I ordered the Lunch Seafood Bowl for ¥1400. The interior of the restaurant is clean and calm, making it a nice place to relax. As for the taste... visually, there were a variety of toppings including sea urchin and salmon roe, making it look luxurious. However, the slices were thin and quite ordinary. But for this price, I am satisfied. I may not come back again though...

The first floor is a shop that sells fresh seafood and I visit quite often, but I visited the sushi restaurant on the second floor for the first time. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a friendly sushi chef, which gave me a good impression. I ordered a seafood bowl and tried it! Unfortunately, there was no wasabi! For people like me who can speak up, it's easy to say "Can I have some wasabi?" but not everyone can do that, so please be careful. The taste was fresh with no fishy smell. The sea urchin, in particular, was delicious. I think each piece of sea urchin was around 800 yen, so it's a very good deal for lunch. On my way out, the chef was friendly and I definitely want to go back.

Located in the basement of the station building directly connected to JR Kinshicho Station South Exit, this restaurant is a representative seafood store in Kinshicho, famous for selling tuna and octopus by weight since its establishment in 1967. The store opened an Ekimae branch in 2019, offering sushi and seafood bowls for casual dining, but due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the eat-in option was discontinued. Currently, they sell takeout sushi and seafood bowls prepared in-store. The "Fishmonger's Assorted Sushi (top)" includes popular toppings such as tuna, salmon, squid, and scallops. The toppings are thick, fresh, satisfying, and delicious - truly authentic fishmonger's sushi.

Kinshicho has a fresh fish shop and a high-end sushi restaurant. Today's lunch venue is the eat-in area at the deli counter in Termini. Arriving at 10:50, there are no other customers. I decide to go for a 10-piece sushi set, which costs 1320 yen including tax. I pay at the register, take my card and receipt to my seat. I realize they make the food after you order, rather than having pre-made items. I wish they had beer to go with this! Oh wait, there's a beer dispenser! But alcohol sales start at 11 am. The sushi chef uses a robot to make the rice, but still shapes the sushi by hand. The rice is firm and the fish is cold and slightly thick-cut. It's not much different from conveyor belt sushi, but this is definitely better.

In Kinshicho, when you mention Uotora, they are famous for selling tuna sashimi by weight. The prices are cheap, and it's popular among small restaurant owners who come to buy it, so there is always a line. Uotora opened a dining area in the basement of a station building. After choosing your dish at the counter (7 seats), you pay at a separate register and then take your seat, which is a bit unusual. It may be because it's located on the floor that handles fresh food and side dishes. The seafood bowl served was as luxurious as the image. From the large shrimp sitting in the center to the fresh and thick slices of fish, everything looked delicious. The squid was sweet and sticky, and the yellowtail was tasty. The fact that the eel was "grilled" instead of stewed seems to suit this bowl. The tuna, which is the specialty of the restaurant, was also delicious. It's a bit unsettling with shoppers passing by behind you, but the taste is undeniable.

There is a branch of Uotora located on the basement floor of Terumi at the south exit of JR Kinshicho Station. I visited this place because on holidays, you can't eat seafood bowls at the south exit Uotora (you can on weekdays). I arrived at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and sat in the eating area inside the department store. Due to the post-corona situation, I was able to sit down smoothly. I ordered sushi and a seafood bowl, each costing around 1,300 yen. As expected from Uotora, the ingredients were fresh as shown in the photos, and the cost-performance ratio was good. In Tokyo, you can enjoy high cost-performance and eat good quality food. I would like to visit again.

The Fish Shop is located on the underground floor of Terumina in Kinshicho. Fish Torano is a very popular fish shop with a main store right outside the station, where people line up to buy fish. I have been a regular customer for a long time, buying sushi, sashimi, and various other fish products. On this day, I stopped by to buy lunch at Terumina and the sushi I bought was delicious as always. Despite hearing that the popularity of fish has been declining recently, I feel like this shop is unaffected by such trends.

JR Kinshicho Station South Exit, there is an eat-in area of Uotora on the basement floor of the station building "Termina". It reopened on November 13, 2019, with Uotora, a well-known fresh fish store in Kinshicho, as a tenant, with a small eat-in area with only 7 counter seats. The interior uses warm lighting and white wood counters, giving a luxurious feel. The menu includes seafood bowls and sushi, with prices displayed on the menu behind the counter with barcodes attached. Customers take the barcode to the central cash register for payment, then bring the receipt to their counter seat. Termina is a JR East station building, so you can earn JR East points. I tried the Uotora nigiri (1,320 yen), which includes maguro, buri, ebi, ika, hotate, salmon, anago, ikura, and tamago. The maguro uses both lean and fatty parts of mebachi maguro, while the buri was particularly delicious with a good texture and flavor. The ebi was large and flavorful, the ika was finely sliced with a rich umami taste, and the hotate, from Hokkaido, was slightly small but tasty. The salmon was fatty, the anago was plump and sweet, the ikura was authentic, and the tamago was sweet. Overall, the quality and price were reasonable, making it a good choice for a casual sushi meal.

Fish Toraji is a shop located in Terumina B1 Terumarche. The ordering system may be a bit confusing as you need to pay at the Terumina register with the menu card from the shop front, then hand the card and receipt to the staff inside the counter. Most customers seem to get this wrong (lol). I ordered the Toraji Nigiri (opening sale price of 1100 yen) which includes 9 pieces with egg omelette. The fish is fresh and the anago (conger eel) is large, which is nice. The miso soup with seaweed is flavorful. The shop has a casual atmosphere with only 7 counter seats, perfect for sushi and seafood bowl.

The fish market in Kinshicho has a sushi restaurant chain that sells sashimi and nigiri sushi made from fresh fish. They also offer bara chirashi sushi and seafood bowls, and you can pay at the central register on the B1F of Terumi. They have ice boxes so they can pack your order in a plastic bag with ice packs. The seafood bowl toppings include tuna, amberjack, salmon, shrimp, squid, boiled anago, soy sauce-marinated ikura, and sliced egg, all fresh and generously portioned. The tuna comes in 2 pieces. The sushi rice has just the right amount of vinegar, making it very enjoyable. The seafood bowl was a great deal at ¥750.
