I visited the popular Daruma restaurant in Tsukishima. The main store was full, so I was recommended to try the second store, "Tsukishima specialty Monja Daruma Ikina Ten." The atmosphere was just like the main store, and the menu was the same too, so I had a great time. As it was our second stop, we started with grilled squid, which was surprisingly large and had a great texture. Then we had Monja, which the staff cooked for us, and it was delicious. Adding seaweed made it even better! Next, we tried the okonomiyaki, which was cooked for us too, and it was fluffy and delicious. For dessert, we had green tea and red bean roll with plenty of black syrup, which was also tasty. The staff at Daruma were all friendly and fun. I definitely want to go back again. I have been going to Daruma in Asakusa for a long time. With the opening of the Skytree branch and the increase in stores, it has become trendy. What I like the most is that it is not sauce-based. I think the taste, price, service, atmosphere, and location are all great. Personally, I'm not a fan of Suntory Premium Malt beer. I like beer, but since all beers are Malt, I might not have it next time.

I visited around 12 o'clock on a regular day. The restaurant was busy but I was seated without any wait. Maybe because it's a sister restaurant of Daruma, the interior was new and clean. Many monjayaki restaurants are old, so this clean interior left a good impression. I ordered the recommended seafood monja and mentaiko mochi cheese monja. I also added pork and egg okonomiyaki because I was worried I wouldn't be full. The staff made the monja quickly when requested, which was nice. I used to think all monja were the same, but this one was delicious!! The seafood ingredients were flavorful, and the mentaiko was amazing, as expected. The mentaiko mochi cheese was a winner no matter where you eat it. We cooked the okonomiyaki ourselves, and it was satisfying with a good portion size. We were a group of three and spent about 4200 yen in total (no drinks). The cost performance was also good. The staff's service was great, and we finished eating in about an hour, so the speed of service was good too. Overall, it was a satisfying restaurant experience! This was my third visit to this restaurant. I enjoy the food here but was disappointed this time. Even though there were two empty seats at the back, I was told they were for a group and was seated at the front. Five minutes later, another pair was seated at the supposedly group table. Wait, wasn't that table for groups? I understand wanting to fill up the front seats first, but blatant lies are not okay. Good food is important, but good service is just as crucial. I can't feel happy and satisfied leaving here. The food is delicious, but...

My friend from Nagoya wanted to go to a monjayaki restaurant in Tsukishima. Honestly, I felt like monjayaki is something you can find anywhere, so there was no need to come all the way to Tsukishima. But since I hadn't seen my friend in 10 years, I had to go along with their request. It had been about 2 years since I had been in this area, and the Monja Road was bustling with activity. I noticed some inbound tourists, but it seemed like there were mostly young Japanese people. Every restaurant was packed, with people waiting outside. Our restaurant was no exception, but luckily my friend's friend had reserved a table for us. I didn't have any teppanyaki, so I went straight for the monjayaki. I tried the specialty monjayaki of the restaurant, which was filled with lots of octopus, and the classic mentaiko mochi cheese monjayaki. The mentaiko mochi cheese tasted just like I remembered. The staff cooked it for us, which made it easy. The broth had a nice flavor, but it was a bit thin so I added some sauce and shichimi pepper. In the end, I realized that coming all the way here and waiting in line for this food wasn't really necessary.

Visited as the second stop on a Saturday night. The first okonomiyaki restaurant we went to was not great, so we decided to try another one for our second stop. There were a few groups waiting in front of the restaurant. We ended up waiting for almost an hour. We ordered okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and anko roll, and all of them were cooked by the staff. It was my first time having okonomiyaki cooked by the staff at the restaurant. The prices for both food and drinks were reasonable, making it a highly recommended place.

I went to Tsukishima to eat one of my favorite dishes, monjayaki! Normally I prefer Baby Star monja, but the mentaiko mochi monja was also delicious. My French friend, who was trying monja for the first time, was also very happy with the meal.

