Located in the direction of Daimon from Hamamatsucho, there is Shotaen Shibadaimon branch, a branch of a long-established yakiniku restaurant with its main store in Machiya. Visited after a long time. The interior of the restaurant has quite a chic atmosphere. Starting with a glass of Premium Malt's, cheers. First, some kimchi and namul while waiting. Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare). The contrast between the egg yolk in the middle and the red is beautiful. Starting with thick-cut salted tongue for grilling. The thick and juicy tongue is simply delicious. Grilled liver. A perfect rectangular shape. When lightly grilled and eaten, the rich flavor of the liver fills the mouth. Let's go with salt for the Harami (skirt steak). This is also a thick cut. The first four dishes are like this. With the engine running smoothly, let's move on to the signature loin. The marbling is impressive. Highball is a must. It's time for some hormone dishes too. Mixed hormones with sauce. The strong seasoning makes you want to drink alcohol, it's inevitable. The ultimate favorite menu, grilled skirt steak. Grilled quickly and of course, dipped in raw egg. Oh, bliss. It's high in calories but who cares. Next is a highball with Yamazaki whiskey. Also, the center loin. This level of marbling is personally quite good. Getting older... Let's add Shibaura hormones. It's time for the finishing rice dish. The classic stone pot bibimbap. Enjoyed yakiniku to the fullest, following instincts. Shotaen, the quality is indeed high. Thank you for the meal.

Half and Half Beef + Pork for 1300 yen at a yakiniku lunch in Hamamatsucho. The popular choices are the yakiniku bowl and the Half and Half with roast beef bowl. The beef is tender with a sweet, well-marbled taste. The pork is flavorful with a good chew. The miso soup is rich and tasty. Overall, the quality is high.

It had been a while since my last visit. It was sudden, so I couldn't order a course. I ordered the famous grilled shabu-shabu and premium sirloin. The grilled shabu-shabu, quickly cooked and dipped in egg, was delicious as always. I felt like having some rice. It would be nice if they provided a little bit of rice to go with it. The sirloin was lean and had a good texture. It was also delicious. Maybe because I'm getting older, I felt a bit of indigestion after eating the fatty meat. The bill came out to around 12,000 yen per person. Next time, I think I'll definitely pre-order a course.

【Crowdedness】Moderate, no waiting time
【Taste】Fresh feeling. It's amazing to be able to eat this meat for 980 yen. Happy that there are various condiments. It goes well together.
【Atmosphere】Quiet atmosphere since there's no alcohol for lunch. I felt like the interior was well thought out. Want to come back at night.
【Service】Sharp and disciplined operation like a sports team.
【Cost Performance】980 yen for this quality is cheap. Next time, I want to try the yakiniku. I will come back at night!

Today, I suddenly decided to go out for drinks and looked for a restaurant in Hamamatsucho. Since it was just two men, we thought of either going for yakiniku at Shotaien or yakitori at Daisuke. We tried calling, but it was hard to get through even though it was a Monday. Finally, we got through to Shotaien. We asked if we could come now, and they said it was fine. Luckily, they had a nice table for two available. We felt a bit embarrassed as we thought we were supposed to sit side by side, but the staff kindly guided us to a spacious table facing each other. We started with draft beer and ordered dishes like tongue, skirt steak, harami, rib meat, and liver. Everything was delicious, especially the skirt steak with salt seasoning. I judge a yakiniku restaurant by the quality of the skirt steak, and this one was perfect - tender and no unpleasant smell. The liver, on the other hand, was a bit lacking in salt when seasoned with sesame oil. The staff, despite our initial impression, were efficient and provided detailed explanations. I regret my first impression. We ordered soup and dessert as well, but I forgot to take photos as I was enjoying the company of my like-minded friend. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I will definitely visit again.

Visited Seitaen with my coworkers. No matter how many times I come, I never get tired of it. Actually, we had yakiniku the day before (which was also important), but one of my juniors requested yakiniku, so we chose Seitaen. Even though we had yakiniku two days in a row, it's not a problem at this restaurant. Liver, Harami, and Upper Momo were all reserved in advance without fail. Lately, friends and juniors I've taken to Seitaen have been impressed by the delicious meat at this restaurant, and I feel joy in their delight. It's a special place that I want to visit over and over again. Thanks to that, our meals together have become incredibly enjoyable and memorable. Thank you for the wonderful meal. On the 29th, it was Meat Day so my wife and I met up after work and went to Seitaen for the first time in a while. We drove to Daimon, so we toasted with non-alcoholic drinks and ordered the famous rock meat, top tongue salt, top skirt, yukhoe, liver yakiniku, kuppak, and kimchi assortment. My wife couldn't eat much, so we left feeling full and satisfied. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking with not enough staff, drinks taking a while to arrive, and some orders being forgotten. I hope they improve their hospitality a bit. I felt like it wouldn't be suitable for company entertaining.

