A crepe breakfast at a cafe where you can bring your dog♪ Dogs are only allowed on the terrace, so it might be a little cold during this season. But they provide blankets, so if you wrap your dog in one, it should be fine! It would be even better if they had heating. We ordered one savory dish and one sweet dish. The savory dish we tried was called "Tiki Torch," which had roast chicken and vegetables with basil macadamia sauce. The crepe was crispy and thick, filled with plenty of ingredients. It was absolutely delicious and just to my liking. The sweet dish we tried was "French Intox," which was recommended by a handsome staff member. If you prefer something not too sweet, this is a good choice. I love figs, so I chose this one, but it was a bit different from what I imagined. However, it had an adult-like taste and was delicious! The crepe was thinner and chewy, not crispy like the Tiki Torch. The figs were cooked in red wine, and there was a hint of blue cheese here and there. Inside, there were plenty of walnuts, which added a nice texture. Despite being a sweet dish, it made me feel like having it with wine. I wasn't a big fan of galettes, so I was unsure about this place, but it turned out to be different from galettes and really delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, and the staff members are friendly. There are also handsome staff members here ( ̄∀ ̄)笑

Today, 2/2 is "Chandeleur," a Christian Candlemas celebration, and in France, it's Crepe Day. Two popular shops in Jiyugaoka, "Crepes No Ka 'Oi TOKYO" and "MAGIE DU CHOCOLAT," are collaborating to release two limited-time products from 1/20 to 3/14, available at Crepes No Ka'Oi TOKYO. Crepes No Ka'Oi TOKYO is a crepe house run by a couple named Kakei and Chris in Kailua on the east coast of Oahu, which has now opened in Jiyugaoka. It combines French crepes with the Hawaiian breeze. MAGIE DU CHOCOLAT is a popular chocolate specialty store that sells chocolate confectionery made by Chef Matsumuro, who is particular about bean-to-bar chocolate. I ordered the ⭐️Chocolat Chocolat Chocolat for 2,200 yen. This special cocoa crepe batter is paired with the luxurious cream used in the popular Chou Chocolat at MAGIE DU CHOCOLAT. This cream is made by combining carefully cooked smooth custard with selected 70% Ghanaian chocolate and adding fresh cream to create a rich yet light texture. Fine powdered chocolate is added for a fun texture, and macadamia nuts and freshly shaved chocolate made from carefully selected cocoa are used as toppings. Vanilla ice cream is served with cocoa honey on the side. The exquisite combination of rich vanilla ice cream and the refreshing aftertaste of Ghanaian cocoa and honey is delightful. I also ordered the ⭐️Cacao Tea for 750 yen. This drink, made by boiling cocoa husks, has a subtle cocoa aroma similar to black tea. Enjoy it straight first, then add sugar and finally milk to change the flavor while savoring the cacao tea. Cacao tea is a beverage made from roasting cocoa bean husks, and when hot water is poured over it, cocoa butter appears on the surface. Enjoy it straight first, then add two sugar cubes, and finally, the addition of milk allows you to taste the chocolate flavor and experience the changes in flavor from cacao.

I visited around 10 o'clock on Saturday. I was able to get in smoothly, but it was full afterwards. It's a popular restaurant. The egg Benedict with soft eggs, cheese, and ham on a galette was delicious. The dough was also tasty. The crepe dough was soft, and the banana strawberry cream was delicious and went well together. A great meal for breakfast. Thank you for the meal.

Had breakfast at Crepes No Ka'Oi. Ordered the "Kanoa," which is limited to 10 servings on weekdays. Chose soup over yogurt, and today's cold pumpkin soup was delicious. Coffee refills were available until 10:30, and they brought out coffee and Sriracha chili sauce first. The Kanoa had a delicious hollandaise sauce on top, with a soft-boiled egg in the center. I should have cut into the center first to let the egg yolk spread. The crispy outer shell and mozzarella cheese were tasty, but the soft-boiled egg in the center was quite runny, making it even more delicious when combined with the crispy shell and cheese. The ham was also a nice addition, and I tried a bit of the Thai Sriracha sauce on it, adding a nice kick. The salad consisted of tomatoes, walnuts, baby leaf lettuce, and spinach. The cold pumpkin soup was refreshing, especially with the strong air conditioning in the restaurant. It was still hot outside, so the hot coffee was a good choice. The crepe batter is cooked on a large round griddle, so it can get hot in the kitchen. The staff were friendly and offered a coffee refill with a smile. The atmosphere was calming with Hawaiian music playing softly in the background. Overall, it was a relaxing experience. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Jiyugaoka Station to arrive at the shop. As the name suggests, the specialty here is crepes. The appearance is great, and the crepes are cooked just right with a perfect level of sweetness that you can enjoy eating anytime.

