Marriage is a difficult theme. Two strangers becoming a couple, whether by chance or fate, there are many stories behind it. With the Equal Employment Opportunity Law, there is a trend of marrying later in life due to changing values. In today's era, marriage is seen as a social status and a ticket to the journey of life. But hey, why not just go with the flow and get married without overthinking it? Let's go! Listen to Masaharu Fukuyama's "Let's Become a Family." Today's review is about the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. Located just a 3-minute walk from Hibiya Station, it has a long history of serving customers and evolving with the times. Founded in 1890, the hotel has a reputation for meeting any customer's needs. I visited on an auspicious day for a friend's wedding. The ceremony took place in the "Fuji Room," where even Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip attended a luncheon hosted by the Japan-UK Society. The wedding was between two friends who met at a local game center and decided to get married on a whim. They arrived at the hotel without an invitation, unsure of where to go. The ceremony started late, but the friend eventually found his seat next to the parents. The grand and elegant setting of the room impressed him, and the staff in traditional Thai attire added to the atmosphere. The wedding ended with a champagne toast and the cutting of the cake. The menu for the reception was carefully designed, with each guest's dietary restrictions taken into account. The dishes included a heart-shaped crab and lobster jelly appetizer and a unique square-shaped pasta with seafood sauce. The experience was delightful, and the quote by Chef Nobuo Murakami resonated with the moment: "The present moment is the most important. Neglecting it will kill the taste of the food." Enjoy the feast!

I wanted to have a relaxing lunch somewhere and thought of the Imperial Hotel, where I haven't been in a while. The service was great and the clientele was nice, so I had a very pleasant and leisurely time. I enjoyed the ice coffee, club sandwich, and shrimp sandwich, but couldn't finish everything.

Having a leisurely lunch is the best after all. It was delicious. I had a wonderful time during lunch. Although it's rare to have a 3 and a half hour lunch, enjoyable moments pass by quickly. I have many allergies, so I appreciate the effort.

Every year, I use the Imperial Hotel for special occasions with my family. Due to the pandemic, ordering from a tablet and a reduced menu was disappointing. However, things seem to be improving now, as this time there were more options and we were very satisfied. Especially the variety of desserts like gelato made the ladies happy. Personally, I was a bit sad that they no longer had escargot, but overall it was an amazing lunch.

Music event held in a hotel banquet hall. The service, offering drinks and dishes between performances, is elegant even when the counter is crowded with guests. It's enjoyable to watch the dishes being prepared up close. The chilled tantan noodles have a rich sesame flavor. The thin noodles perfectly coat the soup. The spicy kick from the premium spices stimulates the scalp. The clubhouse sandwich exudes a sense of history and sophistication. The buttery flavor is excellent.

I had coffee in the lounge at the Imperial Hotel after dinner ☕️ The coffee had a fluffy foam on top, which was a bit unusual but very delicious. It was a wonderful and elegant moment spent there. The lounge was spacious with plenty of room between tables, allowing us to relax comfortably. They also had a bartender, so I thought it would be nice to have a drink there next time. We also had a chocolate platter, with a mix of bitter and KISS chocolates, just the right amount. My partner had a Mont Blanc cake set, and I tried a bite. It was a rich and delicious cake, not too sweet.

Visited in the early afternoon for a wedding ceremony. The wedding budget was used for the beautiful ceremony and reception. The location is a 10-minute walk from Yurakucho Station. Attended a colleague's wedding at the Imperial Hotel for the first time. The course dishes were all beautifully presented and delicious. It was a truly wonderful wedding with delicious food. Looking forward to the next wedding I can attend. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The first time I tried the eel bowl at the Imperial Hotel Yoshikawa, it was incredibly delicious. The dessert selection was also quite extensive and perfect for those with a sweet tooth. There were many macarons, puddings, and fruits. There was a variety of dishes available, making it very satisfying.

After 3 years since the COVID-19 pandemic, I finally attended a party at the Imperial Hotel. It was a fee-based event with tables for 10 people without partitions. It felt like we were finally back to normal. We started with a toast with Moet & Chandon, and enjoyed beer, wine, and delicious food as shown in the photos. There was no fish dish, but the main meat dish was tender and tasty. The service was great, and the food was consistently good.

I like the club sandwich here :) I was able to eat calmly and spend a relaxing time. Unfortunately, I only managed to get 2 cinnamon rolls this time for bulk buying on the way back. The staff kindly checked the back for me, but they were not available. I'll have to go buy them again soon! ^ ^

I visited the Imperial Hotel to enjoy their afternoon tea. The set consisted of sandwiches, salad, scones, pudding, strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, and Mont Blanc. The best part was that you could have unlimited refills of drinks. Everything was delicious, but the smoked salmon sandwich was my favorite. Honestly, I think cakes from a bakery taste better. However, having afternoon tea at the Imperial Hotel is truly a special experience, and I had a wonderful and elegant time.

After enjoying a banquet dinner show on the second floor and having a second party, I returned to my room and remembered the time I had the American Clubhouse Sandwich here 20 years ago when lightning struck. "Can a sandwich really be this delicious?!" I was amazed. It's past 11 pm, but I decided to indulge and have the ACHS again after 5-6 years. I'm over fifty now, and it seems like my taste buds have changed. The amount of shredded chicken seemed a bit too much for balance. The sandwich is still delicious, but maybe I've become more critical with age! A highball and a luxurious late-night snack. Thank you for the feast.

