Located in Uehara, facing Inokashira Street, the trendy cafe "UEHARA KITCHEN" was so delicious that I decided to visit again. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coffee and tea, as well as the seasonal vegetable salad lunch with coffee and toast. The lunch menu includes the colorful salad lunch with toast made by the popular bakery, Mammano, in Uehara. The atmosphere and taste were both excellent. The place was full, so I sat outside with a blanket and a heater, but they kindly moved me inside when a table became available.

There is a cafe I like to visit on my way to and from my friend's apartment nearby. Today, I had a delicious coffee float there. The ice cream was firm and the vanilla flavor was just right. The cafe smelled of coffee and was very relaxing. The wine cooler caught my eye, it was chilling the drinks perfectly. The light meals also looked very tasty.

As expected, weekdays are quiet and relaxing~ The round lamps hanging from the ceiling are cute. - Saba Sandwich (tax included 1760 yen) - Set drink - Coffee (tax included 330 yen) Refreshing salad with a tangy dressing. Carrot rapé with sweet raisins. Lots of cumin! The Saba sandwich is vibrant in color! Juicy eringi mushrooms♡ The refreshing marinated red onions are thick and sweet-sour and delicious! The sour cream is refreshing~ It also has a hint of truffle aroma! The mackerel is crispy and fragrant. The bread is soft and chewy♡

Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. I happened to pass by and couldn't help but stop in awe of its charming appearance. This cafe is located on the ground floor of a small building in Yoyogi-Uehara, with a two-story high ceiling that generously frames the blue sky. What a sense of openness! Another factor that makes this cafe cozy is the atmosphere created by the people there. From elderly individuals to couples and families with young children, a wide range of age groups are leisurely enjoying their cafe time. At the small counter seat by the window, a woman was sipping wine alone. It was cafe time starting from 3 o'clock, so I managed to order their signature mackerel sandwich. Mackerel Sandwich: 1,600 yen Coffee set: 300 yen (excluding tax) The marinated mushrooms in the sandwich had a deep flavor that made me want to savor it a bit more. The acidity of the pickled onions complemented the mackerel nicely. However, I felt that the bread was a bit undercooked, leaving me slightly unsatisfied. In my opinion, a slightly more crispy and fragrant crust on the bread would enhance the overall taste. With this pricing, I expect a commitment to perfection even in the bread baking process. If I have the chance, I would like to drop by after work and experience the evening atmosphere as well. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the presence of flies was concerning. Since they lay eggs in plant pots, I suggest taking measures such as sprinkling insecticides in the planters to address this issue.

Visited on a friend's birthday on a weekday night. The seating is limited but the high ceiling and the interior lighting are lovely, creating a night atmosphere that I really like. And everything I ate was a hit! One dish that left a lasting impression was the white liver bruschetta. It looks surprising and the taste is even more astonishing. I thought the chocolate would be sweet, but it turned out to be pleasantly bitter, with a sophisticated flavor. I'm not good with alcohol, so I didn't have a drink, but after having wine for the first time in a while, I started feeling a bit unwell. A female staff member quickly brought me a blanket to rest comfortably. Good customer service can really change the impression of a restaurant. I'd like to see the lunchtime atmosphere and try their lunch menu next time in Uehara.

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday morning at 9 am during a long weekend. Although I thought they opened at 8 am, their Instagram stated they opened at 9 am, so I arrived at that time. There were only two groups of customers, including myself. I had a hard time choosing from the various breakfast options, but I ended up ordering nut butter toast and coffee. The portion was generous and very delicious, but I found the prices to be a bit high. The spacious interior with high ceilings made for a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, so I would consider coming back to this place again.

We made a reservation at 6:00 pm, and perhaps because it was during Golden Week, there were only two groups including us. The restaurant was calm, and as it got a little darker, they placed candles on the table. The atmosphere was lovely and perfect for a mature date! The variety of wines was extensive, and the staff kindly explained them if asked. The food also matched well with the wine. We didn't have a heavy main course, but we were very satisfied with the three dishes in the photo! I believe it was beef tataki carpaccio and mackerel potato salad. I would love to go back again.

Visited for lunch for the third time. This restaurant makes your holiday feel luxurious. The high ceiling creates a pleasant atmosphere. It feels like stumbling upon a gem of a restaurant in Europe! The pork sandwich I had was delicious as always. The complex flavors make it impossible to replicate at home, my wife and I always talk about it.

Uehara Kitchen in Yoyogi-Uehara. Located about a 5-minute walk from the station along Inokashira Street, this is a cozy café restaurant in a house. I had the squid ragu pasta for lunch on this day. The vegetables used are from a contract farm in Saitama, and the noodles are also carefully selected. The sauce is tomato-based with vegetables and simmered squid. The sauce is spicy and slightly tangy, creating a delicious harmony. The sandwiches and desserts on the menu also look delicious, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

You can enjoy coffee selected by the Japan Barista Champion at this stylish cafe, where the Basque cheesecake is delicious. The menu offers a variety of options, making it a great choice for a meal. I tried the Hojicha Basque cheesecake for 890 yen and a cafe latte for 600 yen. The cafe has a spacious and stylish atmosphere, with both table and counter seating available. The decorations and displays are very cute. The Hojicha Basque cheesecake is made with plenty of Kyoto-grown hojicha, resulting in a fragrant and smooth texture that is not too powdery or runny. The accompanying whipped cream complements the richness of the cheesecake well. The cafe latte, made with coffee selected by the Japan Barista Champion, was mild and easy to drink. The cafe also offers a lunch menu with sandwiches, pasta, and gratin. Overall, it's a wonderful cafe in Yoyogi-Uehara, although the prices are on the higher side.

