Looking for delicious deep-fried skewers, I visited Agarukome, which is just a short walk from Ebisu Station. The menu offers a wide variety of skewers, as well as other dishes, and a great selection of alcoholic beverages. I opted for the eight-skewer course and also tried the recommended Uni and Ikura Mayo and the sashimi platter. The Uni and Ikura Mayo was delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs topped with plenty of Uni and Ikura. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. As for the skewers, the deep-fried angel prawn and the rare-cooked beef skewer were outstanding. The salmon with ikura and grated daikon was my favorite, with a perfect combination of flavors. The skewers were all delicious, including the unique mountain yam and prawn wrapped in yuba. I also tried additional skewers like the beef sukiyaki with spring chrysanthemum, oyster tartare, and duck with leeks. The deep-fried skewers were light and not greasy, thanks to the healthy rice oil used. I enjoyed the meal without feeling heavy or guilty. Overall, I was satisfied with the delicious food and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. I would love to visit again, either alone or with friends.

This is a newly opened tempura restaurant located right near Ebisu Station. I always think that tempura is a very delicious dish that offers great taste at a reasonable price, but I usually eat at Kushiage Tanaka. So, I was looking forward to trying a different restaurant this time. The reasonable price of tempura, which is one of its good points, is still present even when considering the location in Ebisu. It's nice to get 9 pieces for just a little over 3000 yen. Each piece has a great flavor, and you can enjoy them with different sauces and dips. The only drawback I felt was the time it took to serve all 9 items. We arrived at 16:30, but it took about 2.5 hours to finish. It was a bit too long. The staff were working hard, so I think it may have been due to the capacity of the frying area when the number of customers increased. If they don't improve this, the turnover won't improve either, so I hope they address this issue to become an even better restaurant. Looking forward to further growth in the future!

Had a dinner meeting at the newly opened Agarukome in Ebisu in June this year. We had a 16-piece skewer course. The skewers are fried in rice oil, which may not be the healthiest choice. The 16 skewers were too many, plus we ordered 4-5 side dishes and udon for dessert, which left us feeling very full. The udon was a bit salty. One of the two toilets was out of order, and the other one was broken too, with no paper towels available. The bill was surprisingly high, either because we ordered too much or the drinks were expensive. Overall, it was a bit pricey. I had a toast with my colleague over an 8-piece tempura course. I thought we might need to order more, but the portions were quite generous. The tempura was light in texture, possibly due to the rice oil. Among them, the shrimp and salmon were particularly delicious. It seemed like a fairly new restaurant, and the service was a bit chaotic, but the young staff members were doing their best. The clientele was mostly young, but it's a place where adults can also enjoy delicious food. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere is stylish and the food is delicious. The main dish is deep-fried skewers, but other dishes were also tasty. It would be nice if there were a combination platter in addition to course or individual skewers. There is a wide variety of skewers to choose from, ranging from classic to unique options. We ordered food for 5 people and 4-5 drinks per person, and the total bill was around 7,000 yen per person. It's a nice place with a good vibe to enjoy delicious food in Ebisu. The speed of alcohol service is a bit slow, and sometimes you may wonder if your order has been forgotten, but the service is polite.

I didn't really like the sashimi, but the other dishes were delicious! The kushikatsu was not greasy and had a light finish, I even had 10 skewers. In addition, I enjoyed the bagna cauda, tomato salad, and a dish with uni and ikura on top of eggs.

After finishing work, I went to a beauty salon and on my way back, I stopped by Ebisu and found a new-looking restaurant so I decided to check it out. The restaurant had both counter and table seats, which was rare for a kushikatsu place, and the interior was very clean. I ordered a course of several skewers. Some had ikura on top, some were like gratin, and there were creative variations which made it enjoyable. The kushikatsu was not outstanding, but it was tasty enough, and I think it's a nice place to come with friends for a drink as the restaurant is clean and pleasant.