After drinking, I got a bit hungry and wanted to eat monjayaki, so I stopped by this restaurant. It was difficult to find a place in Monja Street with so many shops, but I decided to come here while walking. It was quite crowded, but surprisingly I was called in quickly after writing my name. I just wanted to eat monjayaki, so I ordered one with rice cakes and mentaiko topping, along with baby star noodles. The monjayaki was cooked by the staff, making it easy for me. Eating it was so enjoyable. The taste was delicious and I finished it in no time. I wanted to try okonomiyaki as well, but this time I only had monjayaki. I would like to try different dishes next time. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had the Monja at Daruma-kun and it was delicious. It had plenty of shrimp, scallops, octopus, and seafood. I was pleasantly surprised by the scallops in it. The friendly and attentive staff cooked it for me. Whenever I go to Tsukishima, I always struggle to decide where to eat, but I definitely want to go back to Daruma next time.

Visited for a Monja time with friends☆ Monja is so exciting, right? Had a delicious Monja! The atmosphere of the staff at the restaurant was great, and it was very comfortable. Had a fun and satisfying time enjoying delicious food! Definitely want to go back again♪

I like the name of the restaurant, "Sui"! I went there with my friends. I actually wanted to grill by myself, but it was nice to have the staff grill for us! Their grilling skills were professional. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. It recently opened, so the inside of the restaurant was clean. I will definitely go back! Maybe next time I can try grilling by myself!

I went for lunch with my friends. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the standout dish was the squid ink monjayaki! The rich flavor of the squid ink in the monjayaki was so good that we couldn't stop eating. The red bean paste roll for dessert was also a hit. The staff were energetic and provided great service. I definitely want to go back.

I used it for the first time in a long time, as the corona situation has settled down. Just like last time, the staff were quick and efficient, and they were bright and friendly when they were grilling, which made for a very pleasant customer service experience ☆ I ordered the "HOT Bacon Tomato Monja", a spicy monja, which was a big hit! It went perfectly with beer too♪

I tried the special Genoma Monja that can only be eaten at this restaurant. It had a fresh taste with tomatoes, basil, and cheese. The restaurant was new and had a clean and hygienic interior. Monja restaurant in Tsukishima is a well-known place. I visited this restaurant for the first time during the pandemic because they had moved locations. Despite the current situation, there were still people waiting in line, showing how popular this place is. The atmosphere inside was calm, and the staff were very polite. The dishes were generous in portion size, and both the classic monja and seafood teppanyaki were delicious!

Today's restaurant is a Monja-yaki place called Daruma, with several locations in Tsukishima and even at the Skytree, which was a bit surprising. I ordered the classic Monja with mentaiko (spicy cod roe) of course! The combination of cheese and mentaiko is amazing. Can't stop eating it. It's disappearing. So sad. (Suddenly speaking broken Japanese) This time I couldn't try the okonomiyaki, so I want to try that next time♪

A friend recommended a delicious Monja restaurant, so I decided to try it out! Both the Monja and Okonomiyaki were amazing! The interior of the restaurant was also clean, and I personally loved that they had green tea available. The Anko Maki was also delicious, so I'm thinking of going back to eat there again!

We ordered mentaiko mochi cheese and seafood cream monjayaki, which they cooked for us so we could enjoy it without worrying about cooking. They also checked on us when our glasses were empty. The service is excellent. For dessert, we ordered anko and apricot roll, which the staff cooked for us, and it was incredibly delicious. It was like a crepe, chewy and delightful. We had a great time. Will definitely go back!

Recently, it feels like I've only been going to Daruma-san for monjayaki. I keep writing the same thing over and over, but they cook it for you, and even though I can't order it, the lunch set for two people with mentaiko mochi cheese and one okonomiyaki and two soft drinks is around 1400 yen per person, which is really reasonable. It's also very comfortable not sitting on tatami mats, so I always end up choosing this restaurant. Today, I ordered the curry cheese monjayaki and raw egg Baby Star. I recommend trying the curry monjayaki as the second one or later, not the first one!!

A new restaurant has opened on Monja Street in Tsukishima, located in a newly built tower mansion. The place is very clean and has a great atmosphere! The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service, even offering to cook the monja for us without us having to ask. There were so many types of monja to choose from, but we decided on the classic "Mochi Mentaiko Cheese" and the "HOT Shitamachi Curry." They paired perfectly with ice-cold beer, making for a fantastic dining experience.