It's a versatile restaurant that can be used for various occasions! The staff were very professional and it was a pleasant experience! I can tell that they serve delicious meat even at night! I ordered a variety of dishes such as Namul platter, shrimp and quail egg tempura, salted Kalbi, thick-cut tongue, Tanshoien meatballs, prime rib, and salt-seared liver. This was my first time trying Kalbi as the first meat, and I wasn't a big fan of it recently, but the salted Kalbi here was delicious. I usually don't like liver and can't eat it at all, but I was able to eat two pieces here. The thick-cut tongue and Kalbi were amazing, and I am very satisfied when my favorite cuts are delicious.

Located in the Arakawa area with its main store, as well as branches in Shinbashi and Ginza, this restaurant is a powerhouse in the world of yakiniku. The main store, Shinbashi branch, Ginza branch, and Shibadaimon branch have all received the prestigious title of "Yakiniku Hyakumeiten" (Top 100 Yakiniku Restaurants) for multiple years in a row. The popularity is such that even on weekdays, seats are fully booked with reservations. Among their must-try dishes are the thick-cut tongue and harami (skirt steak). The high-quality meat truly lives up to their title as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants. Personally, I highly recommend trying the meat chunks as well! You can grill them to your preferred doneness and the staff will cut them for you. They also offer reasonably priced meat lunches, including the Third Generation Drooling Beef for ¥1200, Yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare) for ¥1200, assorted kimchi for ¥900, harami for ¥1850, seared liver for ¥990, thick-cut tongue for ¥2200, top-grade yakiniku for ¥2200, top sirloin for ¥1900, top mino (beef stomach) for ¥1000, Masayoshi-en tsukune (chicken meatballs) for ¥400, The Rook (grilled beef dish) for ¥1000, and assorted grilled vegetables.

I visited for lunch. I was planning to eat a beef bowl but ended up ordering curry when I saw it. The curry at the yakiniku restaurant was the standard type with large chunks of meat. It was delicious and tender. Cheese and cumin were served on the side, so I tried dipping them in. It was interesting to have just cumin on its own. Thank you for the meal. The lunch overall was quite cheap.

I ordered 5 dishes and spent less than 10,000 yen at this high cost-performance yakiniku restaurant! The raw tongue was soft and small in size, which made me happy. I don't mind if the harami doesn't have a lot of marbling, as I prefer lean harami. The medium rare is a must with rice. The yukkejang soup had just the right amount of spiciness and was the most satisfying part of today's meal. I wanted something spicy because it's summer.

Yakiniku don lunch. Visited right when they opened for lunch. It seemed like the regulars were ordering curry and other dishes. I was worried about the portion size being small based on reviews, but it was actually quite satisfying. It might be heavier than it looks. The meat was very delicious. It's affordable and close by, so there's a possibility of coming back again.

I went to "Shotaen Shibi Daimon" and had a delicious meal starting with tan salt, followed by chutoro, harami steak, and finishing with upper mino and yukkejang kuppah. All the meats were delicious! There seem to be other branches as well, so I would like to go again.

I was surprised by the volume of food here. The premium sirloin is excellent. The hormone is also fresh and delicious, and I could eat rice multiple times. The service was not bad, and the restaurant was relatively clean. Next time, I plan to challenge myself with different types of meat. Be careful as the serving size is large.

It's a popular restaurant, but there were some negative reviews about the beef bowl. I decided to go anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived around 1 pm and was seated at the counter. I ordered the beef bowl without hesitation. It was delicious! The meat was tender and the green onions were crunchy. It was a bit small if you're a big eater, but it was perfect for me. Just a heads up, they only accept cash for lunch. Overall, it was a tasty meal. Thank you. It's even better with an egg on top!

The atmosphere of the slightly upscale, casual yakiniku restaurant was great, and the meat was very delicious - every dish we tried was tasty. The staff were all foreigners so there were times when we didn't understand what they were saying, but they were quick to assist us so it was fine. The bibim noodles were particularly delicious!

First visit to Shotaien. The medium rare sirloin was incredibly delicious in both flavor and portion, of a quality that I haven't encountered in other restaurants. While there are various other meat dishes on the menu, the sirloin is highly recommended. Most of the staff are young part-time workers who may not fully understand the menu, but it's not a problem. I would definitely visit again when I crave sirloin.