The "Kushiage Agarukome" in Ebisu that I visited yesterday is a hidden gem where you can enjoy exquisite kushiage fried in rice oil. Not only the delicious food, but also the sophisticated atmosphere inside the restaurant is charming, making it suitable for dates or girls' night out. The highlight is definitely the kushiage. Priced at 250 yen per skewer, the quality is surprisingly high. The kushiage fried in rice oil has a light texture that brings out the umami of the ingredients. Especially the salmon with grated ikura and the yam and shrimp wrapped in yuba are so delicious that you'll want to order more! Other menu items like miso dengaku and sea urchin with salmon roe and mayo were also outstanding. The variety of drinks is extensive, and the orange wine was particularly delicious. The unique design of the glasses also makes for great Instagram photos! The attentive staff provide detailed explanations as each skewer is served. There are three courses available with 8, 12, or 16 skewers. This popular restaurant requires reservations, but the delicious food and sophisticated atmosphere make it a place you'll want to visit again. I am truly grateful to my gourmet friend for recommending this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant with my mother for dinner. Located on the 4th floor of a building near Ebisu Station, it has excellent access. This place is brand new, having opened in June! Here, you can enjoy delicious deep-fried skewers fried in rice oil. The drink menu includes a wide range of options such as whiskey, shochu, sake, and fruit liquor. There are also red, white, and orange glass wines, so you can enjoy a variety of pairings with the skewers. We toasted with a soda mix of thick mandarin orange liquor. It was delicious, not too sweet, with plenty of mandarin fruit. The assorted skewer course comes in 8, 12, or 16 pieces. Since the side dishes were also appealing, we ordered the 8-piece course, with the option to add more depending on our appetite. We started with a bagna cauda appetizer. The batter on the angel prawn skewers was very fine, and using rice oil gave them a light texture that didn't mask the flavor of the ingredients. The texture and sweetness of the prawns were delicious, especially with the miso in the head - such a luxury touch! We enjoyed the red eggplant in dashi soy sauce. The eggplant was very juicy, soaking up the dashi broth beautifully. The sauce complemented the luscious eggplant perfectly. The salmon and salmon roe grated daikon skewer was the best! The moist, fatty salmon with the popping texture of the salmon roe was delightful, with just the right amount of saltiness. The deep-fried whole asparagus skewer was a highlight of skewer cuisine! The sweet and crunchy asparagus with the spicy mustard sauce was just right. The sea urchin and salmon roe with mayo was as delicious as its name suggests! It had a hint of truffle-like aroma. The rich uni and popping salmon roe alone were fantastic, and adding the egg flavor made it even better! We also tried the soft cream mochi from a cheese shop, which was a limited-time offer for Instagram followers. Everything was delicious! The deep-fried skewers fried in rice oil were crispy without the guilt or indigestion the next day. With different ways to enjoy the food, it felt like we were trying a variety of dishes. I would love to try more skewers next time! It's already quite popular, so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

I went to a restaurant with a close friend to enjoy healthy kushiage fried in rice oil. As soon as we got off the elevator, we entered a stylish space with no doors. We ordered the 16-piece kushiage course and a few other dishes. I highly recommend the Uni Ikura with Half-Cooked Egg and Special Truffle Mayo. The flavor of the truffle mayo is amazing! The uni and ikura are plentiful, and all this for only 680 yen is a steal! The sashimi assortment was also great, with thick slices of fresh sea bream and plenty of uni. Eating it with the onion garnish really brought out the flavors. The 16-piece kushiage course allows you to enjoy each skewer with recommended seasonings, making it a fantastic way to experience the flavors of Agarukome. The portion size was ample, and the freshly fried crispy texture was excellent. In particular, the jumbo shrimp, chicken thigh with ginger, salmon with ikura, and mushroom skewers were outstanding! The use of rice oil made the oil light and easy to eat. The service was friendly, and the interior was very stylish. It may get crowded on weekends, but it's a wonderful place for a date, girls' night out, or a post-work drink. The beer was delicious, and it was clear that the taps were cleaned regularly. They had a wide variety of sake, and the Chiebijin was particularly tasty. Even though we arrived around 6 pm on a weekday, the seats were filling up quickly, so reservations are a must. We finished with bukkake udon and it was delicious! I look forward to trying other menu items next time.

