Usually open only on weekends, but recently, the store has been closed on Sundays more frequently, making it effectively open only once a week. I found out on Instagram that they were open during Golden Week, so I revisited the store. - L'epicurien 600 yen: A dessert that probably cannot coexist with mille-feuille. The caramelized surface is not too strong, soft, and not too bitter. The tart base is soft, giving an overall soft and creamy texture. The apple flavor was barely noticeable. The elements are well balanced, similar to the dessert "cassette" from another store, but with a softer taste. - Fraisier 480 yen: A cake with a pistachio mousse instead of the usual cream mousseline. It has a moderate sweetness and a slightly strong pistachio flavor. The texture is light due to the coarse biscuit base. - Emotion 520 yen: A dessert with almond-flavored meringue, praline cream, chocolate biscuit, and chocolate cream. The praline flavor is prominent, complemented by the light cream. The chocolate flavor is not overpowering, creating a harmonious dessert. - Legarard 520 yen: The pistachio flavor was less strong than expected, but the chocolate was of high quality. - Salvador 520 yen: Not reviewed in this visit. - Chou Parisien 300 yen: No photo taken. - Eclair Cafe 380 yen: A light coffee-flavored eclair. - Eclair Chocolat 380 yen: A thick choux pastry with a rich chocolate cream. - Fromage Cuit 380 yen: A baked cheesecake with a mild sweetness and crumbly texture. Overall, the desserts are a bit of a gamble, so it's better to buy what's available. Mille-feuille is easier to purchase if you get a numbered ticket early. The staff, despite being only three people, provide excellent service, although their meticulousness can sometimes be misunderstood as slow operation. The detailed packaging and explanations show the human touch in their service.

I always pass by this place but couldn't buy anything by chance. Today, after taking a walk in Inokashira Park, I decided to stop by since it was much less crowded than usual. They have a wide variety of baked goods, but I headed straight to the cake showcase. Unfortunately, my favorite mille-feuille was sold out by the previous customer. I felt disappointed but managed to order Fraisier and Le Piquillan instead. I enjoyed them at home, and the Fraisier was amazing with its perfect balance of sweet and sour strawberry and creamy texture. It's the first time I've had a cake where strawberries shine so well. Despite having a generous amount of cream, it wasn't heavy at all, which surprised me. As for Le Piquillan, it's a classic chiboust, and the bittersweet caramel, sweet cream, and soft tart crust were a perfect match. I also love Atsuwayi in Nishi-Ogikubo, but I was truly impressed by the deliciousness of the cakes here, which are different from there.

Arrived around 1:30 PM on Sunday. There were 3-4 groups ahead of me. I waited for about 10 minutes before entering, but it might not be a long wait because there was only one person with a large order. I purchased a cream bun or rather a half-baked pastry with the name "Pomme Lepidurian" on it. It cost 540 yen. I ate it on a bench in Inokashira Park, and it was unbelievably delicious! The cream was extremely rich! Thank you for the meal! I will definitely go back again.

I visited the shop around 2 PM on Saturday. It was located a little off the main street, with a coin parking nearby that I used. I bought a birthday cake for my father to take out. They only accepted cash!

When I went to Kichijoji to play, I was taken to a Western confectionery shop called "Le Piquet." I had an eclair on the spot and took home croissants and other pastries. The eclair had delicious cream, was coated all the way to the surface, and provided a good amount of sugar. It was small, so it was just the right size for me. The croissants had a slightly buttery and crispy texture. They maintained a sense of tradition, which was nice. The financiers and other pastries were also delicious. If it were nearby, I would like to go occasionally to buy tea snacks.

Located near Kichijoji Marui, this place seems to be closed for now. The various items displayed in the showcase are all on the smaller side. I tried the "Eclair Cafe," "Macarons (Vanilla and Raspberry)," "Pain au Raisin," "Nougat," and the famous "Mille-feuille." Both the eclair and the mille-feuille have a rich sweetness to them. However, they are quite delicious. They both have fresh fruits on top, which help balance out the richness with a hint of acidity. Overall, they were quite enjoyable. Thank you for the meal!

On Saturdays at 2:30 PM, I waited for 15 minutes before being able to enter the shop with a maximum capacity of 6 people. The Opera and Chocolate Eclair were delicious. The shop is located a 2-minute walk from Kichijoji Station and accepts cash only. It is a popular patisserie in Kichijoji, known as one of the top 100 sweets shops on Tabelog. They are only open on weekends, starting at 12 PM, but they start selling fresh pastries from 1 PM. The Millefeuille is a popular item, usually available around 2 PM. On the day of my visit, there were plenty of Eclairs left before 3 PM. The Eclair had a perfect balance of chocolate coating on the outside and rich chocolate cream inside, while the Opera had a strong coffee mousse cream flavor with hints of chocolate and liquor.

