I ordered the WAIKIKI set! For 2190 yen per person with 22 or more people, we shared a salad, eggs benedict, and pancakes, and each got two drinks! The first drink was pineapple juice. I always order it because I love Hawaiian pineapple juice! The Caesar salad with bacon was delicious! The salmon avocado eggs benedict was tasty. The strawberry pancakes were just right, not too sweet, and very gentle. It made me want to go to Hawaii again after a long time! Eating a whole dish alone seems too much, so half was just right. For the drink after the meal, I had two cups of coffee, which made me happy. However, in the end, my stomach was full... The portion was just right, and I had a pleasant time feeling like I was in Hawaii. If you go early, you can eat without waiting in line, so I will come back again to feel Hawaii without any pressure!

Located a few stops away on the monorail from Tachikawa Station, is the Lala Port Tachikawa Tachibana store. It was not too crowded during the weekday afternoon, so we were able to get in smoothly. The pancakes were delicious as always, especially with the light whipped cream on top. Personally, I haven't found anything that surpasses this whipped cream yet. The garlic shrimp and steak also gave off a Hawaiian vibe and were surprisingly good. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

I came to Lalaport to buy a birthday present for my parents, but I was feeling very hungry because I only had a light breakfast. So, I decided to have a meal at this dog-friendly restaurant where I can bring my dog. It was quite crowded as it was lunchtime, and I had to wait for over 30 minutes to be seated at the dog-friendly terrace. I was really hungry, so I ended up ordering not only pancakes but also omelette, eggs benedict, and a Cobb salad. However, I have been to this restaurant a few times before and have always been disappointed with the food. I knew that simple is best and that the pancakes are the most delicious here, but I made the same mistake again. The omelette was thin and firm, typical of Eggs 'n Things, and it was alright, but quite pricey at almost 1300 yen. The Cobb salad, which I had high hopes for, was surprisingly small in portion. And the presentation was messy and lacked elegance. For the price of 1500 yen, it was a bit disappointing. My wife enjoyed the eggs benedict she ordered, but overall, I feel that the food here is not great value for money. Despite knowing this, I still ordered it. The best option here is definitely the pancakes. I personally prefer simple, regular pancakes, but the strawberry pancake with plenty of whipped cream has a satisfying taste. Once a year, I start craving those thick and fluffy cream pancakes. Today, my child and I, along with our friends and their child, all went together. We ordered 3 pancakes, 1 omelette, grilled potatoes, poke, 2 kids' sets, 2 kids' juices, and 2 blended coffees. The total came out to over 10,000 yen! Wow, it's still so expensive. My son, who eats very little, only had the potatoes. Three pancakes were too much for me, so I ended up wanting something salty, maybe next year I'll just get 2 pancakes and add more omelettes or something. I got so tired from shopping that I decided to take a break at Eggs'n Things. It's been a while since I last visited, back in 2005 in Hawaii. I ordered the strawberry pancakes and iced coffee, and the sauces (maple, coconut, guava) were brought to me right away. After about 20 minutes, the pancakes arrived. This is what I was craving. Look at this mountain of whipped cream! The strawberries were unfortunately preserved, not fresh. The pancakes had a chewy texture and were quite satisfying even with just one piece. The whipped cream was airy and light, almost like a drink. But... I had to give up after three pancakes. I mean, I just ate 37 pieces of sushi earlier (laughs). So, I got a takeout container for 110 yen and took the remaining 2 pancakes home. They'll be perfect for my mother's lunch tomorrow. ("Tahiti? No, Tachih is the place♪")

The salad had a good bacon flavor. The Eggs Benedict had delicious sauce. They were generous with the drinks, giving each person two. The pancakes were a bit lopsided but still tasty. The pancakes were excellent, especially when soaked in maple, coconut, and guava sauce with whipped cream. If you like your pancakes moist, definitely give them a try.

Last time, I had the strawberry and whipped cream pancake which was light and easy to eat even though it was piled high. However, the pistachio cream pancake this time was not to my liking. The first time I tried it was actually in Hawaii, as I was too intimidated by the long lines in Japan when it first opened. Even now, at the Tachikawa Lalaport store, there are always long lines on weekends. However, recently the wait time has decreased, and you can usually get in without waiting too long. The sweetness of the whipped cream is mild, so you can adjust the sweetness by adding syrup. The whipped cream also melts naturally, so it's not as heavy as it looks. The interior of the restaurant has a Hawaiian atmosphere, and the staff wear Hawaiian-style uniforms, adding to the pseudo-Hawaiian experience.

I arrived at the restaurant around 2:30 PM on Sunday. There was a wait line, and I was the 5th group in line, but luckily I was seated in less than 10 minutes. I chose to sit on the terrace this time as before it was the sofa seats inside. I ordered the 100% Kona Coffee Blend Coffee Strawberry Whip Pancake. The 100% Kona coffee is known for its strong acidity, and the staff confirmed if it was okay for me to order it. The pancakes were shared between two of us. With 5 pancakes, sharing was just right, although I noticed many women eating one plate each. The whipped cream was piled high but not too sweet, so it was easy to finish. There are 3 types of sauces - guava, coconut, and maple - for flavor variation. While the blend coffee is easier to drink, the 100% Kona coffee is rare and recommended for those who like acidity. I usually can't drink coffee without milk, but I enjoyed the black coffee as is! It seems that before 11 AM, you can get free refills of the blend coffee, so I would like to try it for breakfast next time. The Eggs Benedict also looked delicious!

I walked to Eggs 'n Things at Lalaport Tachikawa Tachibana to celebrate losing 15 kilograms from being overweight. I ordered the November limited edition pancakes, which were delicious with apple and tea flavors. I had to take a slightly longer route back to burn off the calories from eating the pancakes, passing by my alma mater and walking along the Tamagawa Josui. When I got home and weighed myself, I had lost even more weight.

Two adults and one child had the Waikiki set at Eggs 'n Things. We usually end up choosing between Eggs 'n Things and JS Burger at LaLaport Tachikawa, so we don't explore other options often.

The restaurant was full, probably because summer vacation had started. I ended up choosing the bacon. I was able to switch the potatoes to pancakes for about 400 yen. The bacon was served in three large pieces. You can choose how you want your eggs cooked. The potatoes that came with the burger were delicious. For dessert, I tried a waffle for a change. Unlike pancakes, the waffle had chocolate chips on top. It made me feel like I was in Hawaii for a moment. I wish I had ordered a salad as well, as the portion size was quite generous. By the time we left, there was a line forming despite the scorching sun. We arrived around 12:00 and luckily found a seat, but I recommend going early to avoid waiting.
