■Access: 7 minutes on foot from Ebisu Station on the JR Line ■Number of visits: First time ■Purpose: Dinner with friends ■Overview: A modern Asian cuisine restaurant originating from Sydney, located on the 39th floor of Ebisu Garden Place Tower. The restaurant boasts a spacious seating area for a total of 160 guests, meticulously designed interior details, and a breathtaking location with a panoramic view of Tokyo. ■Menu: Guests can choose from course meals or a la carte options. The restaurant offers a unique modern Asian cuisine that combines Thai dishes with French essence. On this day, we ordered the private room exclusive course (15,000 yen) limited to one group per day. The dishes we enjoyed included: - Crispy Prawn - Honbinos Coconut Spring Roll with Spices and Vegetables - Sea Bream with Rapeseed Flowers, Grapefruit, Mint, and Basil - Fresh Spring Rolls with Chicken Breast, Tamarind, and Pineapple - Mebaru with Fern Sprouts, Fiddleheads, and Green Masala - Hida Beef Grilled Inner Thigh with Cilantro, Red Nam Jim, and Asian Greens - Kaoyam with Blue Jasmine Rice - Millefeuille White Chocolate with Mint and Coconut Additional items ordered: - Green Curry - Pad Thai ■Impressions: We visited to celebrate a friend's job change and reserved the premium seats with a view of the night skyline. The plan to enjoy the breathtaking night view in a relaxed private room is perfect for dates and welcoming important friends. The dishes presented were new and unique Asian cuisine with elements of French ingredients and techniques elevated to Asian tastes with skillful use of spices. The most memorable dish of the night was the grilled inner thigh of Hida beef. The lean and flavorful Hida beef had a richness that did not rely on fat. The side dish of choy sum and spinach stir-fry, flavored with oyster sauce, had a Chinese flavor profile with a unique twist added by cilantro, perfectly embodying the restaurant's concept. The sautéed Mebaru paired with a sauce of green chili, spinach, and cilantro was also a highlight with a sophisticated and flavorful sauce showcasing the chef's talent. The fried warabi fern with a pleasant bitterness served as a delightful accent. The wine recommended by the sommelier was also excellent and we could trust their expertise. We look forward to visiting again for special occasions. Thank you for the wonderful meal. ■Rating at the time of visit: 3.48

"Longrain" is a popular Thai restaurant in Sydney, Australia, which always seems to be fully booked. The restaurant boasts a stylish and trendy interior design, having won the prestigious IDEA Awards for design. Located on the top floor of Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo, you can enjoy the same experience with a view of Tokyo Tower. I personally visit around 18:00 to enjoy the dinner course, where I can witness the transition from daylight to the beautiful night view. The dishes are flavorful and satisfying, with a special blue rice made with Butterfly Pea flower, a popular herb in Thailand. One of their signature dishes is the Thai rice salad "Kaoyam", which is a refreshing and healthy mix of ingredients like pineapple, salmon, and coriander. The seasonal course menu with wine pairing costs around 11,000 yen and includes dishes like Madai with grapefruit and mint, Mebaru with green masala, and a choice of pork or beef for the main course. The meal ends with a delicious dessert of White Chocolate Millefeuille with coconut yogurt. Overall, it's a fantastic dining experience with great food and a stunning view, making it one of my favorite restaurants.

I went to a wedding party. The view from the top floor of Garden Place Tower is amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff's service, and the food were all excellent. The weather was nice, so I felt like staying until night. I would love to go again.

Located on the top floor of Ebisu Garden Place, this Thai restaurant is a favorite of mine despite my aversion to spicy and cilantro-based dishes. The ambiance and stunning views keep me coming back regularly. My go-to dish here is the Pad Thai, which is the most delicious I've ever had. I love that it's available for lunch too. The cute private rooms make it perfect for special occasions, and I'd love to use one for a group of around four people.

I visited the restaurant based on a recommendation. The food was delicious, but for those in a hurry, ordering a la carte might be safer. I had ordered the course menu that day, but it took about 15 minutes for each dish to arrive, so it felt a bit slow. Although there were no window seats available, it seems like a good spot for a date.