I stopped by with a friend while shopping at a sweets shop in Kichijoji that is usually not open for business. It was Saturday at 4:20 pm and they only offered takeout as the café area was closed off. They had a variety of small caramels, cakes, bread, and baked goods. The customers seemed to be mostly local residents, with elegant ladies who seemed experienced in shopping. The staff kindly explained the items, and I ended up getting a mille-feuille for ¥660, a croissant for ¥300, and a brioche for ¥147. The croissant was crispy, the brioche had a light texture, and the mille-feuille had a luxurious taste with layers of crispy pastry and delicious cream. Kichijoji has many delicious shops, but I think this sweets shop stands out as one of the best. I look forward to trying more of their offerings.

My daughter said that this place is the number one cake shop in Kichijoji. We bought a cake for my husband's birthday celebration. We arrived around 2:00 PM on Sunday, but there were already 4 people waiting outside because the shop can only accommodate up to 6 people inside. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were finally able to enter the shop. The staff was handling everything by themselves, so it took a bit longer for them to provide explanations and pack the cakes. Despite that, we were lucky to be able to buy a Mille-feuille on our first visit. We bought various types of cakes and tasted them with our family. The cakes were not too sweet and very delicious. The refined sweetness, acidity, and texture were outstanding. The only downside was that the sizes were a bit small. All the cakes were so delicious that one person could enjoy a whole cake without getting tired of it.

Today I tried a different version of mille-feuille called Romeo. The appearance is not much different from the usual mille-feuille, but how does it taste? Surprisingly, the flavor is dominated by chocolate. The smooth cream between the layers of pastry and chocolate does a great job of creating a cohesive cake. It's like a luxurious version of Lotte Pie!! I apologize for the comparison being too common, but it might be surprisingly close. It's sweet (but not too sweet) and delicious dessert! Thanks to the chocolate, it's filling and satisfying! I wonder what I should try next...

When I arrived at this shop, it was still before opening hours. I had about 10 minutes until opening time, so I decided to pass the time by going to Marui. There were shops selling chopped salads, bagels, and fruit tarts. I got so engrossed in looking around that before I knew it, it was already opening time. I hurried back and found that there was already a line! I waited for a while before entering. The shop can accommodate up to 6 people at a time. Right after opening, they mainly sell baked goods like pastries and bread. Cakes are usually available starting from 1 pm. When I went, they only had eclairs, cream puffs, and one type of cake (fruit and cheesecake). I bought a brioche, croissant, macaron, and madeleine. I tried the brioche and croissant. The brioche felt delicate to me. It was small, so it disappeared quickly. It had a subtle sweetness and a mild buttery taste. The croissant had a nice buttery flavor that was noticeable as it passed through my nose. It was delicious! The glossy surface gave it a good croissant texture! It was a shame that I couldn't see the cakes.

I lined up for about 20 minutes before 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon. They were out of mille-feuille, but they had a good selection of cakes. I bought a fraisier and enjoyed it on a bench in Inokashira Park. It was rich and satisfying. I also bought canelé and sablé citron, looking forward to trying them!

I had been wanting to eat it for a long time and finally got to try it! The cakes lined up in the case all looked lovely and delicious, with a slightly small size. I don't usually eat cake much, but after taking a bite, all I could say was "delicious." The sweetness is elegant and the texture of the cake is firm. I think people would be happy to receive it as a gift. I would like to try it again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I went around 1:20 PM on Saturday. There were about 10 people in line, and around 1:40 PM, they started selling mille-feuille. Some people who had a numbered ticket were able to enter the store and make a purchase. Because it was raining, I didn't have to wait long and was able to buy around 2 PM. The mille-feuille was delicious and I could eat it in one bite.

In GW, I happened to pass by Chukyo and there was no line, and they even had mille-feuille! What a miracle! To reserve items, you need to buy 3 cakes and pay in advance. I bought 2 mille-feuilles and 1 cream puff, reserved them, and picked them up at 5 pm.

- Millefeuille with Raspberry ¥648 - Fraisier ¥508 - Sfogliatella ¥432 - Gateau Basque ¥300 - Caramel Earl Grey ¥108 - Caramel Chantilly ¥290 This famous patisserie in Kichijoji quickly became my favorite because the pastries are quite delicious. The Millefeuille is popular, so I was lucky to get one around 5 pm, as they start selling out by 2 pm. The wait was about 30 minutes, especially because it was Golden Week. The Millefeuille was truly the best I've ever had in my life. The vibrant sweetness and sourness of the raspberries paired perfectly with the smooth cream. The Gateau Basque and Caramel were also outstanding. The Gateau Basque had a light rum flavor and a rich creamy center. The Caramel was thick and satisfying. Overall, the pastries were reasonably priced and of high quality. The variety was extensive, making it a fun place to visit. I am delighted to have found this favorite pastry shop. Thank you for the delicious treats! ☺️

