This is my favorite restaurant that I have visited several times. It's great for couples or solo diners, and they also have private table seating at the back which I have used before. However, I highly recommend sitting at the spacious counter. Enjoying wine and chatting with the wonderful owner creates a sense of luxury. On this day, I tried the summer-limited cold sea urchin pasta which I hadn't had this year yet. This pasta always makes me feel like it's summer. I also had a limited edition white wine that paired well with the dish. By the way, in the spring, I enjoy the firefly squid pasta. I will definitely visit again.

I had Uni pasta for the second time this year in Sapporo because I had business to attend to. I have completely fallen in love with it. This time, I tried it with rose wine, but I think the full-bodied white wine recommended last time is still the best match. Another great way to enjoy the leftover sauce is to dip it in a hot sandwich with truffle butter.

This is my second visit, but last time I couldn't try the sea urchin pasta I wanted because it was only available in summer. The fresh sea urchin is served cold, most likely mixed with tomato or cream. The richness and sweetness of the sea urchin are enhanced while the acidity makes it refreshing and easy to eat, pairing well with white wine. There are also various other creatively prepared dishes on the menu.

On this early closing day, huh? Open from 4 pm, I see. Inside the shop, there was a dandy gentleman at the counter. The staff, who looked like Kuroshima Yuna, was very friendly. Maybe she's the owner? The atmosphere inside the shop was nice. I want to visit too. I ordered: Sapporo Perfect Classic (600 yen), Grandma's Bean and Burdock Croquette (650 yen), 2021 Soave Classico Suavia (880 yen). Started with a beer. Grandma's bean and burdock croquette was a hit! Full of healthy ingredients like beans and burdock. And the croquette coating didn't absorb too much oil. It was delicious! I ordered a spicy white wine and enjoyed it with the croquette. Yummy! Two elderly gentlemen sat next to me at the counter. They had white hair and seemed quite old. They ordered a lot of Italian dishes. They seemed so lively at this restaurant! I felt like the atmosphere here was making everyone happy and energetic. It was a delightful meal. I would love to visit this place again.

On the second day of the second party in Hokkaido in March 2023, the group left Koyo-tei and headed to this place they had visited before. I think it was a 100-seat restaurant. They were seated at the same private room-like table in the back. They left it to those who were knowledgeable about wine. They talked about Barolo and how the fragrance was nice. It really complements the glass. They had 4 kinds of cheese pizza and black truffle and cocoa nib chocolate sea urchin. Even though they had just eaten a salmon roe bowl, they still wanted something to nibble on. Well, it's a different genre, more like Western food, and it was delicious. Especially the truffle chocolate was a treat with the wine. Even though I usually drink wine that costs a few hundred yen and am satisfied, I think this place is really good.

On the second day of my business trip to Hokkaido in August 2022, we left two izakayas for dinner and decided to go a little further. My colleague found a highly rated restaurant that surprisingly had availability despite being crowded during the summer vacation. We were able to get seats in the back and had an enjoyable evening. We ordered wine, and since I'm not knowledgeable about it, I left the choice to the staff. One thing that stood out to me was the chocolate with a high cocoa content. It looked like dark chocolate, and I was afraid to say it looked like wheat chocolate, but the bitterness of the cocoa was delicious, and I could enjoy it slowly with the wine. The pizza was also delicious. As we kept ordering, someone suggested trying the Affogato, which surprised everyone, but it was a combination of coffee and vanilla that I really enjoyed. In Susukino, you're supposed to have a parfait for dessert, but the strong coffee was a nice change. I had a great time at this restaurant and realized that I was still going out with the people who had come to Hokkaido for the first time in a long time. They wanted to go for ramen next.

We made a phone reservation just before and visited with 3 people at 20:20 on Saturday. The interior of the restaurant is designed like a mountain hut. We ordered a bottle of Lange Chardonnay, a bottle of Chianti Classico, squid tempura, green salad, and tripe. The wine service was excellent. The specialty dish, chilled pasta with sea urchin, was outstanding.

Limited quantity "Salyu Pudding" with a rich and moist Italian pudding. There is no photo, but other options include a three-cheese platter of smoked mackerel, olive-stuffed meatballs, fried appetizers, Fukuoka-produced chilled Spanish mackerel with marinated red turnips and aromatic vegetables, sakura-scented focaccia hot sandwich, and chocolate gelato. The food is delicious, so I would like to use it again for a first course.

Sometimes, it's nice to visit a bar and enjoy some wine. I visited around 6:50 pm and was informed that last order was at 8 pm. No problem at all, I sat at the table. There were many delicious-looking items on the menu, but I ordered the following: - "Waited for this!! Kunisaki Oyster" - Polenta with salami, mozzarella cheese gratin - Homemade truffle butter hot sandwich - Moist pork pate - Adult's Napolitan spaghetti First, I had the gratin with beer. It was my first time trying polenta, so I wasn't sure at first, but the combination of salami, cheese, and crispy parts made it addictive. Next, I had fresh oysters from Oita, Japan with white wine. It was a bit salty with a hint of sea flavor, but I prefer creamy oysters from Akkeshi, Hokkaido. Then, I switched to red wine and had the moist pork pate. It was tender and flavorful, especially when paired with red wine. I also enjoyed the truffle butter hot sandwich with its nice truffle aroma. Lastly, I finished with the Napolitan spaghetti, which was delicious. I wanted to try more items on the menu, so I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal. Rating: 3.59 stars.

