Today's dinner was my second visit to Nakamura Shoten Kyoto Ramen Koji Store located in Kyoto Station Building. I came here because I heard that they serve the summer limited edition cold ramen that is also available at their main store in Takatsuki. I ordered the "Cold Kin no Shio" and "Extra Noodles" from the ticket machine and waited in line. The seating area is quite spacious so I didn't have to wait long. After about 15 minutes, I was seated and served. First, I tried the soup. The balance of salt seasoning with chicken and bonito broth was excellent. The coldness was about 90%. The noodles were thick, straight and chewy. The toppings included chashu, menma, and white negi. The menma was the pointed type. The only thing I didn't quite like was the chashu, I prefer it to be a bit softer and juicier. Overall, everything else was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Located on the 10th floor of Isetan Kyoto, this ramen shop in Kyoto Ramen Koji offers a dish called "Kin no Niwatori Shirodare Aburi Yakibuta Ajitama" for 1150 yen, with an additional topping of 2 slices of chashu for 150 yen. I also ordered one piece of fried chicken for 180 yen and a small bowl of rice for 100 yen. The chicken flavor in the ramen soup was a bit strong for my liking. The portion of rice, even in the small size, was quite generous, and the fried chicken was also large, so be careful not to order too much.

Before heading home, I had ramen! It was my first time at Ramen Koji. It's interesting! I lined up at this shop near the entrance. I ordered the mini size, but it was like, "Is this really mini?" I was very satisfied. It's a good idea to go for the mini size and try some side dishes too! The colorful little toppings were really cute! The soup was clear and the thin noodles were my favorite type! It was delicious. I definitely want to go again.

This area is full of ramen shops, but this shop, despite being tucked away, is very popular. It was hot outside, but the inside of the shop was cool, so we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. We ordered the "all-in" ramen, and everything was delicious. I would definitely want to come back here when I visit Kyoto again.

I went to a restaurant on the 10th floor of Kyoto Isetan, inside Kyoto Ramen Koji, with the intention of trying their cold noodles, but unfortunately they were not available. I ordered the recommended salt ramen instead. It was neither good nor bad in my opinion. Maybe there are too many delicious ramen options available these days. It wasn't a meal that made me want to come back and eat again until my brain remembers it. Thank you for the meal.

I decided to go to this restaurant because while other places had lines, this one had no one waiting. I had the Chinese noodles and they were delicious. When the food was brought to me, I thought it looked really good. When I tried it, it was simple but very tasty. I wanted to keep the dumplings all to myself (laughs). The fried rice was also simple but delicious, and I didn't get tired of it. I wondered why such a delicious place had no line. I felt like telling others how good it was. But as we were leaving, more people were lining up outside. It was lucky that we got in without waiting. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere at the counter is comfortable with a good distance between seats, so you don't feel crowded by the person next to you. The staff are friendly and create a nice ambiance. I ordered the Shio (salt) ramen and the rich chicken white broth ramen. They were served in about 5 minutes. The Shio ramen had a perfect balance of saltiness, providing a satisfying taste. The rich chicken white broth was flavorful and the charred onions added a nice touch. However, I felt that the noodles could use a bit more improvement. Overall, both the Shio ramen and the chicken white broth were delicious, but I think there could be a better noodle option. The service was attentive and I felt well taken care of. When I have time at Kyoto Station, I would like to visit again.

I used to go to Kyoto for my studies for 2 years, and before the pandemic, I used to do eyelash extensions and perms in Kyoto. However, I haven't been to Kyoto at all lately. On this day, the person I was supposed to meet had trouble with the train due to strong winds, so I ended up having lunch alone at Kyoto Station. I tried a ramen place called Kyoto Ramen Alley, but it didn't meet my expectations. I should have just gone to Katsukura for their delicious pork cutlet with bamboo shoots and shrimp. Usually, when I get paid, I treat myself to Katsukura, but this time I tried something different and it wasn't as good.

I was feeling hungry, so I went looking for ramen. I stumbled upon a place called Ramen Koji in Kyoto Station, where there are several ramen shops from all over the country. Since it was midday and not too busy, I decided to try the most highly rated shop on Tabelog, called Nakamura Shoten. I ordered their recommended Ajitama Ramen and fried rice. The Ajitama was delicious, but I could have done without it. The soup was clear and had a rich flavor, truly living up to its reputation as "golden ramen". It was simple yet complex, showing great attention to detail with a punch of flavor. Personally, I would have preferred the noodles to be a bit firmer. The fried rice was surprisingly tasty. However, due to its location in a tourist area, the prices were a bit on the higher side.

I wanted to eat ramen, so I went to the 10th floor of Isetan where they had a variety of options. I was thinking about getting salt ramen or seafood ramen, but I ended up choosing the recommended rich white broth ramen from the vending machine. I was originally looking for something light, but I was hungry so I also ordered some dumplings. The rich broth really coated the noodles well and it was delicious! The white leeks on top paired perfectly with the ramen. The dumplings were small but had a lot of filling. Eating the dumplings after the rich white broth ramen may not have been the best idea as the flavors got a bit muddled. Next time, I'll try the salt ramen and see how it is.