[Nearest station] Ebisu Station East Exit -> About 7 minutes on foot [Address] Ebisu Garden Place Tower 39th floor First of all, you will be overwhelmed by one of the best views in Tokyo! On the 39th floor, there are many other tenants with shops, but Longrain's view overlooks Tokyo Tower and Odaiba, making it superior to other shops in that regard. It is said that you can also see the summer fireworks perfectly, so it is worth visiting for the view alone. And the interior of the restaurant is extremely spacious! There is a stylish bar at the entrance, and luxurious private rooms are also available at the back. You should be able to relax no matter where you sit. [Today's order] Longrain Lunch Course ¥3,700- •Flounder with seaweed, shiso, lemongrass, and pepper •Fresh spring rolls with smoked salmon, Kaga Daikon, and coconut •Crying Tiger beef harami +¥800 •Khao Yam with blue jasmine rice +¥350 •Rare cheese mango with salt milk ice cream and black glutinous rice (Drinks) •Ping Pong ¥1,300- → Longrain's No.1 popular cocktail that you can feel the sweetness and acidity of the fruits •Silipairin ¥1,100- → A refreshing taste of lychee and lemon Today, I had lunch with a friend in the private room as mentioned earlier. This room is a different space where you can seat about 6 people on a spacious sofa seat with a beautiful white marble table. You can have a luxurious experience here that you wouldn't want to tell anyone about. Therefore, the photos will also look amazing. I ordered the higher-priced lunch course. I was surprised from the appetizer. It looks so beautiful that it seems like French cuisine! But when you taste it, it has a solid Thai flavor, and it's a dish that would definitely make you want to drink wine if it weren't for lunch. The meat is "Crying Tiger". It is named after the meaning of being so spicy that a tiger cries, but it is not crying, but it has a moderate spiciness and is excellent. The meat is tenderly prepared and goes well with the accompanying coriander. The dish that I thought women would like the most is "Khao Yam". I was surprised by the blue rice. It is made from butterfly pea. It is said to be commonly eaten in Thailand for every celebration, and you can nod in agreement with the appearance that is too beautiful to eat. When you squeeze lime on the rice, it changes color to pink due to a chemical reaction, which is quite stylish! Although it is a rice dish, you can easily finish it by mixing it with the surrounding ingredients like a salad. The recommended drink is "Ping Pong", which contains lychee shaped like a table tennis ball. In terms of taste, although it contains alcohol, the sweetness and acidity of passion fruit go well with vodka. This is a must-try if you come to this restaurant! It is truly the popular No.1 cocktail. The dishes and drinks exceed expectations to the point where you forget that it is Thai cuisine in every aspect. The service was also provided by friendly staff, and the atmosphere was too good. And with the bonus of a great view, it is a wonderful restaurant that I would like you to visit at least once! Next time, I will come for a meal with the night view. Thank you for the meal! Ahh~. ☆ at the time of posting (3.48)

I visited the 39th floor of Ebisu Garden Place for lunch. I was seated at a table by the window with a great view. The weather was nice that day, so the view was amazing. The food was delicious with a fresh use of spices. It seems like there are various coupons available, so if used wisely, it's a high cost-performance restaurant!

I made a reservation and visited this stylish Thai cuisine restaurant located on the upper floors of Garden Place. To reach the 38th and 39th floors, you take a private elevator. The restaurant offers a beautiful night view that seems popular with date customers, although surprisingly there were mostly female customers. The restaurant has a moody atmosphere that would be perfect for a young couple's date night (kind of out of place haha). The breathtaking views include Tokyo Tower, Odaiba, Shinjuku, and you can even see the fireworks at Jingu Shrine. I was lucky to get a window seat! I ordered the Hida beef for the main course, Kaoyam for dessert, and a cafe latte for tea, which ended up costing over 10,000 yen due to additional charges. The Kaoyam, colored blue with butterfly pea, seemed to be a specialty here, so it might be worth trying! ★ Sparkling wine course with dessert for 8,000 yen.

There are many stylish shops in Ebisu, but there are not many with such a good atmosphere and view. It is perfect for special moments with special people. We ordered the course menu, and each dish was stylish, not too spicy, visually pleasing, and did not get boring. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Lunch course at Longrain in Ebisu with modern Thai cuisine. Requested a window seat with a good view and visited the restaurant. Started with sparkling wine. Chose between main dish and noodles or rice, and while waiting, the appetizers arrived. The appetizers included flounder with seaweed, shiso, lemongrass, and pepper, as well as smoked salmon, cucumber, and coconut fresh spring rolls. Both were delicious with a nice twist. The main dish of grilled Oyama chicken with pineapple and basil flavor was presented beautifully and tasted great alongside the appetizers. The Khao Yam was so beautifully arranged that it was almost a shame to mix it, but mixing it with the sauce brought out incredible flavors beyond the appearance. The timing of the dishes being served was excellent, and the meal was satisfying. The background music of 1980s Western music was a bit strange, but the dessert of rare cheesecake, mango, salted milk ice cream, and black glutinous rice crackers was a good value with coffee included. I would like to visit this restaurant at night next time.

