I ordered ribeye steak, tongue, heart, and fillet! The ribeye steak was really delicious, and it went really well with the special sauce! It was truly delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really nice, and I think it's a place I would want to visit again!

When the business trip was decided, I called to make a reservation. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a cool, lit-up sign, and I had high expectations! It was quite small, with 4 counter seats, 1 table, and 2 tatami seats. It was clear that it's difficult to make a reservation here. Maybe because it was a Monday, they didn't have beef tongue, but I ordered the recommended dishes one by one. I started with the ribeye steak, cooked rare, and it was absolutely delicious! The meat quality was so good that it was like drinking juice! After that, I tried the grilled shabu-shabu, sirloin, tripe, and special loin. Everything was delicious. Considering the quality, I think the cost performance is good. This is a restaurant I don't want to tell anyone about.

Fujimura, a very popular restaurant in Kyoto. I was taken there because I love meat and was able to make a reservation for a weekday night! The ribeye steak is served with garlic and green onions, and it was incredibly delicious with lots of marbling. What impressed me the most was the flavor of the tongue and liver. Seriously, it was the most delicious I've ever had. When you visit Kyoto, I highly recommend making a reservation and visiting this place. It was so delicious!!!! Thank you for the meal.

Yakiniku Hyakumeiten. It specializes in Omi beef, and the quality of the meat was indeed very good. Despite that, the prices are very reasonable. The drinks are also cheap. I wanted to visit various restaurants in Kyoto, so I only had a little bit here, but I definitely thought this place was a top-notch restaurant. I ordered Ichibo steak, grilled shabu-shabu, and kimchi. At first glance, the grilled shabu-shabu looked like it had a lot of marbling, and I thought, "Oh, fatty," but when I tried it, I was surprised by how not greasy it was and how delicious it tasted. With Ichibo, even with this rare cooking, I thought it could be enjoyed deliciously without an overwhelming amount of marbling like with Kyushu beef. The grilled shabu-shabu was even more delicious than the Ichibo. The kimchi had a generous amount and a strong spiciness. I wanted to eat it a lot with rice. The hospitality of the lady was also great, and I had a comfortable time. I thought I would like to visit here again. Recommended.

The meat was delicious, amazing. It was difficult to make a reservation at this place, but luckily I was able to secure one with a week's notice. I've been busy and tired lately, but eating the meat here really lifted my spirits. I don't know when I'll be able to come back again, so I made sure to fully enjoy it this time. This meat is incredible, isn't it!?

It was a long time since my last visit. I had a reservation at 7 o'clock and the restaurant was almost full. I started with a draft beer, kimchi, and namul. Then I ordered ichibo steak, premium tongue, and grilled beef shabu-shabu as recommended by the mother. I switched to red wine halfway through. I added liver and premium skirt meat twice. For the finale, I had the special prime rib. It was a very satisfying feast.

Fujimura is a popular yakiniku restaurant located a 5-7 minute walk from Omiya Station. The restaurant has a cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere and has been selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in 2018, 2020, and 2021. While the prices are on the higher side, the portions are generous, allowing you to enjoy plenty of meat with a small order. We ordered popular menu items such as Ichibo steak, premium loin, and napa cabbage kimchi. The signature Ichibo steak is seared on the outside and rare on the inside, maintaining a tender and juicy texture. It is delicious on its own, but even more flavorful when paired with ponzu sauce, green onions, and grated ginger. The premium loin, with beautiful marbling and rich flavor, was also a highlight of the meal. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a great yakiniku experience. Thank you for the meal!

"Fujimura" in Kyoto: Just 5 minutes by car from Kyoto Station, we went to the first yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto called "Fujimura" on a night when we couldn't digest the negiyaki we had earlier (lol). This yakiniku restaurant uses only Omi beef, and although the menu was honestly limited, the flavors were simple and refreshing. Each dish came with a large slice of lemon, and we could enjoy it with grated daikon and ponzu sauce, as well as a dipping sauce with dashi. We ended up eating a lot in the end (lol). The casual atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendly service from the obachan (older lady) were typical of Kansai, which was nice! Thank you for the meal~
- Ichibo steak (grated garlic, chopped green onions, sauce)
- Grilled shabu-shabu (grated daikon, ponzu sauce, yuzu)
- Top tongue (salt and pepper, lemon)
- Special loin (salt and pepper, lemon)
- Liver (salt and pepper)
- Top skirt meat (salt and pepper)
- Special ribs (sauce, dashi)

Menu Name 2: Assortment of daikon, cucumber, moyashi, and zenmai with a slightly strong acidity. 4 pieces of grilled ichibo, 2 pieces of shabu-shabu, 3 pieces of watery harami, 2 pieces of tongue, 2 pieces of kalbi, and 3 pieces of loin. The restaurant is run by a single mother, which results in delays in taking orders and serving meat. The rice was also dry. Despite paying a significant amount for the meal, I wish they could provide a better dining experience. The total bill for the items mentioned (each serving for one person), 2 servings of rice, and 3 cups of oolong tea was 12,800 yen.

