A stylish cafe restaurant renovated from a public bath. The interior has two floors, with the first floor retaining the feel of the bathhouse, and a terrace seating area at the back. The atmosphere changes completely on the second floor, which is a bright white space. I was seated on the second floor this time. I ordered the popular dish seen on Instagram: Special Tofu Pasta ¥1450 (with bread as a set). It was made with a creamy soy milk sauce with Kyoto leeks, which was rich and delicious. It also had meatballs in it. The dish came with a special tofu on a wooden board, which was sweet and incredibly tasty! There were various condiments like yuzu pepper, matcha salt, and powdered soy sauce. Mixing this tofu with the pasta is also recommended. I also ordered an Iced Cafe au Lait ¥680 and an Iced Lemon Tea ¥600, both served with homemade salted butter cookies.

A restaurant that renovated a public bathhouse. There is a garden in the back, and it seems nice to dine outside on sunny days. The pasta noodles have a chewy texture. The tofu was especially delicious. It came with three different seasonings: powdered soy sauce, matcha salt, and sansho miso. You can enjoy trying different flavors by dipping the tofu in each seasoning or mixing it with the pasta. The tofu itself was rich and flavorful.

I had carbonara with tofu at this restaurant. The appearance was nice, and the tofu, as well as the carbonara, tasted really delicious. However, the meatballs tasted like store-bought frozen food, which was disappointing. Other than that, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff's service were good.

A stylish cafe renovated from a public bathhouse. Unfortunately, photography inside the store is not allowed... The menu seems to be designed for Instagram, with options like tofu pasta with meatballs and Kyoto leeks in soy milk cream sauce. It comes with salad, a drink, and ice cream. I enjoyed the tofu with yuzu pepper and salt before mixing it into the pasta. The pasta was delicious and chewy.

The renovated interior of the restaurant, which used to be a public bath, had a mysterious yet pleasant atmosphere. Both the tofu pasta and curry were appealing, but I chose the curry. My companion had the pasta, which was carefully prepared and very delicious. I would love to try the pasta next time. By the way, the pasta was praised for its "chewy texture of fresh pasta." The salad that came with the set was also delicious, with a flavorful dressing. The cookies that came with the drink had a salty taste and were very tasty. The dessert ice cream was also excellent. Ordering the set is definitely more cost-effective.

I went to this cafe because it had good reviews. The exterior with a triangular tiled roof and white noren curtains fluttering was quite charming. I arrived right when they opened so I was able to enter without waiting in line. It's a stylish cafe converted from a former bathhouse. Although their pancakes are famous, I decided to have an early lunch instead. I chose the lunch set with salmon and asparagus lemon cream pasta from the cute menu. They used fresh noodles, and the chewy pasta was delicious with the white sauce. The rich cream sauce with a hint of lemon was a refreshing touch. The set came with a drink. They also have various original goods, making it hard to choose souvenirs besides food. The spacious interior is child-friendly, with a bright terrace where you can bring a stroller. I relaxed in a sofa seat.

Located near JR Saga Arashiyama Station and Randen Saga Station, this cafe is a renovated former bathhouse with a great atmosphere that is open and welcoming. While it may be a bit pricey like other tourist spots in Kyoto, it is a recommended place to bring friends from outside Kyoto. The curry, pasta, and desserts are all delicious here.

I visited this shop that was renovated from a public bathhouse, which I was curious about. I went with a friend who had a baby stroller, and they kindly moved a chair so we could all sit together, which was much appreciated. The food was healthy, with options like pasta. I ordered a pasta with tofu, but the flavor became a bit bland when mixed with the tofu. There were condiments provided to eat the tofu separately, but it didn't suit my taste. There were many young people, so I felt that it was a popular spot among the younger crowd.

The terrace seats are dog-friendly. The hand-made pasta is chewy and delicious♪ But even more delicious is the tofu! It has a strong soybean flavor and goes perfectly with the condiments. The pasta may look similar in color, but the taste is completely different. There are plenty of seats and the turnover is quite fast. In one review, it mentioned that they provide milk for dogs, but it's actually cow's milk so be careful! However, that was not the case during my visit.

I visited the restaurant at 11:00 on a weekday because I couldn't make a reservation. There were a couple of other customers who also arrived at opening time, but the restaurant was surprisingly spacious and there were still plenty of seats available. I ordered the tofu pasta and the cheese mountain curry with a dinosaur egg topping. The cheese mountain curry with the egg on top looked cute! Unfortunately, the egg fell off within seconds of arriving, which was a bit disappointing, but it looked great at first! The curry was generously topped with cheese, which cheese lovers would appreciate. The tofu pasta had chicken meatballs and lots of kujo negi (a type of green onion) in it. It was creamier than I expected, with a gentle yet flavorful taste – even as someone who usually prefers stronger flavors, I found it delicious. It was fun to mix in the tofu, matcha salt, and yuzu pepper on the wooden board while eating. Overall, I was very satisfied with the unique and delicious lunch at this stylish restaurant! The signature dishes seem to be similar to what I had this time, but I would love to try the other pasta dishes as well. Thank you for the meal!

