JR Kinshicho Station South Exit, there is an eat-in area of Uotora on the basement floor of the station building "Termina". It reopened on November 13, 2019, with Uotora, a well-known fresh fish store in Kinshicho, as a tenant, with a small eat-in area with only 7 counter seats. The interior uses warm lighting and white wood counters, giving a luxurious feel. The menu includes seafood bowls and sushi, with prices displayed on the menu behind the counter with barcodes attached. Customers take the barcode to the central cash register for payment, then bring the receipt to their counter seat. Termina is a JR East station building, so you can earn JR East points. I tried the Uotora nigiri (1,320 yen), which includes maguro, buri, ebi, ika, hotate, salmon, anago, ikura, and tamago. The maguro uses both lean and fatty parts of mebachi maguro, while the buri was particularly delicious with a good texture and flavor. The ebi was large and flavorful, the ika was finely sliced with a rich umami taste, and the hotate, from Hokkaido, was slightly small but tasty. The salmon was fatty, the anago was plump and sweet, the ikura was authentic, and the tamago was sweet. Overall, the quality and price were reasonable, making it a good choice for a casual sushi meal.
