I entered the restaurant around 5:30 PM on Sunday. It was still early for dinner, so the restaurant was about half full. They have counter seats and two-person tables, so it's comfortable for dining alone. I ordered the salt-flavored beef tongue set with three slices of six pieces each, and added grated yam on top. It's important to note that grated yam is not included in the evening set menu. Grated yam goes well with barley rice. Beef tongue has become a high-end item since the mad cow disease scare. Even the cheapest option of three slices of six pieces was a generous portion. The thick slices were delicious!

★Tokyo Yurakucho - I came here during a rainy lunchtime when the weather was bad and I wanted to eat beef tongue without getting wet. It was a late lunch and I only had about 30 minutes, but the food was served quickly and I was able to enjoy it. The soup was large! You can also get rice refills. The tongue had a good chewy texture, which was a lot for me as I am currently undergoing orthodontic treatment...lol. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

Lunch on this day (Sunday) was at Yurakucho at 11:00. I went to the Kyobashi Kaikan, but it didn't open until 11:30, and many places were closed on Sundays, so there were few options. I was in the mood for meat, so I decided to have beef tongue here. I ordered the "Grilled Beef Tongue Set Meal (2 salt, 2 miso, 8 slices) ¥3040". It came with special oxtail soup, pickles, and barley rice. I also added the beef tongue stewed in a special sauce for an additional ¥150. Even though it wasn't a takeout bento, the beef tongue wasn't hot. Since it's not yakiniku, is this the correct way? The beef tongue tastes much better with salt than with miso. Instead of a mix of salt and miso, go for just salt. The special oxtail soup was delicious. The "Grilled Beef Tongue and Harami Set Meal ¥1980" might have been a better choice.

It was a shame about Koshien. There were mixed opinions, but both teams did their best. Today, I was in Yurakucho all morning for errands. Finally done, I stumbled upon this restaurant on the basement floor of the traffic hall. Yesterday, I saw a once-in-a-century festival commotion in front of Hiyoshi Station, so today I decided to think about Sendai as I entered the store. First, I ordered a draft beer. I looked at the menu hoping for some kind of happy hour deal, and I found a set for tired workers. I ordered it right away. I also ordered the recommended two types of salt miso to go with it, and enjoyed it with a glass of barley juice, thinking about the baseball players. The tired worker set was quite filling. Chorizo, Chinese cabbage, miso pickles, and beef tongue for 1500 yen was definitely worth it. I found a good place. The two types of salt miso were delicious, and the firm barley rice was to my liking. The tail soup in a large bowl made me feel happy and embarrassed on a Sunday. I had a delicious late-night snack. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at Taizou in Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan since it was conveniently available. The restaurant has a tight layout, and I sat at a table towards the back. It's a specialty restaurant from Sendai that focuses on beef tongue, so the lunch prices are a bit high. I ordered the Beef Tongue & Harami Lunch set. You can get free refills of barley rice. The set came with 2 pieces of harami, 2 pieces of beef tongue, and oxtail soup. The harami was incredibly tender and juicy when dipped in the sauce. The beef tongue was decent. The condiments were quite spicy, so the pickled Chinese cabbage helped balance it out. The oxtail soup was also quite filling. My stomach was definitely satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I had some time to spare so I was wandering around the Ekimae Traffic Center when I stumbled upon this restaurant. I didn't know that Taisuke was located here. I had about 15 minutes until opening time, so I sat on a nearby chair and waited. I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. I was originally planning to have the beef tongue, but the cheapest beef tongue set, 6 slices (3 pieces) was 2350 yen. The 10 slices (5 pieces) that I wanted to eat was 3630 yen. It was quite pricey. I noticed a lunch sign at the entrance advertising the beef tongue and minced meat kalbi bowl for 1240 yen. It was limited to 10 servings on weekdays, and since I wouldn't be able to come right at opening time, I decided to go for that today. I ordered the beef tongue and minced meat kalbi bowl. It arrived in about 5 minutes. It was delicious, but since I was originally in the mood for beef tongue, it felt like something was missing. Maybe it was because I was being stingy and chose the cheaper option, but I didn't feel completely satisfied.

