On this day, I had some business at the pet shop in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, so I decided to have lunch in Nihonbashi as well. It was hot outside, so I decided to wander around inside Coredo to find a place to eat. That's when I stumbled upon this restaurant. ALEGRIA, a chain restaurant of Brazilian BBQ, which has been expanding rapidly in major cities recently. I saw one on Yasukuni Street when I visited Jimbocho the other day. Since I had never tried it before, I thought it was a good opportunity to give it a try. The restaurant seemed to have just opened, as there were congratulatory flowers outside. I was seated at a table by the edge and looked at the lunch menu. The prices were noticeably higher compared to what I saw in Jimbocho. It's definitely Coredo prices. I was thinking of getting the daily lunch special (1,300 yen), but they said they didn't have it yet since they had just opened. So, I decided to order the Shurasco Mix Plate (1,400 yen) that allows you to enjoy Brazilian BBQ. The menu mentioned that you could get a free large serving of rice, so I opted for that. After placing my order, they showed me where the self-service drink and soup station was. They had oolong tea, iced tea, coffee, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and pineapple juice available. I decided to go for a fruit juice since it was all-you-can-drink. I chose orange juice and also got some soup before returning to my seat. The soup was very salty when I took a sip. The orange juice, on the other hand, was a bit diluted since it was all-you-can-drink. After a while, they brought out the plate with salad, coleslaw, Shurasco Mix, and rice, along with a cup of curry. They mentioned that you could have seconds of the curry. The salad was just leafy greens, and the coleslaw was a pinkish color, perhaps from lemon dressing. It was a bit watery and mushy. The Shurasco was nicely grilled on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a good amount of volume. The curry in the cup was bland and lacked flavor. It might have been better if they omitted the curry and adjusted the price accordingly. The rice in the large serving was just right in terms of portion. Overall, the meal included a drink, had a good amount of food, and allowed you to enjoy plenty of meat. The content was good, but at 1,400 yen, I couldn't help but compare it to the lunch prices at the Jimbocho branch. I hope they continue to do well. Thank you for the meal.