I visited around 3 pm on a regular day. All tables were full, so I sat at the counter seat facing the wall. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was livelier than I expected, with people chatting and laughing. Hawaiian music was playing softly in the background, creating a relaxed vibe. I wanted to try a sweet crepe, so I ordered the Cinnamon Apple. It was deliciously sweet, but since it was just the crepe, I ended up craving coffee towards the end. I'd like to try a savory crepe next time.

I aimed for the limited 10 breakfast sets for 1080 yen on weekdays! You can choose between salad, yogurt, or soup. It also comes with a drink, so it's a great deal! The crepe was crispy and delicious, perfect with the side dishes. It was a great breakfast.

I ordered the morning set limited to 10 servings on weekdays. It came with mini crepes in Eggs Benedict flavor, salad, soup or yogurt, and a drink (coffee refills are free) for only 1080 yen, so it's a great deal. The Hawaiian atmosphere of the restaurant was very relaxing. It was the best breakfast, so I want to go back next time to try the sweet crepes!

Lunch on Tuesday. A meal crepe! There were many types to choose from, but I decided on the Ultimate menu with cheese and meat. It's a meal crepe wrapped in a thin crepe skin, filled with potatoes, eggs, bacon, cheese, and onions. It all comes together nicely and tastes delicious. The rosemary aroma is nice! The grain mustard and the red sauce that came with it added a good kick. However, to be honest, it might be a bit pricey... I couldn't help but think that for the same price, I could have had a tasty pizza with similar fillings. Maybe sweet crepes would have been better after all. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived a little before 1 pm. The terrace seats were empty due to the heat, but the inside was crowded. The majority of customers were women, with many mothers with children. Although the dessert crepes looked good, I was hungry so I chose based on the volume. I ordered the seasonal limited edition Noka Oifumusu for 1880 yen. The crepe looked nicely crispy and appetizing. The plate had an elegant color scheme, with an interesting appearance of what looked like gold leaf on the edge of the plate. I was expecting a Middle Eastern flavor due to the name Noka Oifumusu, but it was not like that. It leaned more towards a Caponata-like ingredient with a strong Italian impression. It was filled with plenty of vegetables, making it very nutritious. The texture of the crepe was slightly firm, perhaps because it was a meal-type crepe. Towards the end, I added the chili sauce on the table for a change in flavor. It suddenly transformed into a Mexican style, which was also delicious.

"Nokaoi" means "the best" in Hawaii, so saying "crepe is the best!" is like saying that. They have Kona coffee for coffee and Bud Light for beer, which gives a Hawaiian vibe. The crepe was soft and fluffy, but I prefer it crispy or chewy, so I deducted some points. We ordered a Banana Split for 1,580 yen and a Lover's Delight with vanilla ice cream for 1,930 yen, along with two iced coffees. The Banana Split was not too sweet and was a good size. The granola nuts added a crunchy texture to the soft crepe and bananas. The Lover's Delight was a bit too sweet for me, but my partner loved it. They also have a variety of meal options. The crepe batter goes well with the fillings. Thank you for the meal!

Located about a 5-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station, this shop had a Hawaiian-inspired interior. When I visited for lunch on a weekday, the seats were almost full. Luckily, I got in without waiting, but it quickly became full after I arrived. It might be super crowded on weekends...? The menu here consists entirely of crepes! There are two categories: meal crepes and dessert crepes. I ordered "The Godfather," which has cheddar, mozzarella, basil, tomato, and macadamia nuts in homemade basil sauce. For an extra ¥200, you can change from a crepe to a galette, which I did because I like galettes. I sat at the counter and could see the crepes being made right in front of me. When the galette arrived, it looked so delicious! The appearance was stylish, and the taste was perfect! The texture was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The "Godfather" was like a Margherita pizza but healthier, which made me very happy. There was Tabasco on the table for flavor variation, so I didn't get bored until the end. The prices are a bit high, but with this taste, it's worth it! However, the service attitude of the staff was a bit lacking. That could be improved... Overall, it was a great meal! Thank you (*^^*)