I ordered chicken broth ramen and half-fried rice. The menu showed the soup color as white, but it was actually brown. It had a pork bone-like taste, but I'm not good at judging flavors so I'm not sure. The half-fried rice had firm grains, but each grain stood out, which was nice. I wish I had ordered a regular portion.

Hello ( ̄Д ̄)ノ Are you eating ramen? Yes, ramen is delicious, right? So, I'm here at Kyoto Ramen Koji. This time, I visited a shop called Nakamura Shoten Kyoto Ramen Koji store. I arrived before lunchtime, and there were already lines forming at various places. It seems like Kyoto Ramen Koji during the tourist season is quite busy. I quickly purchased a ticket from the machine. Since I have been to all the other Nakamura Shoten stores (probably), I decided to go for the light salt flavor. I ordered the recommended dish, the salt ramen with seasoned egg for 1,000 yen. I lined up, entered the shop, sat at an available counter seat, handed over the ticket, and waited. The shop is filled with a nice aroma. It smells like a delicious udon shop rather than a ramen shop when you close your eyes!! On the table, there is shichimi (seven-flavor chili pepper) and pepper. After a short wait, the salt ramen with seasoned egg for 1,000 yen arrived. The clear soup with beautiful oil floating on top. Green onions, white negi, and fatty chashu. A seasoned egg with a burst and finely sliced menma (bamboo shoots) were included. When I tasted the soup, it was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of saltiness, and the umami slowly spread in my mouth. It's delicious, the way the broth is made feels very Japanese. The noodles are flat noodles with a high water content, offering a good chew! They are not soggy but have a nice firmness, good texture, and go well with the soup. The fatty chashu has a distinctive flavor and stands out in this ramen. The seasoned egg also tastes great when eaten with the soup, enhancing the sweetness of the yolk. The green onions and white negi also play their part well in this ramen. I finished the delicious salt ramen, slurped up all the soup, and it was a feast. As expected of Nakamura Shoten, it was a delicious salt ramen. Thank you very much! PS Recently, do you feel like there are many things that seem obviously wrong?! Like the son of a prominent person taking pictures on the red carpet (paid for by our tax money)? If you think about it sensibly, you should be able to distinguish between right and wrong, right? Around 11:30, I arrived at the restaurant and waited in line for about 10 minutes before being seated. I ordered the Special Salt Ramen for 1390 yen. The special topping seemed to be exclusive to Kyoto Ramen Koji, with lots of chashu arranged around the dish. The soup was elegant but had a strong saltiness with plenty of green onions. The chashu was cooked at a low temperature, giving it a rare roast-like taste and it was delicious! The noodles were slightly thick and chewy. Thank you for the meal!

I chose this ramen at the ramen floor in Kyoto Station. My friend chose the Gold Salt, and I chose the Rich White Chicken. Personally, the chicken was firm and delicious, the egg was perfectly half-cooked, and the noodles were delicious with the right thickness. I'm not a fan of tonkotsu ramen, so I chose chicken, but it was rich and delicious without any unpleasant smell. It was my first ramen in a while, and I think ramen in Kansai may be tastier than in Kanto.

Personally, this was my favorite ramen so far. Maybe it's because I heard it was popular, but I was really impressed. I like chicken broth ramen, so I decided to try it on a whim, and it turned out to be a fateful encounter. I will definitely go back again.

Nakamura Shoten's chicken white broth ramen is of high quality compared to other shops. However, there is only one store in Kyoto at Kyoto Station Building's Kyoto Ramen Alley, so I wish they would open more locations. Nakamura Shoten's chicken clear broth soup is also delicious, so I often wish there were more shops nearby. This review may sound like just a wish list, but thank you for the meal.

Due to time constraints, I had lunch in Kyoto and was able to easily enter Kyoto Ramen Koji. Unlike the long line at MatsuTani, I could get in without any trouble. I wanted to eat the fried rice set, and it tasted as good as I had hoped.

It took over 30 minutes from lining up to being served, which was a bit frustrating. Also, perhaps I had too high expectations for the gold salt, as it turned out to be just average. However, the noodles were slightly thick and flat, and overall it was a flawless bowl of ramen!! Thank you for the meal!! It was one of the most crowded places I've ever been to (among ramen shops).

I found this restaurant while searching for ramen on Tabelog during a business trip where I wasn't very familiar with the area. When I went up to the 10th floor in the elevator, I saw a long line forming at the shop. I thought I was late, so I bought a meal ticket first before lining up. I couldn't decide between the most popular ramen with seasoned egg or the shop owner's recommendation, but I ended up choosing the most popular one. The salt flavor was rich and the flat noodles matched well, making it very delicious.

I visited the popular ramen shop, Nakamura Shoten, on Ramen Alley. During lunchtime on a weekday at 12 o'clock, there was no line, but all the tables were full so we waited outside with my child for 10 minutes. I ordered the Chicken White Broth ramen, while my wife ordered the Golden Salt ramen. When we entered the shop, there was a nice aroma of the broth... and then our bowls arrived. The rich and mellow Chicken White Broth soup was really good. However, I felt that the noodles were a bit lacking... I think they could use noodles that better complement the soup. But maybe they use the same noodles for the salt ramen to save costs. The Salt ramen, which is their specialty, was outstanding. The seafood broth was amazing. It felt like it could cure a hangover in an instant. I think it's a great choice to go there when you're in the mood for Salt ramen.