I visited a recommended restaurant in Ebisu for an adult date! I tried a special plan where you can watch the Jingu fireworks display! Enjoyed delicious and stylish Thai cuisine in a restaurant with a great atmosphere where you can see the beautiful night view of Tokyo. Definitely recommended for a date!

I went to a "whining lunch" with my husband, who loves to eat. The lunch was quite spicy and sweet, which made me happy as a Southeast Asian food lover. My husband had a look on his face that said, "It's not for everyone," so it may be a place that caters to specific tastes. If you love cilantro, you should enjoy it. The view was beautiful, so it might be even better at night. The Thai tea tasted like chai milk tea, which was also nice. I glanced at the bill and thought that considering the atmosphere and location, it was understandable. It may not be the best value for money, but the view is great, so girls might like it. It could be a good option for a casual dinner to please your girlfriend. Men might also find it useful. I was happy to enjoy proper Thai cuisine after a long time. Thank you.

The atmosphere is like a family restaurant, but the service is okay. The pasta at this cheap chain restaurant is decent. The modern fusion dishes are impressive! The location is nice, but it feels like it's missing something. It might be good for a casual girls' night out. It's convenient to go there, so it's not bad!

I visited for lunch. It's a very popular restaurant, isn't it? It was almost fully booked during the weekend lunchtime. Despite being busy, the staff's customer service was excellent, which explains why it's so popular. It's a very pleasant place to be! The food was delicious and served at the perfect timing! The Blue Jasmine Rice Khao Yum at the end is mixed together, with various textures from nuts, fruits, and vegetables making it interesting. Even the dessert was delicious. The atmosphere seems great for dinner, so I would like to visit at night next time! ☺️

I made a reservation through Ozmall for a course with free drinks for 2 hours at 12:00 on Saturday for 4,500 yen including tax. The restaurant seemed to be popular among couples and ladies, and the atmosphere was calm and the view was very nice. The drink options included sparkling wine and Sapporo Black Label bottled beer, which was very satisfying! The sparkling wine was placed on a side table next to our table, which was a nice touch. The dishes were visually appealing, tasty, and generous in portion size. However, we were reminded to leave exactly on time, and we were prompted to leave three times, which made us realize that it must be a popular restaurant!

I found a great deal for a 3-hour all-you-can-drink course that included a whole bottle of sparkling wine for only 4500 yen. The food was delicious too. I heard that extending the all-you-can-drink option only costs an additional 1000 yen. Such a great deal!

The restaurant not only served delicious Thai food but also provided a smooth and pleasant dining experience from the moment we entered. The staff guided us to our table efficiently, and when we asked to move to a window seat with a view of the night scenery, they quickly accommodated our request. The menu featured beautifully presented dishes, such as a green papaya salad that was not too spicy and a green curry that was perfectly balanced. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

I found a nice place after searching for a restaurant to take my foreign friend. It was lunchtime on a holiday, but I was able to make a reservation even on the same day since it was from 13:30 onwards. The window seats cost about 500 yen more, but it was worth it to sit by the window. The restaurant was crowded with young people and quite lively. However, the window seats were relatively quiet, maybe because they were more expensive (even though it was just 500 yen). The weather was nice, and the view was amazing. I could see planes coming and going, which got me excited. The food was unique, mixing blue rice, and it was delicious. The meat portion was generous, and the taste was great. With sparkling wine and dessert included, all for 3,500 yen, it was fantastic.

Located on the 39th floor of Ebisu Garden Place, this restaurant offers a stunning view of Tokyo Tower from the window seats in the evening. While you can't see the sunset from this side of the restaurant, it's still a lovely experience to watch as the lights gradually come on and the city darkens. There is a charge of 1000 yen per person for a window seat. I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp and thick fried tofu, as well as the Som Tam spicy green papaya salad. The Pad Thai was surprisingly easy to eat and delicious, similar to yakisoba.