Located a 5-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station, Nokaoi is a chic and elegant space with a predominantly white interior. The best part is that they have pet-friendly terrace seating! We visited with a group of 3 around 11:30 am on a weekday. The restaurant, which has 35 seats, was about half full so we were seated promptly. They offer morning service from 8 am, which is great! We ordered the Tikitoche for 1680 yen (with a change to buckwheat flour). It came with a basil sauce made with macadamia nuts, spinach and baby greens, roast chicken, tomatoes, sautéed onions, and balsamic vinegar. It was my first time trying a galette with basil sauce, and it surprisingly tasted really good! However, I was a bit disappointed that the galette had a chewy texture instead of being crispy. I realized that galettes go well with almost any pizza toppings, so I might try making it at home. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the food.【Tabelog】3.48 (as of August 2023)

Located in Jiyugaoka and Futakotamagawa, this place offers a seasonal limited edition dish, the Noka Oi Hummus for 1880 yen. The hummus is very generous in portion size! It left me feeling full and satisfied. #Jiyugaoka #JiyugaokaCafe #JiyugaokaGourmet #JiyugaokaLunch #Crepes #MeguroGourmet #TokyoGourmet #TokyoLunch #Foodies #FoodieCommunity #FoodLovers #MutualFollow

The location and atmosphere were great, but the interior was really cold. Is that also supposed to be Hawaiian style? The food was delicious, but I felt like the cost performance was not good. Considering the likely low cost of ingredients, paying over 2,000 yen per person with coffee included seemed expensive. It may be due to the location, but I wish it was a bit cheaper.

It's July 2023, and I had soba noodles for lunch but my stomach wasn't satisfied, so I craved something sweet and decided to try crepes. I wandered away from the soba shop and ended up here, on the way to Okusawa. They serve crepes that you can eat with a knife and fork, suitable for a meal, but since I had already eaten, I chose a dessert crepe with bananas and granola, labeled as "healthy". I also ordered a non-alcoholic mojito. The crepe that arrived was quite large. It had a chewy skin sprinkled with crunchy granola, filled with plenty of bananas and cream. Despite being a dessert, it wasn't too sweet. The chewy skin made it a bit heavy, but not bad. The non-alcoholic mojito had a refreshing mint scent. It may not be suitable for those looking for a light crepe, but it's perfect for those seeking a hearty one. Pets are allowed on the terrace seats. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I felt like having a galette, so I visited this place! Although the base is usually a crepe, you can switch to a galette for an additional 200 yen. There were a variety of options, from savory to sweet. We shared 4 among 3 people and were very satisfied. In particular, the galette with a Caribbean (related to Cuba...) inspired name had seasoned meat inside and was very flavorful.

The staff at the shop were friendly and kind with bright smiles. The menu includes square items which are sweet crepes. The most popular sweet item contains strawberries, bananas, and chocolate, resembling tiramisu. I opted for a light meal crepe with a small portion of main dish. I chose one with ham and cheese, with the salty flavor of the yellow cheese standing out. It was delicious as it is, but also fun to try with the salsa sauce and Thai chili sauce provided on the side. The milk in the hot coffee was rich and paired well with the coffee. I am grateful for being able to enjoy a light and tasty meal to avoid getting sleepy in the afternoon.

I visited this famous crepe shop in Jiyugaoka for lunch on the weekend. The place was about 80% full and it was clear that it was a popular spot as customers kept coming in. I ordered the Temptation in Paradise for 1480 yen and a soy latte for 640 yen. It was a crepe with cinnamon apples, whole wheat crackers, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce. Hmm, maybe my expectations were too high, but it left me with a so-so impression. It was not sweet enough and felt a bit lacking. Considering the price, I felt the cost performance was just okay. The interior of the shop was bright and clean.

I visited on a Saturday evening and was able to get in without waiting. I ordered the Godfather pizza, which was healthy and stylish, like a Margherita. The crust was chewy and delicious. They have a lot of savory crepes here, so it's great that my husband, who doesn't want dessert as a main meal, can come along. Next time, I want to come for lunch and try the sweet options.

Second visit. Last time I had a savory crepe, but this time I chose a sweet one. The photo didn't turn out very bright, but the crepe with wine-soaked figs, walnuts, and honey was a perfect combination. The terrace seating on a sunny day is truly refreshing, so I'd love to come back on a sunny day. Thank you for the meal.

It is convenient that they open early in the morning, but reservations are not available. I have been to the locations in Seijo Gakuenmae, Jiyugaoka, and Futakotamagawa, and Seijo Gakuenmae is the largest. They also have terrace seating. In the summer, it can be difficult because the sun cannot be blocked.
