Located a 5-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station in Kyoto, this popular yakiniku restaurant, which has been awarded the Best 100 Yakiniku Restaurants on Tabelog, is a must-visit! The interior features a 14-seat L-shaped counter with an open kitchen, where the master chef cuts various types of meat in the center when orders come in, making it a fun experience to watch. Despite appearing a bit intimidating at first, the master chef is actually very friendly and considerate, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They serve fresh meats, including delicious hormone sashimi. I recommend starting with the chef's choice course and then adding on any additional items you'd like. Reservations are essential as this is a very popular restaurant that tends to fill up quickly. During my visit with 4 people, we spent around 17,000 yen per person, including drinks. The menu included roast beef, yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), namul (Korean seasoned vegetables), three types of meat sashimi, heart, white intestine, maruchin (beef omasum), tongue sashimi, asparagus, chicken tail, lamp, shiitake mushrooms, brisket, tripe, chicken tail, tail, teppanyaki, roast, harami (skirt steak), tongue, garlic fried rice. Don't forget to save this great restaurant for future reference! Follow my foodie accounts on Instagram and TikTok for more recommendations.
