On October 23, 2019, we had a company gathering at the private room and robatayaki restaurant Koiya Marunouchi Oazo store. It was a team-building event, I guess. The restaurant is located within a 10-minute walk from our office, although we got a bit lost in the neighboring Maruzen store (it's a secret). It's a great place for izakaya dining with a variety of menu options, which is convenient when there are foreigners in the group. However, it can be a bit challenging with set courses. We were a large group of about 20 people, so even though we were in a private room, it felt quite spacious. I couldn't really see how my colleagues were doing as I was surrounded by people from other teams (laughs). The meal started with a delicate dish of marinated eggplant with herring. Next, we had a hot pot with sea bream bones, where we enjoyed the sea bream meat shabu-shabu style. It was quite delicious, but I wonder if the second course was necessary (laughs). We also had sashimi, beef and large shiitake mushrooms grilled in magnolia leaves, a soup with matsutake mushrooms and duck meatballs, and a dish of grilled red snapper and crab with chrysanthemum greens. After that, we had rice and dessert. We started with beer and ended with sake, including Dassai in the all-you-can-drink course. It's a great place for company parties.

I went for lunch and had the Hanawarai Gozen. It included a sashimi assortment, a bento box with four different dishes, shirasu and pickled vegetables rice, and miso soup. Everything was delicious, but the tempura was the standout - super crispy and tasty! It was served with salt seasoning instead of dipping sauce, which kept it crispy. I also ordered a beer, and was surprised to receive a big jug of Sapporo draft beer. It was a hot day, so it was very refreshing. We ordered dishes a la carte, but the restaurant's specialty is grilled dishes, which we highly recommend. - "Today's assorted sashimi" (you can order per person, but you need to order for the number of people as they serve it on small plates) - Unfortunately, we couldn't have the "rolled omelette" as they were running out of eggs. - The "grilled vegetable assortment" is a must-try. - The "kamaage shirasu daikon salad" had crispy daikon that paired well with the whitebait. Everything was delicious. As we were drinking alcohol, the bill was quite high, but I believe it would be more reasonable if you opt for a course menu. This restaurant is a good choice depending on the situation, especially because of the private rooms available.

This is a review for company drinking parties. It is located on the 3rd floor of Shin Marunouchi Building, right in front of Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit, just like OAZO. The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. The beer served for all-you-can-drink is Sapporo Lager Red Star in bottles. They also offer shochu, sake, highballs, sours, and various wines, so the drink selection is satisfying. It can get a bit crowded with a large group, but there are private rooms with sunken kotatsu tables, making it a convenient choice for salarymen working in the Marunouchi and Otemachi area.

It is perfect for welcome and farewell parties. I chose the course for 6,500 yen per person. There were 9 dishes in total, very satisfying. The photo is of the sashimi assortment that came out first. It would be great if it also included draft beer. The white fish tempura with tea pickles at the end was very delicious. Also, I think the service was polite and good.

The taste was average, not remarkable, which could be good for keeping the conversation lively. The all-you-can-drink was for 2 hours, and despite not being very crowded, we were rushed to leave the restaurant when the time was up, leaving a somewhat mechanical and unwelcoming impression. The interior is quite spacious, but the raised seating area I was directed to had narrow spacing between the wall and the seats, making it hard to get out once seated in the back. I think the restaurant has issues that are left unaddressed on a physical level. The food is a course priced at 7,000 yen including all-you-can-drink. It's an izakaya menu and I found it to be decently tasty. However, nothing outstanding. The only high point is that the alcoholic drinks are on the stronger side.

I went to this restaurant because the popular cafeteria on the same floor was crowded. They had oyster fry on the menu. It seems like they had been closed for a long time due to the pandemic, but now they are open. The restaurant has a private room-like setup with wide spacing between tables, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying about the people next to you. I ordered the oyster fry. The oysters were a bit small, but the fry was crispy and juicy. It was my first oyster fry of the year, and it was delicious. I also got a coffee for free since I visited after 1 pm. The yakitori, on the other hand, had a great combination of sauce and chicken, making the rice very enjoyable. Additionally, there was spinach (?) and minced chicken under the yakitori, which was a nice touch to keep the flavors interesting. The coffee after the meal was also delicious, allowing me to relax and prepare for the afternoon work.

I thought it would be a good course for gatherings with friends, light entertainment, etc. The location is Marunouchi, which gives off a somewhat intimidating vibe. However, there are quite reasonable dining options available. You can enjoy a meal with all-you-can-drink for ¥6000 including tax. The dishes are not extravagant, but enjoyable enough. The food is more like snacks that go well with drinks. Personally, I felt that the sashimi could have had a bit more volume. The drinks included in the all-you-can-drink menu were satisfactory, so I had no complaints. The last dish of ochazuke was delicious and left a lasting impression.

The rice bowl had large pieces of chicken breast, seasoned ground meat, green onions, boiled vegetables, and a soft-boiled egg, making it a luxurious dish. The chicken and green onions were also served hot. The balance of flavors and textures was well thought out. Adding some shichimi spice to taste is recommended. The chicken was not just a simple teriyaki flavor and lacked a charcoal-grilled taste, but the overall balance was excellent. Both dishes were reheated to be very hot, which may have slightly affected the flavor, but the presentation was beautiful.
