I finally visited the Shinbashi Oyster Shack that I had been wanting to go to! It's located straight ahead from the Shimbashi SL Square towards Yurakucho Station, along the train tracks. It's easy to find as it's under the elevated tracks. I had made a reservation in advance, so I was able to smoothly get a seat. First, I ordered a beer and steamed oysters were served as an appetizer. They provided gloves and an oyster knife on the table, so you can grill them yourself and then peel and eat them! It was a bit of a workout, but once you open them up, you'll find plump oysters. I enjoyed both raw and steamed oysters, as well as clams and scallops. Personally, I used to prefer oyster bars for raw oysters, but the grilled oysters were also delicious, packed with flavor. I didn't take a photo, but I also ordered grilled rice balls at the end and grilled them to my liking. The cost-performance ratio was good, and even after eating and drinking to my heart's content, it was around 5,000 yen per person. It was a weekday, but by around 7 pm, it was almost full, so I got the impression that reservations are essential. There is also a second branch in the same area. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I used it for a farewell party!!! Enjoyed delicious oysters for about 2 hours. The oysters were delicious and satisfying!!! The oyster fry had a firm texture and was tasty, giving a real sense of eating oysters. It cost around ¥5,000 per person. Thank you for the meal!

My husband and I made a reservation and visited for lunch on Sunday. It's been 4-5 years since our last visit! This time, instead of the all-you-can-eat grilled oysters, we wanted to enjoy a variety of oyster dishes so we only reserved seats. We also brought our own wine bottle. Here's what we ordered: Draft beer x 2, corkage fee x 2, grilled oysters x 6 x 2, fried oysters x 2, assorted raw oysters, oyster ajillo, lamb chops, and buttered potatoes. The oysters were delicious as expected, but the lamb chops were surprisingly tender. They were delicious. The staff (who seemed to be foreigners?) were very friendly and provided attentive service. I definitely want to go again!

This was my first time visiting! We were a group of 8 people. The atmosphere from outside the restaurant was amazing! The staff were friendly and we had a great time drinking. They were accommodating when we arrived late, which was really helpful. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and we felt like we got good value for the price.

Newly renovated Shinbashi area is always bustling. I was intrigued by the oyster shack and made a reservation to visit on a Saturday. I thought the area would be quiet on a Saturday without the salarymen, but it was surprisingly crowded. Good thing I made a reservation! I booked the all-you-can-eat oysters, but apparently you need to reserve in advance for that. So, I gave up on the all-you-can-eat option. The restaurant has a barbecue style where you can grill the seafood you ordered right in front of you. It was fun grilling it myself! I ordered fresh oysters, grilled oysters, scallops, and shishamo. The scallops were a bit tricky to know when they were ready, but it was a fun experience. I was instructed to grill the oysters for 6 minutes on each side, and they turned out delicious! The grilled oysters were amazing! I've been to various oyster bars before, so I felt the fresh oysters were a bit small for the price. I love how oysters taste different depending on the region, but when they are this small, I can't help but compare it to the price. Also, it was a bit disappointing that the staff didn't come over when called. I understand they were busy, but it would be better if there was someone available on the floor. It's understandable that they need to go in and out of the kitchen to bring out dishes, but if customers have to keep calling for service, it might make them hesitate to do so. Despite that, I enjoyed the experience of grilling my own food, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Next, Kakiya Tobiume offered a special Kaki Hour DX, which is like a happy hour, but only available here in Tokyo. Oh wow, one fresh oyster for 190 yen, that's amazing. The size was quite large and very satisfying to eat. Today's oysters were from Oshika in Ishinomaki City, and they had a particularly rich flavor. They also served Manjyu Togarashi and fried eggplant. Manjyu Togarashi is a traditional vegetable from Kyoto that actually isn't spicy. The secret to the green dumplings is the "yukina" from Sendai, a specialty of the Yotchan Farm in Miyagi, made without using heat. They are served with a special raw chili oil. The mild vegetable dumplings pair perfectly with the fresh raw chili oil. Definitely try them out, they are super delicious.

First time at an oyster shack. We went for the a la carte course with all-you-can-drink plan. It's easier if you're in a group. It takes time to cook, so you might need to order something else individually. You can enjoy fresh seafood. You can choose between all-you-can-drink or pay 600 yen for BYOB. There were quite a few customers who brought their own drinks.

It's wonderful that the appetizer was steamed oysters. I had ordered grilled and raw oysters, so it was a table full of oysters in no time! It was a first-time experience to throw the shells into the large can under the table, and it was great. There is an oyster bar nearby, but if you prefer beer over champagne, this place is the right choice.

You can bring your own alcohol. Be careful not to drink too much as seafood goes well with alcohol. The oysters on the day were a bit smaller than usual, but still delicious. It was our first time visiting as a family, and surprisingly even the elementary school kids enjoyed it. We will definitely visit again as a family.

Apart from the narrow seating, I am very satisfied. It was crowded, so I recommend making a reservation. The hot fried oysters and all-you-can-eat grilled oysters, along with bringing your favorite drinks, were the best entertainment! You can ask the staff for ice, and if you have leftover alcohol, you can enjoy it in Hibiya Park.

