I stayed at the "Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome Italia-gai" using the "Tokyo Residents' Discount - More Tokyo" program. The breakfast at Mitsui Garden Hotel is themed as "Enjoyable Breakfast." It is served at the restaurant "La Marea" on the 1st floor of the hotel. The breakfast buffet costs 1650 yen for adults, 1210 yen for elementary school students, and 605 yen for infants. This time, it was included in the plan. As it is an Italian-themed hotel, the breakfast includes Italian dishes, but there are also Japanese options available. One thing I was looking forward to was making my own waffles! You place the batter, close the lid, wait for 2 minutes, and it's done. Although my waffle didn't turn out perfectly shaped, it still tasted delicious. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of options such as pizza, gnocchi, doria, bread, salad, sweets, yogurt, fruits, curry, soup, and miso soup. They even have flavored water, which was quite tasty. I enjoyed the waffles, margherita pizza, gnocchi, bolognese with eggplant, meat doria, and curry. The desserts were also delightful. Overall, the breakfast buffet had a good mix of Italian and Western dishes, with a touch of Japanese cuisine. I wished there were more Italian options, but considering it's a breakfast buffet, the variety was quite satisfying.
