The clouds look like it might rain soon, so I decided to go to a restaurant where I can quickly go underground. That's why I chose Hanamaru Udon, which is also located underground. When I hear "Hanamaru," I think of the comedy duo Hakkata Hanamaru-Daikichi. I enjoyed my udon while listening to their comedy routines. Just like speeches and skirts, it's better when they're short. Okra grows quickly, while my pride is low but my uric acid and blood sugar levels are high. I have a fear of human health check-ups. Just like comedy and impressions, Hanamaru Udon is a sure bet.

The heat was killer today. I had to work early, but I'm feeling good for waking up early. I decided to get Hanamaru Udon for lunch. I ordered two pieces of eggplant tempura because I love it. And for the main dish, I got the salted pork and soft-boiled egg udon. The pork was like shabu-shabu meat with a delicious black pepper salt sauce. The eggplant tempura was tasty, the noodles were delicious, and the meat with salt sauce and black pepper was also delicious. However, it's hard to evaluate fast food service because it's mostly self-service.

I visited around 11:30 for lunch. There were 5-6 people waiting inside the restaurant, so I decided to choose tempura. I had chicken and chikuwa tempura, and cold udon with grated radish. I often go to Marugame, but it had been a while since I last went to Hanamaru. The udon at Hanamaru was a bit softer than usual, but the tempura was delicious. I enjoyed my meal today as well.

Today, I had a quick lunch in Nihonbashi where I was short on time. Nihonbashi area can be tough for lunch if you're late, haha. That's where Hanamaru Udon comes in handy. Today, I had Ontama Bukkake Udon with vegetable tempura and chicken tempura. It was reliably fast and delicious as always. Thank you for the meal.

Kake Udon for 270 yen, Maiko Tempura for 170 yen, and Karaage for 130 yen. With a coupon from the app, you can get 30 yen off the tempura. The udon has plenty of sesame seeds and a few tempura crumbs. The karaage is consistently delicious with a crispy coating that goes well with the udon. The Maiko Tempura was my first time trying it, but I highly recommend it! It's large and goes really well with the udon broth. Definitely give the Maiko Tempura a try!

I visited the Hanamaru Udon store located in Nihonbashi Eitai Street. The store is located on the basement floor of a building along Eitai Street, just a minute's walk from exit B7 of Nihonbashi Station. Hanamaru Udon is a self-service Sanuki udon restaurant under the Yoshinoya Group. It was my first time visiting this store. It was a Saturday afternoon around 1 pm, and about 60% of the seats were occupied. The store was spacious with both counter and table seating available. I tried the Kitsune Udon (medium size for 520 yen), Toriten (150 yen), and Ikaten (130 yen) on this day. The udon noodles were of average thickness, smooth with a slightly chewy texture. The noodles lacked a strong chewiness that I prefer. The wheat aroma and umami were also not very pronounced. The broth seemed to be made from anchovies and kombu, with a light and refreshing taste. The fried tofu was large and fluffy, cooked with a sweet flavor. The Toriten was crispy with a tender chicken breast inside, while the Ikaten had a crispy batter and tender squid with a hint of sweetness. The portion size of the udon was satisfying, and the tempura dishes were also good value for the price. Overall, I found the udon noodles slightly lacking in texture and flavor, but the delicious fried tofu, generous portions, and reasonable prices made the meal enjoyable. As the weather gets colder, I look forward to visiting another Hanamaru Udon store for a warm bowl of udon. Thank you for the meal.

