I found out about this place through a review by Mairebi-san and I've been wanting to go for a while. When it came to deciding where to have lunch, my daughter on summer vacation said she wanted to eat fried food, so we came here. We arrived after the opening time at around 11:30. The first round of customers had already been seated, and the owner asked us, "It might be around 12:15 for the second round, is that okay?" We were fine with that from the beginning. We bought our meal tickets first (using a machine we had never seen before) and then went back to wait in line. There were chairs, a fan, drinks, and even parasols prepared for the waiting line, showing such a high level of hospitality. This impression continued inside the restaurant as well. When it was our turn, we were seated. The system was to use one table per person, with a basket for our belongings. The owner said, "I'll bring your beer right away, you can even drink it outside, actually." The husband working in the kitchen added, "You can drink it while waiting." This led to a conversation with other customers, creating a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The owner mentioned that the husband is from the neighboring Imazawa. Imazawa also seemed nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was just wonderful throughout our time there. And the food was delicious. We ordered a Heartland beer for 600 yen, which came in a bottle. This beer allowed us to drink it outside as well. After sweating a lot, the refreshing taste of Heartland was perfect. The thin glass used for the beer was also nice. We were served a pickled vegetable appetizer. The saltiness of the pickled Chinese cabbage was delightful. We ordered the Tenjogun chicken cutlet set for 2,280 yen. It included both breast and thigh meat. I usually prefer chicken with a bit more texture, so I was happy that it was made from Tenjogun chicken. The fluffy rice was delicious from the start. The miso soup that arrived with a wonderful aroma was also tasty, with large pieces of tofu. The main dish, the chicken cutlet, had a crispy coating that was visibly appealing. The flavor and juiciness of the thigh meat were excellent, as expected from Tenjogun chicken. The aroma and taste were just as satisfying. Moving on to the breast meat... it was so tender and moist. The coating was exceptionally delicious. It was not too thick, and there was no greasy feeling, making the chicken even tastier. The cabbage was cut into the perfect size, easy to eat, and perfectly drained. There was nothing to complain about. The pickled vegetable was brought to us again, and I thought to myself, "I will definitely come back." There were also several foreign customers, so the staff explained in English about the baskets for belongings. The staff were attentive, even checking the doneness of the dishes for other customers, showing exceptional service. They handled unreasonable orders with grace, such as children ordering dishes without rice or a group ordering only children's meals. I think they should specify that one set must be ordered per person. The husband and wife team created a warm and friendly atmosphere by observing the customers and engaging in pleasant conversation. The hospitality was outstanding. My daughter saw someone else order the "special sirloin" and said, "Oh no, we were supposed to share that!" So next time, we'll try the special sirloin. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