After finishing my errands in Ebisu, I stumbled upon a lively and oddly named restaurant, so I decided to check it out. It's called "Kushiage Agarukome Ebisu Store". From reading the store's sign, I learned that they specialize in kushiage, which is deep-fried skewers using rice oil. I've never tried kushiage before, so I was curious about this newly opened restaurant located on the 4th floor of a mixed-use building. The set menu for two people included 8 skewers, a side dish, and a drink for a total of 14210 yen (excluding tax). We ordered various skewers such as shrimp, beef, eggplant, salmon with salmon roe, chicken with ginger, yam and shrimp wrapped in tofu skin, chicken with cheese and tomato sauce, and asparagus. We also had sake and other dishes like sashimi and rolled omelette. The skewers were fried right in front of us, and each skewer came with recommended seasonings like homemade sauce, spicy mayonnaise, dashi soy sauce, and sauce for the barneyard. The texture of the crispy batter and the lightness of the rice oil made the kushiage surprisingly delicious. The combinations of ingredients in the skewers were creative and unique, but all of them were enjoyable. Despite being open for just over a month, the restaurant was clean and had a stylish atmosphere with Jazz music playing in the background. There is a tempura restaurant located about 3 minutes from Ebisu Station. They use rice oil for frying, so it's very healthy. You can eat without feeling guilty. The restaurant just opened on June 1st, so it's very clean. The items I ordered were: A la carte - Sea urchin and salmon roe with half-cooked egg and special truffle mayonnaise, Homemade potato salad, Red snapper sashimi on rice, Sanuki udon, Cold tempura course - 8 skewers for 250 yen each, including large prawn, domestic beef, red eggplant, salmon with salmon roe, chicken thigh with grated ginger, yam and prawn in yuba, chicken and cheese with tomato sauce, A la carte tempura - avocado, quail egg, camembert cheese, Complimentary carrot, Drinks - Ebisu beer, New Sawa Brewery yogurt sake, Black oolong tea, Fresh lemon sour. The tempura course is a great deal at 250 yen per skewer, and each skewer is large and satisfying. I wanted to order more, but 8 skewers were quite satisfying. The yogurt sake was unique and delicious even when mixed with soda. The sea urchin and salmon roe with truffle mayonnaise was incredibly tasty. The red snapper sashimi was fresh and delicious, especially when eaten with the hidden onions. The Sanuki udon was firm and had a slightly sweet broth. Despite being a weekday, the restaurant was busy with cute staff and a lively atmosphere. It seems like a great place for a date, girls' night out, or after-work drinks. I was very satisfied. I visited the restaurant because I wanted to eat kushikatsu. I started with some appetizers and found that the overall taste was strong. The Uni and ikura mayo had a strong egg flavor that overpowered the taste of the Uni and ikura. The kushikatsu was cooked well to bring out the flavors of the ingredients, but the batter was too moist and seemed to be overshadowing the ingredients. Both the appetizers and kushikatsu seem to have a poor balance of flavors.

The appetizer was Bagna Cauda! The skewers fried in rice oil were refreshing! The sashimi was also delicious! And yet, it was reasonably priced...! I'm not usually a fan of fried foods, but I devoured the skewers here. They also had bottles of champagne, making it a very enjoyable dinner.

Because they use rice oil, the deep-fried skewers were not heavy at all, and I ended up eating a lot without realizing it! If you're not sure what to order, getting the course with skewers might be a good idea! Everything that came out was delicious. The alcohol went down smoothly, the interior was beautiful, and it was a comfortable space that made me want to come back again. Highly recommended!