On June 13th, I visited this restaurant for the first time. It is located underground. When you go down, you will follow 5-6 customers already seated, but the flow is fast. Being underground, this area has a high capacity despite the low customer spending. Most customers are solo diners, and surprisingly about 30% are office ladies from Nihonbashi. I ordered a kake soba with squid tempura, croquette, and inari sushi for 630 yen. I arrived right at 12:00 and sat down with my tray. I usually prefer tempura, but this time I decided to try squid tempura and croquette. The broth and noodles were excellent as expected. The squid tempura was a large piece with a good bite. The croquette was initially tasty on its own, but I ended up putting it in the bowl and letting it soak up the broth, making it even more delicious. By the time I left, there were about 15-20 customers in the restaurant, and a long line had formed up to the stairs. However, with the restaurant's efficient operation, even at the end of the line, you can sit down with your tray in less than 5 minutes. They are truly the people's champions. This year seems to be my year of umbrellas. I forgot two umbrellas on the train, and one broke. I bought an umbrella with many ribs, but I still needed a lightweight folding umbrella, so I purchased one that caught my eye at Maruzen. I bought the most expensive umbrella I have ever bought, determined not to lose it, but we'll see...

Today, I came to this restaurant intending to have a light dinner, but I regretted my lack of willpower. I thought, a little indulgence wouldn't hurt, so I ordered tempura, kakiage, and finally, beef and grated yam udon. Instead of dieting, I ended up getting even heavier. But it looked so delicious, after all.

After heading down the stairs from the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station onto Eitai-dori, you'll find a self-service Sanuki udon chain store. I underestimated the lunch situation in Nihonbashi, thinking there would only be a small line at the entrance, but the line inside the store was also long. Despite this, I decided to wait knowing that the turnover is fast. I received a coupon on a smartphone app for a free piece of tempura, so I chose the egg tempura for 120 yen. I got a small size udon for 130 yen and found a seat at a table. The egg tempura was delicious and added a nice touch to the usual plain udon. I was grateful for the coupon service.

Good morning. I am Private Tsuchinoko. I felt like eating udon, so I went to Hanamaru Udon in Nihonbashi. Today, I am having a solo lunch. They had a "Half-price Warm Tamago Bukkake Campaign" today, February 15th. So, I ordered the "Medium" size with "Warm" temperature. The total cost was 200 yen. What a great deal! The appearance is simple. When I took a bite, the udon was chewy with just the right amount of firmness. I'm not a fan of mixing everything from the start, so I mixed the tamago with the noodles when I had about half left. The yolk really enhances the flavor! I also added tempura flakes and ginger along the way and enjoyed it until the end. They seem to be having the half-price campaign again next month (March 15th), so I'd like to visit again. It was so delicious! I definitely want to come back (´∀`) Thank you to everyone who reads my reviews. I hope this somewhat messy article can be helpful for evaluating the food. Also, I post my reviews on "Tabelog." I use the "Tabelog Premium Service," which offers great coupons and makes searching for restaurants easier, so I recommend it. If anyone is interested, you can register through this link. *Please access from a smartphone. The end.

Recently, I've been eating at Marugame Seimen a lot, but since changing workplaces, I've ordered the cold shoyu udon and salted pork bowl set a few times. The udon tastes even better than before! The salted pork bowl is now heated to order instead of being kept warm in hot water like before, so the flavor is consistent and you can order with confidence.

No time, no money, but I want to fill my stomach. In such times, this place is recommended. Unbeatable cost performance considering the location. The reliable kake udon plus a good laugh, this is perfect. More than enough. Thank you for the meal!

Beef and Onsen Tamago Bukkake Udon (small) for 590 yen. The beef tastes just like the beef bowl from Yoshinoya! It makes sense since they have the same parent company. Hanamaru Udon serves large portions, so a small size is enough. I didn't know and ordered a medium once, and my stomach felt uncomfortable.

During lunchtime, the tempura dishes (including mixed tempura and vegetable tempura) are fast, inexpensive, and delicious, which is greatly appreciated by salarymen. The front desk gentleman is very diligent and kind. Thank you for the meal.

Good evening, this is Nekosan. After finishing work in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, I felt hungry so I had some Kake-Don. When you add tempura bits, they absorb the broth. Adding ginger makes the broth even more delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, the number of office workers coming in has decreased, but the customer count remains stable. It's fast, cheap, and delicious, so it's inevitable.

The area near Otemachi is expensive, so it's nice to have Hanamaru nearby where you can eat at a reasonable price. I added an egg and it was delicious. The tempura egg is really tasty!