Contact information: Payment is cash only. On Sunday at 5:00 pm, it's available! After finishing errands nearby, I happened to pass by Le Piquirian, which always has a long line, and it's empty today!! It's a Sunday after 5:00 pm. There are about 8-10 people waiting outside. Really lucky! There are usually twice as many people. I didn't think I could buy the most popular mille-feuille, but they had just baked some extra right before I arrived!! Can you believe how lucky that is? Seriously? I couldn't help but smile at the lady behind me and say, "Lucky, right?" Ah, Kichijoji is such a great town!! I forgot about the slight chill in the air and felt warm all of a sudden. I entered the store, looked at the display window, and waited in line while contemplating. The mille-feuille appeared like magic! Oh, they also had my favorite canelés! The chocolate canelé was gone right in front of me, but I got two canelés, two mille-feuilles, and some cookies. So satisfied. Oh, the expiration date is today? Well, nothing I can do about it. It's already 10:00 pm, but it has to be today. Gotta eat them because they're delicious!! When should I line up next time?

On Saturday and Sunday around 1 PM, there were about 5 groups of people waiting in line. I was able to place my order in about 15 minutes. I purchased the following items: - Le Picurien (590 yen): Smooth and moderately soft texture with a fruity flavor and sweet fruit jam inside. Recommended for fruit lovers. - Opera (480 yen): Contains alcohol, with a strong chocolate flavor and sweetness that chocolate lovers will adore. - Pomme Le Picurien (450 yen): Similar to Le Picurien, with a layer of sweet apple inside the pie crust. Personally, I preferred this over the other option. I didn't get to try the mille-feuille this time, but I would like to challenge it again in the future. Thank you for the meal.

I finally had the chance to visit this place on the weekend, as it is only open on weekends. I was mainly interested in trying their mille-feuille, but I also wanted to try other items on the menu. The location was easy to find due to the long line outside. I waited for about an hour before I could make a purchase. The packaging took a while, but when I opened the box at home, the cake was slightly damaged. The taste was good, but not outstanding. My favorite was the mille-feuille. The eclair was too sweet for my liking, but the other items were delicious. The prices were around ¥500, which I found to be reasonable for the quality. Overall, I would visit again if it was more convenient.

Sweets Top 100 Stores TOKYO 41/100 is open only on Saturdays and Sundays, and their popular Mille-feuille cannot be reserved in advance. It is baked between 14:00 and 15:00, and you need to wait in line to purchase it. Arriving at the shop at 14:20 on a Saturday, there were 3 people waiting outside as the maximum capacity inside is 6 people. At 14:25, the line stopped moving as we entered the shop, where the Mille-feuille was being transferred from the workshop to the showcase. Each tray seemed to have around 20 pieces, and customers could buy up to 3 pieces each. The shop does not allow photos inside or accept damaged goods. I purchased Le Piquillan, Choux Cream, Fraisier, Galette Bretonne, Mille-feuille, Canele, and Madeleine, and left the shop at 14:42. The Mille-feuille had multiple layers of crispy pastry with a creamy custard and raspberry filling, just as rumored. The Canele had a crunchy exterior and a soft, flavorful interior. The Le Piquillan had a caramelized top with a light, fluffy custard-like texture. The Tart had a crispy base with apple accents in the custard cream. The Choux Cream had a crunchy shell with a rich, yet light custard filling. The Fraisier had a pistachio custard that paired well with the tangy strawberries. Overall, it was a delicious experience, and I highly recommend visiting this shop at the right time to enjoy their delectable treats.

Last time, I could only buy mille-feuille, so this time I visited to buy a different product. I lined up around 2 PM, and was able to enter the store around 3 PM. There was quite a line, and it took some people 20 minutes from entering to finishing payment and leaving. When I entered, many cakes were already sold out. Today, I bought ① mille-feuille, ② shortcake, and ③ chocolate cake. ① Mille-feuille: The pie itself is delicious. It's crispy with a sweet cream that has a hint of acidity. The cream has a tangy taste, but also a good level of sweetness, just perfect! It's sweet but not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. ② Shortcake: Unlike mille-feuille, there is no acidity, just a straight sweetness. I can't really explain it, but it's really just the right amount of sweetness. I finished it while trying to figure out the taste. ③ Chocolate cake: It has a rich chocolate flavor without being too heavy. It's sweet and delicious. The sponge is also sweet, with a satisfying and just right level of sweetness. Honestly, all three are really delicious, with a "just right sweetness" and a "complex taste balance." I can't describe it any other way. It's the taste I wanted, and I can't express how delicious it is. There is no other place where I have found all three to be so delicious. I will definitely buy again. It's just too delicious.