I visited with the hope of finding a place that offers good value and light kushikatsu. Starting off with a lemon sour for a refreshing drink, I opted for shochu without sweet syrup to keep it light. The vegetable appetizer was a nice touch, and I also ordered the chilled fruit tomato for a bit of acidity and sweetness on a hot day. Next up was the Uni and ikura with fluffy mayo, which got me excited. For the main course, I went with the "8-piece Kushikatsu course" which included large prawns, beef, salmon with ikura and grated daikon, red eggplant in dashi sauce, yam and prawn dumpling, chicken thigh with ginger, chicken with cheese and tomato sauce, and asparagus. The kushikatsu was light and crispy, with the flavors of the ingredients shining through. The prices were reasonable, ranging from 250 yen to 350 yen per skewer, even when adding more. I decided to visit the newly opened restaurant, so I called and made a reservation. When I arrived, I was seated at a table that was still messy. I ordered a bottle of beer to share with my friend, but they brought it in regular glasses instead of beer mugs. When I asked for another bottle, it took a long time to arrive and it wasn't even cold. I asked for ice with a hint of sarcasm, and surprisingly they brought it without any issues. The lemon sour I ordered didn't taste fresh, so I switched to a black oolong highball, which also looked and tasted strange. The only dish we enjoyed was the large shrimp. The salmon and ikura skewer was fishy, and the bluefin tuna was too tough to eat. The young girl in our group couldn't finish her tea rice bowl because it was poorly made. The service was average, and the staff seemed uninterested. There were private rooms available, but we couldn't figure out where they were located. Overall, there were many areas that needed improvement at this restaurant.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. I was a little hungry, so I ordered an assorted skewer set of 8 skewers and 4 other skewers that I wanted to try separately. The staff kindly explained how to eat each skewer. Everything was delicious, but I especially recommend the shiitake mushroom and large shrimp skewers. Went to a skewer restaurant in Ebisu with a friend's invitation ♡ It just opened in June and I've been curious about it, so I went on a weekday at 7 pm and it was almost full! Already a popular spot...!? The restaurant has a stylish atmosphere that doesn't feel like a skewer place, with both counter and table seats, suitable for dates, girls' night out, or dining alone ♪ The menu offers skewers in sets of 8, 12, or 16, and we ordered 8 (2,200 yen) first. We started with a toast with beer. The drink menu is quite varied, with popular fruit sake for girls and customizable highballs, appealing to both women and men. lol And the glasses are unique and stylish!! The skewers are served hot, one after another, and the batter is incredibly fine and crispy, which is irresistible!! And they are so delicious~~~! We were making a lot of noise about how good they were, and the lady said, "We fry them in rice oil~" By the way, the course included the following: ・ Head-on angel prawn ・ Domestic pork fillet ・ Red eggplant ・ Salmon with grated radish and salmon roe ・ Yuba wrap with yam and shrimp ・ Chicken thigh with fresh ginger ・ Asparagus Everything was so delicious, but the salmon with grated radish and salmon roe! We actually ordered seconds of this one lol And you can add more for only 300 yen per skewer, so cheap!! lol The yam and shrimp yuba wrap was also fluffy and delicious. This is so good~~~ We also ordered the mugwort and gluten miso dengaku, which is chewy and perfect for those who like it. The miso dengaku on top was incredibly rich and slightly sweet and salty, it was the best. Apart from the skewers, we also ordered the sea urchin and salmon roe with egg mayo, which was also a stunning dish. It was filled with plenty of salmon roe and was incredibly delicious. The sashimi platter was also delicious, with a surprising amount of sea urchin and other toppings. lol Oh, and the wine and sake selection is quite extensive. We tried a rare orange wine, which was delicious ♡ Overall, both our hearts and stomachs (and our photo folders lol) were completely satisfied!!! We ended up ordering a wine bottle, but without that, it would have been around 6,000 yen per person, so it's wallet-friendly. I will definitely come back.