On Sunday at 7:30 PM, four friends and I visited the restaurant. Despite thinking it would be crowded, it was relatively calm. We chose the all-you-can-eat grilled oyster course, which came with fried oysters and grilled rice balls. Additional items could be ordered for an extra charge. We ordered garlic shrimp, honbinos, oyster rice, a tasting of three types of raw oysters, and drinks, all of which were delicious. It is recommended to order more grilled oysters halfway through, as they are cooked for about 6 minutes on each side and around 15 oysters fit on the grill at once. Occasionally, there is a strong smell coming from some oysters, so be sure not to eat those (probably bad ones). Other than that, we enjoyed the meal.

The steamed sake appetizer was delicious and had a great value. The oysters were decent as they were not in season, but the grilled oysters, ahi poke, and grilled squid were all delicious. It was convenient to have a place under the table to dispose of the shells. We opted to pay the additional 660 yen corkage fee for bringing our own alcohol, which was definitely worth it. The staff were friendly and attentive, quickly clearing empty cans and providing a bucket with ice water to chill our drinks. We had a very enjoyable time and would love to visit again in the winter.

A friend and I were talking about wanting to eat oysters, so we made a reservation and visited a restaurant. They offered an all-you-can-eat course for grilled oysters, and you can bring your own seasonings (though they also provide soy sauce). The course also includes must-have items like fried oysters and grilled rice balls. The oysters take about 6 minutes on each side to cook, so if you want to eat a lot, be ready to add more oysters as soon as they're done grilling! You can also bring your own alcohol for a fee, which might be a good deal if you want to drink a lot or have a specific brand in mind. The atmosphere is great for a fun and lively meal with friends, so I highly recommend it!

On Saturday night, five oyster lovers visited and enjoyed bringing four bottles of wine that go well with oysters ✨ The combination of orange wine or white wine with raw oysters is the best~☺️!!! I usually hesitate to have raw oysters at home because I thought there wouldn't be my favorite drink outside, but here my dream came true! 😂 We brought some good wine and had a great time chatting, so I was very satisfied♪

Located under the JR guard near the old First Hotel Annex, I thought it was URACORI at first, but it seems different. I tried the 100-minute all-you-can-eat grilled oyster course from lunchtime. You can bring your own seasonings, and I personally prefer ponzu sauce. The guide recommends grilling for 5 minutes on each side, so I calculated that you can eat up to 60 oysters in 100 minutes by grilling 6 at a time. However, this time I only had 30 oysters. Oysters surprisingly fill you up, so I felt like I wanted to grill a little more. After they opened, I added ponzu sauce and had 4 refills before time was up. You can bring your own sparkling drink, and they only have one type of glass, but it's okay. The fried oysters before grilling and the grilled rice ball at the end were thoughtful touches.

It's wonderful that you can have a daytime drink! I was surprised that the appetizer was steamed oysters. It was fun to see oyster shells being thrown under the table. The three different types of raw oysters tasted completely different and were very good! It was enjoyable to have special gloves as well. The fact that it was a semi-basement location also added to the excitement! I would love to go back again!

After a long time, I had oysters!! I suddenly felt like eating them✨ I was lucky that the shop was still open in the late afternoon! I was able to walk in without a reservation! Not only were the raw oysters delicious, but the fried oysters were also amazing. The grilled rice ball with oyster miso was too delicious ☺️ I was very satisfied!

I want to eat delicious oysters until I'm full! So I went to Kakigoya Shinbashi. This time, I opted for the course menu. I enjoyed various shellfish steamed in a large can, as well as fresh oysters and grilled oysters. The grilled rice ball at the end was really good. They allow you to bring your own drinks for an additional 660 yen, so I will definitely bring my own next time! Thank you for the delicious meal.

First of all, the steamed oysters served as a starter were not your average appetizer, they were simply delicious. The grilled oysters were also incredibly juicy and amazing. Then, I tried a variety of raw oysters and enjoyed tasting the different flavors of each one. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but the oyster fry was outstanding and I ended up ordering it again. Both the raw and fried oysters were delicious. It was a great meal, thank you!

The staff skillfully cooked the food for us! They mentioned that if we order more now, they can cook it two more times within the time limit. It was a great deal and we enjoyed it. The only seasonings available were soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sauce. They didn't provide ponzu or lemon juice, so remember to bring your own!

I felt like eating oysters, so I made a reservation at this highly rated restaurant on Tabelog. They allow you to bring your own alcohol for 600 yen per person, so I bought beer, shochu, and sake from a convenience store before visiting. Steamed oysters were served as a complimentary dish, which was impressive. However, it became quite difficult afterwards. Making drinks was a hassle, and opening oysters was hard work. The table was cramped due to the grill, and it was crowded with alcohol, water, ice, tongs, etc. It felt busy and we couldn't really enjoy conversation, so we decided to move to a different place for the second round. It might be someone's preference, but I think a regular oyster bar would be more enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.