This time, it was a gathering with catering in a large room at the Imperial Hotel. Since the attendees had a wide range of tastes, the main dish was the safe and popular party dish No. 1, beef fillet with red wine sauce. The menu says "sauce from Gevrey-Chambertin," but I wonder if they really used it? (laughs) On the other hand, the red wine listed on the drink menu is from Bordeaux... It's a bit mismatched, isn't it? However, this facility competes with a different kind of hospitality, so evaluations based on gourmet websites may not be appropriate. Well, thank you for the meal~

In January of the 5th year of Reiwa, I arrived at Ginza Yakiniku Salon de AgingBeef via Central Hotel and Ginza Mitsukoshi (Kaguan). I arrived around 12:40 after handing my luggage to the doorman and parking in the adjacent parking lot. I had a pleasant chat with a man who returned to the car next to mine, complimenting each other on our cars. The front desk staff, including Vi and Oo, provided excellent service and I was checked into room 1404, a non-smoking double room. The room was environmentally friendly with bamboo toothbrushes and AYURA shampoo. I requested not to receive newspapers like Asahi, Mainichi, or Tokyo Shimbun upon check-in. A kimono-clad staff member brought me tea and Japanese-style curry-flavored rice crackers. The green tea served was the most delicious I've had in the past year. The welcome treat was a selection of cookies from the Imperial Hotel. I tried to book a room massage before 2:00 PM but it was fully booked until 7:00 PM. I ended up falling asleep while watching a DVD in my room. I hurried to the fitness center on the 20th floor around 4:00 PM and had a surprising encounter with former sumo wrestler Asashoryu in the sauna. I returned to my room around 5:00 PM and then headed to La Brasserie on the basement floor for dinner. I was seen off by Manager H around 7:30 PM. Back in my room, I uploaded a review of "Ashigara Shopping Club" on Tabelog, then took a bath with AYURA bath milk and watched the DVD "Closer." I went to bed around 12:20 AM. Overall rating: 4 out of 5, Service: 4 out of 5, Atmosphere: 4 out of 5, Drink: 4 out of 5.

The food was delicious and the staff's hospitality was excellent. The shrimp and flounder gratin Elizabeth Queen style, which Queen Elizabeth herself reportedly enjoyed, was particularly delicious. The consommé soup, which was carefully made over a long period of time, was also wonderful. The non-alcoholic cocktails inspired by Disney were lovely as well. The bartender making the cocktails caught the interest of the children, making it a fun dining experience for them as well.

Roast beef is the best ever. The meat is cooked whole and thinly sliced, with a high-quality steak-like sear and seasoning. It's a whole new level of roast beef. I couldn't ask for more. They recommended seconds, but half a portion was just right. Everything was perfect, and the champagne, white wine, and red wine were poured at just the right times.

First dinner show at the Imperial Hotel. I was struggling with what to wear, but the day finally arrived. The entrance decorations were already amazing, giving a special feeling. The fluffy carpet also got me excited! Due to the pandemic, the dining and show were held in separate rooms, but I was surprised by the large number of course meals being served all at once. Although the meat dish wasn't served hot this time, the drink and bread service (perhaps each table had assigned staff?) was impeccable, coming at the perfect timing without us having to call for them. I had a very comfortable experience thanks to the quality of the Imperial Hotel! The price was quite high (a reward for myself after a year of hard work!), so I may not be able to go every year, but I hope to go again someday. I would like to savor just the dining experience when I have more time.

This is the lobby lounge located to the left as you enter the front entrance of the Imperial Hotel. The classic building exudes a retro Showa-era atmosphere, with its high ceiling and open layout creating a sense of spaciousness. The seating is comfortable, and the atmosphere is calm and serene, perfect for a relaxing time. The afternoon tea is served with a variety of teas available for unlimited refills over a 2-hour period. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, making the experience truly enjoyable. The savory and sweet treats are delicious and just enough to satisfy your appetite. Visiting with friends, the conversation flowed easily, and the 2 hours passed by quickly. I would love to visit again.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Imperial Hotel and had breakfast there. The buffet restaurant on the top floor (17th floor) of the hotel serves breakfast with a great view. They offer a variety of dishes including Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine. I mainly had Western dishes which were all delicious. The service in the restaurant was excellent, and throughout my stay at the hotel, I felt well taken care of and treated like a valued guest. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a dinner party at the Imperial Hotel. I didn't know what TABLE FOR TWO was for the appetizer, so I asked and found out that for every meal eaten in a developed country, one meal is donated to a developing country. Through the TABLE FOR TWO (TFT) program, when you purchase a low-calorie set meal or food for the prevention of obesity and lifestyle-related diseases, a donation of 20 yen per meal goes towards providing school meals for children in developing countries. The 20 yen is equivalent to one school meal in the region supported by TFT. It is a system where one meal is given to a developing country for every meal eaten in a developed country. As for the dishes, the pumpkin potage with amaretto flavor was a bit strong on the amaretto, and the roasted beef fillet had a slightly strong saltiness in parts, but the cooking was to my liking.

Update as of November in the 4th year of Reiwa: Woke up at 8:15. Uploaded "Sainomori Country Club" on Tabelog. Ordered Sankei and Nikkei newspapers, but only received Sankei and Yomiuri. Took a bath. Had an iced coffee and Empire Hotel cookies for breakfast. Tried the Empire Hotel cookie assortment (11 pieces): nothing particularly special, just average. Watched "Castle" on DVD while using a massage machine. Around 11 AM, went to the Tenichi Empire Hotel store in the Tower building. Returned to the room after 12 PM. Updated my stay journal and browsed the internet. Watched "Castle" on DVD again, took a final bath, and checked out around 3 PM. The check-out staff, Si, was not very friendly, but the staff member Yo who helped with loading the luggage was nice. Departed and arrived home around 5:40 PM via Ginza Mitsukoshi. Despite being a luxurious and dignified hotel, it feels like a waste to rebuild it. Overall rating: 3.9 ← 3.7, Service: 3.8 ← 3.7, Value for money: 3.9 ← 3.2.
