining experience. The staff, although not very fluent in Japanese, were polite and attentive. I ordered the gyoza and fried rice set for about 900 yen. Surprisingly, it was served quickly, almost as if they had it prepared in advance. The gyoza was a bit small and had less filling than I remember. The fried rice had a traditional taste that was satisfying in its simplicity. The black fried rice was moist and had a rich flavor, just as I expected. The portion was generous, but I started to get a little tired of it towards the end, although it was still delicious. The dumplings were average.