There aren't many types of meat, but that makes it easy to order, and every type of meat is really delicious! Basically, all the meats are meant to be enjoyed as they are without needing rice. They are tender and each bite makes your cheeks almost melt along with the meat! Make sure to order the beef ribeye tataki!

The rib steak with garlic, the grilled shabu-shabu with grated daikon for a refreshing taste, and the roast with a light broth-based sauce are all delicious. This place may look like a regular yakiniku restaurant at first glance, but what sets it apart is the attention to detail in adjusting the flavors to match the type of meat. I realized that this is why it has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants. Just follow the landlady's advice when ordering, and you can't go wrong.

This is a yakiniku restaurant located between Hankyu Kawaramachi Station and Hankyu Omiya Station in Kyoto, where you can enjoy authentic Japanese-style meat dishes. The friendly and close customer service by the proprietress is enjoyable and not at all uncomfortable, showing her professionalism. The meat is incredibly tender, juicy, and delicious! In particular, the Ichibo steak is a must-try dish! It's a hidden gem of a restaurant, but reservations are essential!

This weekend, I stayed in Shiga and Kyoto. I went to a popular restaurant called Fujimura with some old friends. It is known for its traditional Japanese-style yakiniku. The restaurant is not very big, with a few counter seats and tables. We let the staff recommend dishes for us, and we tried the salted beef tongue and lightly seared shabu-shabu with ponzu sauce and grated daikon. These dishes were refreshing and delicious. We also tried some other recommended dishes, which were also quite popular. However, personally, I prefer yakiniku restaurants that offer unique marinades and marinated meats, as that is the appeal of eating out for me. If it's just ponzu sauce and grated daikon, I feel like I could enjoy that at home instead.

I was able to make a reservation on my nth attempt! Reservations are required at this popular restaurant, so my expectations were high. I ordered 3 draft beers, salted beef tongue, grilled shabu-shabu, premium loin, ichibo, and white cabbage kimchi. The friendly lady recommended the best cuts and eating order. Ichibo was a must-order item and it was tender and delicious. The grilled shabu-shabu was also tasty with just the right amount of fat. However, the beef tongue was a bit disappointing as it was chewy. The premium loin was delicious though. The kimchi was okay, but I had higher expectations. Overall, the meal cost around 4,000-5,000 yen per person. Thank you for the meal!

When you think of Kyoto, you think of yakiniku! So I went to this recommended restaurant by a friend. It's a place that serves Omi beef. The exterior looks like just a regular house, you wouldn't even notice it without a curtain. You can choose from the menu yourself, but the motherly owner also recommends dishes, so I just went with her suggestions. The kimchi had a nice level of acidity, which I liked. The tataki of Ichibo was served rare and was delicious. The harami had a good balance of umami and fat. The grilled shabu-shabu with ponzu sauce was refreshing. The beef tongue was really tasty! The kalbi was just like kalbi. Unfortunately, I had the tongue last after the harami, so that was a bit disappointing. The bean sprout soup had a nice level of spiciness and the crunchy bean sprouts were delicious.

I want to eat delicious yakiniku. I think about it every 3 days. Yakiniku in the city is expensive. Even at highly-rated restaurants, the atmosphere and presentation are the main focus, and honestly, it can be just average. At places where the staff cook for you, I often feel frustrated because I wish I could have grilled it myself and enjoyed it more. But I had gotten used to it. I had become accustomed to it. I had eaten yakiniku, but my heart felt dry. Is there a yakiniku that can really touch my heart? That's the kind of restaurant that comforted me. The menu was made up of recommendations from the owner and my companion. It started with beef tataki, which was delicious! I had it with beer and thought, "This is so good!" Today, I'm going to have rice too! Even the kimchi tastes amazing! It was so delicious that I forgot to take photos. The second time, I savored it calmly. I made sure to take photos. It was so delicious that I even thought about going to Kyoto to eat yakiniku. The cost performance was great too. The best yakiniku I've had this year, perhaps.

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, I was able to make a reservation easily. The restaurant was not crowded. However, the experience was not as good as I expected. The menu was limited and I didn't feel full. In the end, I ended up eating ramen at the station while waiting for the Shinkansen.

Located on Bukkoji Street, between Shijo and Gojo, and between Karasuma and Omiya, I made a reservation and found that the restaurant was not full, possibly due to the impact of the coronavirus. I sat at the counter, ordered a drink, and was guided by the staff on whether I wanted to try the Ichibo (ribeye) tataki or the yakiniku (grilled meat). As a beginner, I appreciated the assistance. The Ichibo tataki was not as thick as I had expected, but it was packed with the savory flavor of the meat. It was slightly cold, so I grilled it on the hot plate before eating, which made it even more delicious. The MVP of the day was the grilled meat. It was cooked quickly to perfection, melting in my mouth with a mysterious radiance of the savory meat and sweet fat. The salt-grilled upper tongue was also excellent, with a thick and tender texture full of flavor. Lastly, I tried the special loin, premium kalbi, and top mino with sauce. The meat, with its visible fibers, paired perfectly with the slightly sweet sauce, enhancing the flavor of the meat. Despite the hard work of the lone female proprietor, I was able to leisurely enjoy delicious meat. The quality of the meat, the cost performance, and the overall experience make this a fantastic restaurant.