I entered the restaurant around 6:15 PM on Saturday. It was 20% full when I arrived, but became 80% full after more customers came in. The restaurant has counter seats, making it easy for solo diners to be seated. I ordered three pieces of salted beef tongue, each cut into six slices. Topped with grated yam is not included by default, so you have to order it separately. Three pieces is the smallest portion available, but it was enough for me. I think they also offer up to five pieces. I have been here many times and the food is always delicious. The thick slices provide a satisfying texture. It's really tasty!

I entered the restaurant around 7:15 pm in the midst of Golden Week, and it was almost full. Luckily, there was one empty seat at the counter, so I was able to sit down. There are three counter seats available here, so even if you are dining alone, you can feel at ease. I ordered the salted beef tongue set with 3 pieces of 6 slices each, and added grated yam for an additional charge. Beef tongue is often enjoyed with grated yam, but please note that there is an extra charge of 150 yen for the grated yam. I frequent this restaurant often, and every time the food is delicious! The beef tongue has a good thickness, providing a satisfying crunchy texture. It's so tasty!

The other day, I went to "Gyutan Yaki Morinomiyako Tasuke Yurakucho Store" located in the basement of the Yurakucho Transportation Building for dinner! Since the Yurakucho Transportation Building closes quite early in the evening, I ended up here by chance. While this place can be used as an izakaya, many people were actually eating set meals. I ordered the set meal with Gyutan Yaki, which comes with both salt and miso flavor. I also added grated yam to my barley rice! It was nice to be able to enjoy both flavors of Gyutan. The meat was very tender and had a rich flavor, which made the rice go down smoothly. The special Japanese-style oxtail soup was generous in portion, making me feel like I got a good deal. Although I didn't try it this time, you can order extra Gyutan, so it's reassuring for those who want to eat a lot. I haven't been to a Gyutan set meal specialty shop in a while, but it was a different kind of enjoyment compared to a yakiniku restaurant, and I thought it was nice once in a while. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and enjoyable whether you're alone or with friends. Being able to order extra Gyutan and add grated yam to the barley rice is great. It's a different kind of enjoyment compared to a yakiniku restaurant, so it might be nice to visit occasionally.

Lunch. I had to wait a bit because it was lunchtime, but the turnover was quick, so I got my food quickly. It was my first time at this place, so I chose a popular menu that lets you enjoy two different seasonings. When there are two options, I tend to decide which seasoning I like better in my head, so I'm the type of customer who says, "Next time, I'll try a menu with just this seasoning!" I'll try going at a different time next time to avoid the lunch rush. (I didn't explain the taste, I'll save that for next time)

I went to apply for a passport, but there was a long line. After the initial reception, I had to wait about 2 hours to get my exchange number called, so I decided to have dinner first. I was attracted by the signboard menu and came to this restaurant. However, it seemed like they didn't have the menu on display. I ordered the beef tongue set meal with miso for 2450 yen. The taste was decently good, but I was surprised that grated yam was an additional option for such a high price. The side dishes were also minimal. It was enough for me, but the rice had an extra charge for a large portion. The miso was thinly spread, and I wished it had a stronger flavor. The beef tongue had a chewy texture, and I felt satisfied after eating, but it was still expensive. Maybe it's because of the location, but personally, I found it difficult to consider revisiting. Well, for those high-income earners working around here, it might be considered "affordable".

I visited after an event. I had 6 pieces of salted miso tongue with grated yam (4,450 yen). The beef tongue was delicious, and the tail soup was also satisfying. It was a high-quality meal. It's great that you can have unlimited refills of rice. It may be a bit pricey, but considering the location where you can walk from Yurakucho Station and enjoy beef tongue, it's worth it.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I love beef tongue, so I was excited. I decided to try the beef tongue and harami set lunch that was listed first on the menu. Let's also add grated yam for 150 yen. The harami was surprisingly delicious, and the oxtail soup was large and satisfying. However, the beef tongue wasn't to my liking, and the side dishes felt lacking, lacking attention to detail. The atmosphere of the restaurant wasn't very calming for a meal, so it was a bit disappointing.

