I went to Monja Street in Tsukishima to find a restaurant. Even on a weekday night, popular restaurants all had a waiting time. So, I found a place that I could get into quickly because it was hot. They were short-staffed but since there were few customers, there were no issues with service time. I started with a chorogi salad and squid legs with butter as appetizers. Both were very salty. I thought it was okay to replenish salt in the summer, so I washed it down with beer. I ordered the mentaiko mochi cheese monja. The strong saltiness of the monja menu was expected. The flavor and texture of the mentaiko, the stretchiness of the mochi, and the crispy cheese on the hot plate were delicious. I understand why this menu is popular at any restaurant. Maybe the difference lies in the taste of the broth. I achieved my goal of drinking beer with monja. I'm sure the popular restaurants also have delicious appetizers.

On the way back from Edogawa Ward, I stopped by Tsukishima after a long time. The usual shop I go to was closed, so I walked a bit and found this place. No other customers. I didn't look closely, but there seem to be more than 8 tables. It's already 6:30 pm. There are few people passing by, and most shops are still closed. It's a bit lonely... I don't like it when it's too noisy and crowded, but I miss the lively Monja Street. We ordered mentaiko cheese monja, kaki butter, butatama, and two glasses of oolong tea. It seems that iron plate dishes go well with alcohol after all haha. It cost 5000 yen with a little change. Tsukishima is a bit pricey after all. The taste was just delicious.

I met a friend who grew up in the downtown area and we went to Monja restaurant called Goe Mon in Tsukishima. I forgot to take a photo, but the Monja was delicious after a long time. We also ordered okonomiyaki, seafood, and enjoyed Tsukishima. We ended up drinking too much.

After using it after a yakiniku restaurant. [Ordered Items] <Mentaiko Mochi Cheese> 1300 yen ☆3.5 Mentaiko comes whole in one piece. The mochi is cut into squares. It's very delicious when hot. Nothing special to mention since you make it yourself. <Pork Belly> 750 yen ☆3 Thin and small pork belly typical of a monja-yaki restaurant. Served with wasabi. <Anko Roll> 500 yen ☆4.5 This is delicious (*´╰╯`๓)♬ I like anko rolls, and even compared to other stores, I think it's delicious. I can't make it myself, so I asked the staff to make it. The dough is chewy and delicious. I think it contains not only wheat flour but also proper shiratamako. I topped it with ice cream and enjoyed it even more. <Ice Cream> 300 yen ☆- Ordered as a topping for the anko roll. It enhances the deliciousness. [Atmosphere] ☆3.5 I think it's a relatively new restaurant. The interior was clean. The fact that it's child-friendly is also a big plus.

The amount of spicy cod roe was generous and delicious. The beef tendon monjayaki was a bit too spicy for kids, so it might be better to reduce the amount of red ginger when kids are eating it.

It was a beautiful restaurant, so my friend and I decided to go in. When I asked the staff if many celebrities visit this restaurant in Tsukishima, they said, "Yes, they do." I further inquired if they had any photos, being a bit of a fan, but was told that the owner wants to ensure a private atmosphere for everyone, so they treat all customers the same. While chatting about this, we had their special Goe-Mon Monja, which was filled with seafood and meat, seasoned perfectly and great for beginners. They also had unique dishes like omurice. I definitely plan to visit this restaurant again, as there seems to be a different menu at the main branch.

It was delicious! I didn't expect them to make not only monjayaki but also yakisoba, haha. It has become a memorable place for me. I will definitely come back again someday!

I went during a busy time so I had to wait in line! Waiting in line makes you even hungrier, doesn't it? Personally, the Baby Star monjayaki was really delicious! You can make anything on the teppanyaki grill, so the possibilities are endless! I will definitely go again!!

I went to lunch with my friends and wandered around. The staff were polite and the food was delicious. We enjoyed both drinks and dishes for around 2000 yen.

I took a break from Tsukishima Goemon Hanare and decided to go to Tsukishima with an acquaintance to eat monjayaki and okonomiyaki around 6:00 PM. We went to a monja street in Tsukishima that we had never been to before, looking for a place that was not crowded and not dirty. We were drawn to a sign that said "Noriten Tsukudani Monja," which seemed to meet our criteria of not being crowded or dirty, so we decided to go there. The restaurant had 8 tables for 4 people each and a large group seating area. Initially, there was only one group with children and us, but by around 7:00 PM when we left, the restaurant was full and there were even people waiting for reservations, showing that there is still a high demand for monjayaki in Tsukishima. We ordered Noriten Tsukudani Monja, beef tendon okonomiyaki, tofu salad, and 2 beers. The Sapporo beer was delicious and served in clean glasses. The Noriten Tsukudani Monja had a refreshing flavor and was also delicious. The tofu salad was healthy and the dressing was tasty. And the beef tendon okonomiyaki!! It was delicious, partly because I was good at cooking it (laughs). Overall, everything was delicious! I have never had bad monjayaki in Monja Street. This place may be a matter of personal preference, but I personally liked it. However, there was only one waiter in the restaurant, causing a slight delay for customers, so I thought they should have had more staff. Despite this, the food was still delicious. It cost around 2500 yen per person, so it's suitable for going with friends, as a couple, or even with a group of about 10 people.

Located in the middle of Tsukishima and Kachidoki (although Tsukishima Station might be closer), this restaurant specializes in both monjayaki and okonomiyaki. They also offer a variety of other dishes. It is recommended to opt for the all-you-can-drink party plan as drinks at monjayaki restaurants can be pricey. The interior, with its warm wooden decor, is free from the sticky and smelly atmosphere often found in older establishments. This new restaurant is a refreshing change.

I arrived at this restaurant around 4 o'clock and there were about 3 or 4 groups already inside. The first thing I ordered was the special monjayaki with various ingredients, which was delicious (although the portion was a bit large). After a while, I had the okonomiyaki with beef tendon, which was also tasty. Then I tried the yakisoba and fried rice, both of which were cooked and served quickly. The yakisoba had just the right seasoning, and the fried rice was delicious and fluffy. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. It was really delicious. Thank you very much. Itadakimasu!
