I bought Corocoro and corned beef at the store. Corocoro is packed with bacon, chorizo, sausages, and more. I tried some at the store and then brought it home. It's only 300 yen, which is cheap. I made corned beef and rice at home. Both my son and my daughter loved it. It's delicious.

My daughter bought... corned beef and I was surprised!! The corned beef from the meat shop "Koshizuka" in Sendagi is really delicious. Honestly, I've never thought corned beef was tasty before, but this one is really good! It's a bit pricey at 2780 yen, but it's worth it. I enjoyed it in various ways and it disappeared in no time. I have to buy it again soon. Thank you for the meal! #SendagiKoshizuka #Sendagi #Koshizuka #KoshizukaCornedBeef #delicious #delish #hitthespot #yummy #instayummy #jpfood #tokyofood #sgfoodunion #foodporn #foodstagram #foodiestagram #instafoods #healthyfood #healthyandhappy #healthiswealth #athome #homemade #homecooking 20230628

When I came to Tanaka, I wanted to eat Koshizuka-san's American dog, so I stopped by. There are days when there is no American dog, so when they have it, I always eat it. The frankfurter is juicy and big! The dough is crispy and fried, hot and delicious. There is ketchup and mustard in front of the store, so you can put it on to your liking. There are benches so you can sit down. Very delicious!

I went to Nezu Shrine to see the azaleas, which bloomed much earlier than usual this year. On the way there, I stopped by this meat shop on the night market street. They are famous for their corned beef made with wagyu beef fat, and their pork belly ham is also delicious. I haven't visited the main store in a while because I usually buy from stores in train stations or commercial facilities. I wanted to see if they had something unique at the main store. When I entered, I discovered their speciality, "Pork Belly Ham Shabu Shabu," which is exclusive to the main store. It's thinly sliced like shabu shabu meat for beef and pork. The ham is attached to a thin film like shabu shabu meat. I love pork belly ham and can't slice it this thin at home. I found it interesting, so I bought about 200g for around 1200 yen. That evening, I compared the pork belly ham shabu shabu with regular shabu shabu using Berkshire pork. While the Berkshire pork was tastier, the ham had a light saltiness and smokiness that was quite enjoyable. The ham's sweetness from the fat is prominent when eaten as is, but when used for shabu shabu, the balance of lean and fatty meat flavors is delightful. In conclusion, pork belly ham shabu shabu is worth trying. The ultra-thin slices can also be used to wrap rice or vegetables. It's definitely worth checking out the main store from time to time.

I came to buy the famous Koshi-zuka's corned beef, but it was so expensive at 2780 yen for 400g. It makes sense since it's made of beef. It's not something affordable for poor people, so I left. Instead, I bought some freshly fried chicken nuggets (500 yen) being sold outside the store. They were juicy and delicious, with a generous portion of 5 big pieces. There are benches outside where you can sit and enjoy your meal. It was very tasty, with the meat juice overflowing. They also provide red pepper and pepper for seasoning. They seem to have different items on different days, like beef skewers, American dogs, and Wagyu beef meatloaf. I'm curious about the meatloaf. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

There is a shop along Yomise Street in Sendagi. Yanaka Ginza is also very close by, and it's about a 7-8 minute walk from Sendagi Station. It's a fairly large store that sells processed meat, ham, sausages, and other processed products in general. I stopped by to buy their homemade corned beef this time. Since I was there, I also bought some Frankfurters and roast pork to enjoy at home. The corned beef comes in a 400g refrigerated package. We had it as corned beef bowl and sandwiches, and the mild saltiness allowed the beef's flavor to stand out. The roast pork is a simmered pork shoulder in a special sauce. It has a nice texture with the flavor of the sauce that seems to have been passed down for years. Although I didn't buy it this time, the black wagyu beef for yakiniku and steak looked delicious with beautiful marbling, so I would like to try it next time I visit.