We used a private room with 5 people. The liver pate (exquisite and delicious) Suzuki carpaccio (interesting with kumquats and carrots) cheese assortment (with onion jam) Margherita pasta, prosciutto, sparkling red and white wine 2 bottles each. The service was good and the food was delicious. I recommend using a private room.

I wanted to try Italian food even at a popular Italian restaurant, so I decided to have dinner on a weekday. The restaurant was quite busy, with a lot of young couples. We sat at a counter seat facing the wall. The menu had seasonal recommendations and classic dishes, and the restaurant was known for its wine selection. We started with some unique dishes like marinated mackerel and peaches, sautéed squid and celery with anchovy, and potato fritters. The portions were small for the price, but the flavors were interesting. We were still hungry, so we ordered onion gratin soup, which was delicious. However, the Margherita pizza, hot sandwich, and vongole pasta were disappointing. The pizza tasted like store-bought bread, the sandwich was homey, and the pasta was overcooked. Overall, it's better to enjoy wine and appetizers slowly rather than expecting a filling meal at this restaurant.

Next, I headed to 'CANTINETTA SALUS' for my first visit (^-^)/★ Second stop ✨ 'CANTINETTA SALUS' located in Minami 3-jo Nishi 3-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. The interior has counter seats and table seats. It was 7:50 PM. A bar style where you can easily enjoy coffee roasting alone and have a casual drink ⤴️ ★ Deep-fried Atka mackerel from Nemuro with seafood and saffron sauce Sicilian style 1,400 yen (tax included) ★ Alcohol. I had Sangria for 950 yen, Chicken Liver Mousse with Crispy Bucket for 600 yen, and a Hot Sandwich with Homemade Truffle Butter for 280 yen. The Sangria had a strong fruit flavor, making it easy to drink even for those who aren't fans of wine. The warm Chicken Liver Mousse had a delicious liver taste. The Hot Sandwich was served piping hot, but I felt the truffle aroma was a bit lacking.

I was told by a sommelier living in the mainland that if you are in Sapporo, you must visit CANTINETTA SALUS. ● Italian prosciutto and fully ripened figs from the Noto Peninsula are a perfect combination with a sweet touch. The prosciutto is tender with a nice salty flavor. ● Bardolino Reboi is natural but has a deep flavor. ● The pork pate has a gentle sweetness and umami. ● The rose tomatoes offer a balance of acidity and sweetness. They are flexible in adjusting to your preferences or pairing with different dishes. You can use this restaurant for casual dining, dates, or entertaining guests. It is also a great place to treat someone special when they visit Sapporo. The sommelier here is very knowledgeable and charming. You can enjoy conversations at the counter seats when it's quiet. This is now my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend CANTINETTA SALUS.

Tanukikoji area, close to Susukino but now called Tanukikoji (lol). This restaurant is owned by a female sommelier and chef, offering high-quality Italian food at reasonable prices. However, the recently introduced Yoichi-grown mussels were disappointing and not tasty. I'm not sure about the prices, but the air-flown Brittany mussels have larger portions and better taste.

Located a 3-minute walk from Susukino Station, this restaurant is on the first floor of the G DINING building. At first, it was a bit hard to find the entrance, but it's next to the entrance on the north side of the building. The interior of the restaurant has a slightly dim and stylish bar-like atmosphere. I decided to go with sparkling wine to match the ambiance. For today's order, I had: - Italian Prosciutto ham - Fish & Chips - Porcini mushroom and Parmesan risotto - Arancini (rice croquette) - Lasagna Personally, I really enjoyed the risotto! The intense flavor of the porcini mushrooms paired perfectly with the cheese. The food and wine were delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for the meal.

It has been a while since my last visit, but the place is still bustling as usual. I had a glass of sparkling wine with terrine, caprese, oysters, burrata, prosciutto, and fried something (I forgot the name). It was perfect for a light drink. The atmosphere is comfortable and I would like to visit again even though I can't come often.

On Saturday night, three of us went out for dinner and one of us requested wine. We arrived at this place at 6:00 PM, where there were already 4 groups of 7 people. The atmosphere here is great for casual drinking with 1 person or 2-3 people. We were seated at a table opposite the counter. We started with a bottle of beer and then ordered my favorite, burrata for 1600 yen. It's a mozzarella cheese filled with chopped mozzarella and cream, a perfect combination of flavors. My wife loves it with chilled Lambrusco. We then ordered pork pate for 750 yen, which was easy to eat and had a good balance of meatiness and smoothness. The hot sandwich with homemade truffle butter for 250 yen each was delicious, with a rich truffle aroma. The pork and Ezo deer homemade sausages for 950 yen had a juicy pork flavor and a unique scent of Ezo deer. The chicken liver mousse with crispy baguette for 550 yen had a nice aroma and a mild liver taste. We had a great time drinking here, the staff was friendly and the service was excellent. It was a perfect place for a light meal and casual drinking. Thank you for the meal!