Seasonal white miso and cream pasta for 1650 yen around 3 o'clock. It was easy to get in. There were fewer people in front of the JR station. The seat I was guided to didn't feel like a public bath, but when I saw it at the time of payment, it was indeed a public bath. Like the place where you wring out the towel outside the bath. I wonder if the impression varies depending on the seat. When sitting down, the beams were painted white and bright, but there was no traditional Japanese house feel. Just a slight hint on the tiled walls. When I asked for recommendations, it was either tofu spaghetti or seasonal spaghetti, so I went with the seasonal one. I want to try tofu, but I'm not a big fan of meatballs. Honestly, it's a trendy cafe in a tourist area, so I didn't have high expectations for the taste. But it turned out to be delicious. It came with salad, bread, and a cafe latte, and the sesame dressing on the salad was a bit salty. I thought I shook it well, but maybe not enough. The spaghetti was slightly thick and had a good chewy texture. The sauce was creamy and delicious. I couldn't figure out the white miso at first, but it turned out to be spread on the plate. It didn't make much sense until I slowly melted it. I was wondering why the bread was included at first, without any meat or fish, but then I realized it was for dipping in the sauce. I made a mistake by eating it normally at first. The bread dipped in the sauce was delicious. The cafe latte was just okay. I thought it might be a cafe latte because it was foamy when it was served, but it was actually a cafe au lait.

I searched and found a stylish cafe near JR Saga Arashiyama Station, renovated from a public bathhouse. I visited for the first time on a weekend evening. - Annouimo Potage Latte: 740 yen A latte-like drink made by mixing Annouimo paste and milk, with a hint of cinnamon. - Coffee: 580 yen Deep roasted single origin coffee. I forgot to ask about the origin. It came with a cookie with a hot spring mark drawn on it. The cookie was crispy and just the right amount of sweetness. Classical guitar music played in the background as I relaxed with delicious drinks and cookies.

I received the tofu pasta set. The thick pasta and rich tofu went well together and were delicious. I personally really liked the matcha salt. The service was a bit slow, but I was happy to receive cookies along with my drink. The atmosphere inside, renovated from a public bath, was warm and comforting.

Thank you for the wonderful meal.

It seems to be a cafe renovated from a public bath, with a stylish and bright interior that retains some remnants while being predominantly white. I ordered the special tofu pasta and matcha latte. There are many young people, but it's a relaxing cafe where you can unwind. The staff are all nice and the terrace looks pleasant when the weather is good. ☕️

I made a reservation for a visit on a regular Monday at 11 am. As it is located in a tourist area, it was already full before noon. The bathhouse has been renovated, with a spacious layout and some parts of the original bathhouse preserved, creating a stylish atmosphere. The food was delicious, with just the right amount for women, making it perfect for a date. I would love to visit again!

A cafe that was renovated from a public bathhouse, with remnants of the bathhouse still visible in various places, making it fun and interesting just to look around the shop. I ordered their specialty tofu pasta. The tofu had a strong soybean flavor, which was delicious on its own. I personally loved eating it with yuzu pepper. The pasta was creamy and had a chewy texture that paired well with the cream sauce. The wilted leeks were also amazing, and when combined with the tofu, it created a mild and mellow flavor that was superb. Not only did I enjoy the atmosphere of the shop, but the food was also delicious. It's one of my favorite stylish cafes in Arashiyama.

The interior of the restaurant, which retains some of the elements of a traditional bathhouse, creates an interesting and stylish atmosphere. I tried the seasonal pancakes and matcha latte. The matcha had an authentic flavor and was served in a slightly larger cup, allowing me to fully enjoy the taste. The matcha pancakes were soft and chewy, topped with red bean paste and mochi, which paired perfectly! Adding kinako ice cream as a topping made it a very filling dessert. I would love to stop by again after exploring Arashiyama.

During my sightseeing in Arashiyama, I stopped by this cute pasta restaurant that looked delicious. The interior was not only cute but also interesting, as it seemed to have been converted from a public bath. For lunch, the homemade dressing and the original pasta with octopus and pickled vegetables were delicious. However, other dishes were not as tasty. The yuzu pepper served alongside the bread was too much, and it was very spicy if you used too much. The powdered soy sauce didn't taste like soy sauce, so I think regular soy sauce would be better. The cream pasta was also not very good, and the meatballs seemed frozen. The dinosaur egg topping was not seasoned, so I used the rock salt that came with my partner's tofu. The staff were very kind and allowed me to take photos as long as no people were in them. I'm sorry, but I evaluate based on the food, so I have given a slightly lower score. It's a great spot for Instagram photos though!

When you enter the renovated cafe at Arashiyama's public bathhouse, you will find cute goods inspired by hot springs as well as cookies served with your drink. The cafe is more like a tourist spot than a place for dining, with a second floor that attracts many Instagrammers and a first floor that captures the ambiance of a traditional bathhouse. The second floor has large tables that can accommodate groups of up to six people. (As of December 2022, rating: 3.57 stars)