I have been coming to the Yoyogi area a lot recently. I searched around and found this cafe, so I decided to visit for the first time. The interior is bright and the atmosphere is nice. There is also outdoor seating with heaters, which is great.⠀ - Grilled Mackerel Sandwich: A sandwich with grilled mackerel, red onion pickles, and vegetables. I asked to share and they cut it in half, which was nice.⠀ - Fuji Chicken Tomato Sauce Pasta: Pasta with a tomato sauce spiced with pasta spices, using pappardelle pasta. It has a wide ribbon shape, providing a satisfying bite.⠀ - Set Coffee: The coffee is drip brewed, even though the price is low, and it comes in a large cup, which is nice.

Visited a restaurant in Yoyogi-Uehara that I had been curious about. The atmosphere, staff, menu, and dishes were all wonderful. I had the mackerel sandwich with iced coffee and salad. The bread they usually use is from Shiomimi in Minami-Shinjuku, but since Shiomimi is on summer vacation in August, they are using bread from Mammano near Yoyogi-Uehara station this month. I love Mammano's bread, so I was happy about that. The mackerel was a large fillet served with onion pickles, mushrooms, and almond butter. Delicious! The iced coffee had a slightly acidic taste. The mackerel sandwich and overall experience were great. The interior decorations were also cute. I would love to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at the restaurant around noon after 12 PM. Both the indoor and terrace seats were available. Since the weather was nice, I chose to sit on the terrace. The lunch menu offers a choice of 2 pasta dishes, 2 sandwiches, or gratin. I ordered the anchovy and greens aglio e olio pasta with a side of iced tea. The pasta comes with a side salad. The combination of plenty of anchovies with the saltiness of garlic sautéed greens in the aglio e olio pasta was excellent. The pasta is fresh and slightly thick and curly, similar to Chinese noodles, making it satisfying. The sauce coats the curly pasta well. At 1600 yen for lunch, it may be a bit pricey, but if you're looking for a stylish and delicious lunch, it's perfect for those who want to indulge a little on their day off.

I visited this restaurant when I went to Yoyogi-Uehara. The inside of the shop was moderately crowded, and it became full later. We were there for a late lunch, and there were also some people who had already had lunch elsewhere and were using the cafe. The cakes and baked goods looked delicious, but on this day, I was curious about the mackerel sandwich and my husband chose the gratin. The mackerel sandwich was 1800 yen, which was a bit higher than I expected, but it was surprisingly voluminous. It was filled with a whole mackerel from Koshida Shoten, with a rich and fragrant mackerel with plenty of fat sandwiched between Saltmi's bread. Marinated refreshing shimeji mushrooms, red onion pickles, and almond butter spread on the bread added richness and flavor. It was a luxurious sandwich, but because it was so voluminous, I wanted to have it cut and share it. The "Awakening of Aged Inca" and "Fuji Chicken Gratin" for 1900 yen looked small at first, but the seasoning was quite rich and there was a substantial volume when eaten. Macaroni, potatoes, and chicken ingredients are all coated in a rich sauce with plenty of cheese. This also comes with Saltmi's bread as a half-size toast and the same salad side dish. It's a bit of a walk from the station, so it's not easy to stop by casually, but there seem to be other sandwich menus and I was also interested in the baked goods and cake menus. It seems like a wonderful place where you can enjoy wine and à la carte dishes at night, so I would like to stop by if I'm nearby.

Pet-friendly stylish cafe ☕️ I had always been curious about this cafe where stylish people gather, so I decided to check it out. The atmosphere looked great from the outside, and the weather was nice, so I chose a small terrace seat. I tried the popular menu item called "Mackerel Sandwich" which caught my attention. I wasn't sure if mackerel and bread would go well together, but surprisingly, they did! It's a great place for a change of pace from work or for those who want to relax. Highly recommended!

I heard from a friend who lives nearby that this place is delicious. I was originally aiming for the mackerel sandwich, but after dining at Le Cabaret, we decided to go to Bolt for a delicious coffee. However, it was closed, so we ended up here. There were flowers blooming at the entrance, and inside, there were large tables, regular tables, and counter seats facing the window. We had the following: - Cafe Latte 660 yen It wasn't as strong as Streamer, but it had a nice richness and sweetness from the milk. My friend recommended that the coffee beans are from Horiguchi Coffee, and the carrot cake is recommended by Megan. The blackboard mentioned that they have changed the sandwich bread to Shimimi. It seemed like they have combined delicious items together. I will come back to try the mackerel sandwich.