My wife and I had lunch together after a long time. We were looking for a restaurant in the basement of the traffic building, but surprisingly many places were closed on Sundays. That's when we found "Gyutan Taizou" and decided to go in. We ordered the grilled beef tongue set meal and a medium-sized draft beer. The beef tongue was thick, tender, and delicious, very satisfying. It paired perfectly with the beer! The barley rice and soup were also delicious. It was a very satisfying lunch.

After shopping in Ginza, I happened to see a sign and decided to dine there on a Sunday evening. It was not crowded, probably because it was early or because it was dinner time. I chose the set with 2 pieces each of miso-grilled and salt-grilled beef tongue. I also ordered grated yam for an additional 150 yen. The meal arrived in about 5 minutes, and it came with oxtail soup, pickled Chinese cabbage, miso with chili, and barley rice, all with generous portions. The rice was refillable. The beef tongue was delicious, both the salt-grilled and miso-grilled. The miso with chili, pickles, grated yam, and oxtail soup were also of high quality and very satisfying. Even though the portion of rice seemed large, you could ask for a refill and still have plenty of side dishes. The staff worked efficiently, and the service was quick. The set with two types of beef tongue was perfect, with no room for improvement. I was very satisfied. The price was around 3,500 yen per person, which might seem pricey for lunch but reasonable for dinner. I would like to visit regularly. Thank you for the meal.

We took a day off work in lieu of New Year's Day and decided to go on a tour of antenna shops in Ginza from Yurakucho. We arrived in Yurakucho just before 11:30 am. Unfortunately, the restaurant we wanted to go to in Ginza Inz was closed for the New Year, so we went to Tai Suke in Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan as our third choice. Luckily, there was a last-minute table available, so we decided to eat there. We looked at the menu and pondered for a bit. They had not only grilled beef tongue (salt and miso flavor) but also beef tongue stew and beef harami. It was a tough decision. After much contemplation, we finally made our order. In about 10 minutes, our food arrived. I was excited to try the grilled beef tongue as the last time I had it was about 5 years ago when my father from Akita sent me some from Tan-ya Zenjiro. I ordered grilled beef tongue and harami. I got 2 pieces of beef tongue and 4 pieces of harami. We also ordered oxtail soup, barley rice, pickled Chinese cabbage, and Nanban miso. My friend ordered grilled beef tongue (salt flavor). He got 3 pieces of beef tongue. The beef tongue had a slightly different texture, with a thick cut that was juicy and not too tough. It was delicious. The harami had a chewier texture and was meaty. It was not tough at all, just right. You could eat the tongue wrapped in Chinese cabbage or with a strong pepper flavor. It was all delicious. If there was a bit more charcoal flavor, it would have been perfect. The barley rice and oxtail soup were also good. If we didn't have shopping to do afterwards, I would have wanted another serving of barley rice. We were very satisfied with our meal of grilled beef tongue in Sendai. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the underground of Yurakucho's Kokusai Building, this place was bustling even though it was just before 2 PM. I found this place where I could quickly get a seat and decided to give it a try. While I was only familiar with the Gyutan chain restaurant called Ikinari Steak, this place seemed to be famous as well. I ordered the grated yam on the side, and asked for extra portions of two types of meat. The leek soup was a bit salty. The meat was tender. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to beef tongue in Sendai, personally I think of Taisho. Nowadays, Sendai beef tongue restaurants like Date Gyutan and Rikyu can be found in various places, but they don't give off the same vibe as Sendai. When I'm in Tokyo and craving beef tongue, I often end up compromising, but I recently discovered that I can enjoy my favorite beef tongue in Yurakucho.
