The hidden gem of a yakiniku restaurant, located just one block down from Shijo-Karasuma, exudes an air of luxury and sophistication. The staff, who are bright, friendly, and clean, expertly grill each piece of meat while providing detailed explanations. They even change the grill for each type of meat. The taste needs no elaborate description, it is simply delicious! The harami is so tender that it rivals sirloin. Despite being wagyu, the meat is not greasy at all. Perfect for entertaining guests. I have brought business partners here before, and they were all highly satisfied. I indulged in my favorite Rokudaime Yuragi with water, and it tasted even better than usual. Perhaps due to the weak yen, about 80% of the customers were Western tourists. The thinly sliced, marbled premium meat was different from the hearty, spiced BBQ from their country, but it was still delicious! Many customers seemed satisfied with their meal.

I made a reservation for a weekday night. It had been half a year since my last visit. As always, I felt excited walking through the corridor of light leading to the entrance. This is not just a yakiniku restaurant, it's more like a yakiniku establishment. Today, I wanted something light. I tried various dishes, but the highlight was the Yuzawa-grilled sirloin. Quickly seared, rolled up with grated yam, and dipped in dashi soy sauce, it was delicious. It was tender and flavorful. The fat was refreshing, I wonder why? It was so good that I had two pieces, and it was still delicious. I'll save the third piece for next time. I'll definitely come back again.

I noticed that the ingredients in the Yajima specialty dish, the Yajima rice, vary depending on the season, even though I've been here about 40 times (lol). I'm impressed by my own lack of awareness. The yakiniku was delicious as always. It's nice that they cook it for you. It doesn't get burnt (lol). However, like all other restaurants, the prices have gone up. Thank you for the meal.

The staff at the restaurant grilled the meat for us, so we were able to simply enjoy delicious meat! They quickly changed our plates and grills, and refilled our beers promptly - great service. The regular size of the kimchi assortment had a good amount of volume and was great value for money. They also had Kyoto-style cold-brewed gyokuro tea on the menu, which was delicious. I noticed the subtle attention to detail, such as the different scents of the towels when we entered the restaurant and after the meal.

I happened to visit this restaurant during my trip to Kyoto. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the beef tongue, but I really enjoyed the seasoning of the Yukke, which went perfectly with the rice. The rice here was incredibly delicious and I was impressed. The staff were also very kind and our conversation flowed easily, making it a fun experience. I definitely want to visit again the next time I go to Kyoto.

When I used to live in Tokyo, I often walked home from Tokyo Station to Ningyocho, passing by the Tokyo store. The store always seemed crowded, but I was surprised by the quality of the meat and the attentive service provided by the staff. My family usually only eats fillet and beef tongue, both of which were delicious. The meat is sourced from different regions like Kyushu and Aichi, not just branded meat. I visited twice recently and couldn't help but order more meat each time. The staff cooked the meat perfectly, just like at Gotei in Hatchobori. We also tried pork and chicken for the kids, which were also delicious. The restaurant is spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, so I have already made a reservation for my third visit.

I visited a yakiniku restaurant with a long history of being selected as one of the top 100 restaurants for the fourth time in six months. I made a reservation for the same day. This time, I tried their authentic yukhoe, thinly sliced tongue, harami, upper harami, tsurami, napa cabbage kimchi, lettuce, white rice, and garlic rice. The thick-cut tongue is limited to one piece per person, and unfortunately, it was sold out this time. The prices seemed to have gone up, and the portions seemed smaller than before. The harami had a slight odor, which was disappointing. The garlic rice was served in a clay pot with onions, beef, and beef fat. You can cook it yourself and share it. I recommend booking a private room where you can enjoy your meal without worrying about others.

When it comes to yakiniku, this is the place. I can't eat it anywhere else anymore. The location is good, the cost performance is good, and it's easy to use. That's why I gave this rating. Once again, beautiful meats and beautiful service. Thank you for the meal. I tried thin-sliced tongue for the first time, but it can't compare to thick-sliced tongue. I recommend reserving thick-sliced tongue in advance for the number of people in your group. (You can only order for the number of people)

I had it for the first time in a long time. Specialty! Beef tenderloin served with Tobiyama rice. It's the best. It takes about 40 minutes to prepare, so you need to order in between eating the meat. At that point, you may hesitate whether to have rice as a finish, but please try it once. Thank you for the meal.

Reservation at 6:30 pm on Monday. Kyoto is in full bloom with cherry blossoms. The area around Shijo-Karasuma is filled with tourists from both Japan and abroad. Now, onto the most important part, the meat. From the Chateaubriand to other high-quality meats that don't feel fatty at all. The seasoning is left to the chef, but it's just right. Adding homemade harissa to the soy milk cold noodles for the finishing touch makes you want to order more meat all over again. If you want to enjoy meat in Kyoto, this is the place to go. Will definitely come back again.

I visited Yasaki in Kyoto for the first time because I heard that they accept coupons for national travel support. All the dishes that came out were delicious, the speed of serving food and drinks was fast, and if you wish, the staff will cook the meat to the most delicious state so you don't have to worry about it. I was very satisfied with the price! The garlic rice here is the best I've ever had among all the garlic rice I've eaten. Another specialty seems to be the clay pot rice, but it was surprisingly expensive so I couldn't try it... I ordered the garlic rice instead, and I have no regrets at all! I will definitely order it again next time.

Yazawa-san is a very famous yakiniku restaurant. Today, I ordered the following menu items: - Authentic Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) for 2400 yen - Premium thick-cut tongue for 1200 yen per piece - Upper Harami (skirt steak) for 3200 yen - Yazawa-style sirloin for 2500 yen per piece - Upper Kalbi (short rib) for 3000 yen - Ribeye for 1800 yen - Triangular upper Kalbi for 3700 yen - Rolled ribeye for 3100 yen I tend to order the same menu items whenever I go to a restaurant, and this time was no different! The entrance of the restaurant (shown in the 7th photo) is incredibly stylish, which can make it a bit intimidating to walk in due to its luxurious feel. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I went to a cozy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered kimchi, tongue, lamp, kalbi, loin, and garlic rice. I like red meat, and all of them were tender, sweet, and delicious. The kimchi had a strong flavor which I liked. The staff cooked the meat for us at the table. I would definitely like to visit this place again!

Kyoto Shijo, Yakiniku West Hyakumeiten, Yakiniku Yazawa Kyoto. This is a branch of Yazawa from Tokyo that has expanded to Kansai. I made a reservation for one person on a Saturday afternoon about a month ago, and surprisingly it seemed to have availability. I had the tongue salt and the upper skirt. The meat was truly delicious with a sweet flavor. It was a delightful experience. Private room yakiniku really gets you excited. I was entranced. Thank you for the meal.

I tried this restaurant that only serves lunch on weekends and holidays. It had been about 3-4 years since my last visit, which was for dinner. Although they offered lunch sets, I decided to order individual items. I had the tongue salt, harami, kalbi, mino sandwich, sirloin yasuzaki, tsurami, namul assortment, and tail soup. The harami was especially delicious. The staff cooked the meat for us, so we could enjoy it at its best. I'm not sure about the cost performance, but the harami was really tasty. The tail soup had a unique flavor, more like consomme soup, so be aware when ordering!