- Classic Corned Beef Sandwich ¥680
Delicious, no doubt about it. It's because it's filled with Koshizuka corned beef. If I were to be picky, the amount of corned beef in the sandwich is a bit lacking in proportion to the bread. So, I think if you buy the corned beef separately and make your own sandwich, you can pack it with as much filling as you want. Also, the cheese plays a good supporting role, so don't forget that.
- Corned Beef via Salami ¥730
I've had cheese salami before, but now there's a plain version available. Cheese salami didn't have a strong cheese flavor, but more of a subtle hint of cheese. This plain version is more direct in conveying the flavor of salami, or rather corned beef. It's a diced salami for beer lovers who leave wine drinkers behind. It's so delicious that I can't stop eating it. Of course, I also got the corned beef stick. With this, my evening drinks are set for a while.

On September 30, 2022, I needed a medical certificate, so I went to the hospital. Next, I need to go to "Toraya Akasaka Main Store." I plan to take the subway from Sendagi Station to Akasaka Station. I was thinking of having lunch at "Dobasaka Shokudo," but unfortunately, it was closed. I continued walking towards Sendagi Station on Funamizaka Street. At 13:34, I stopped by "Sendagi Koshizuka Sendagi Main Store." I often use the stores in Ikebukuro Seibu and Tobu, but it was my first time at the main store. I found some good deals that are only available at the main store, like "corned beef." The meat also looked good, and I found "Belly Ham offcuts" and "Belly Ham with minor defects." I asked the employee, "Do they taste the same? Which one is a better deal per gram?" The employee kindly recommended the "Belly Ham with minor defects." I purchased the "corned beef" and "Belly Ham with minor defects" and enjoyed them later. I couldn't tell what was "defective" about the Belly Ham at all. It tasted just like the regular product. I made pressed sandwiches with it in a frying pan. The fat that came out was a "flavor bomb." I also baked skin-on boiled Maris Piper potatoes. They were delicious. I used the "corned beef" in pasta, sandwiches, and on top of rice. It was delicious as expected. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

Natsumi's hometown is Bunkyo Ward! I knew there were shops here since kindergarten, but I've never shopped here because it's expensive. However, I have received various souvenirs from here before. One day, I saw on TV that they sell various items like American dogs on a limited basis every month, so I decided to go check it out during a walk. It was around 3 PM on a holiday, and there were only a few left! I hurried to line up and managed to get one (*´▽`*)☆ The American dog had a crispy outer dough with a slight sweetness, which was delicious♫ The thick and juicy frank inside was worth the high price. While eating outside the store, a couple I didn't know approached me and asked if it was delicious because they couldn't buy one and were curious about the taste. I told them it was really delicious and finished it in no time! A few days later, I revisited the place during another walk and day drinking session. This time, the limited item was fried chicken. As expected from a meat shop, the fried chicken was also delicious♫ Eating outside made it taste even better.

I got off at Nippori Station to visit a shop I missed last time. I saw that it was open as I walked down the evening street. There were other shops I wanted to visit, but they were crowded, so I decided to go to this shop first. The shop was frying menchi (minced meat cutlet) outside. They also serve motsu-ni (simmered pork offal) at certain times, probably in winter. I wanted to try their delicious corned beef as a souvenir for someone who had given it to me before, but it needs to be refrigerated and I had to walk for a few hours, so I couldn't buy it this time. I bought the menchi cutlet (400 yen) and decided to enjoy it with a beer. The menchi cutlet was juicy and meaty, not dripping with juices but satisfying to eat.

I want you to see this fierce American dog from the convenience store. If this American dog represents President Biden, then this American dog is like former President Trump. The head shape is a bit strange, but the inside is thick. I saw it was very popular among the enthusiastic supporters who kept coming one after another, so I couldn't resist and bought one for myself (300 yen). It was really delicious, like nothing I've ever tasted before. It's an American dog from a meat shop, so the sausage bursts with flavor in one bite, and the crispy, fragrant skin is really well done. I used to think it was just a light snack, but this American dog completely shattered that concept. I actually thought it was more like an American bulldog.

I had a Corocoro Yaki for 300 yen including tax. They were cooking it on a hot plate right in front of the store. They served it fresh and hot, and I enjoyed it on the bench in front of me. It was delicious, with sausages and bacon cut into random pieces and fried. I will enjoy the leftovers at home!

On weekends in December, it's time for a walk and run in Yanaka! The weather is getting a bit chilly, making it a pleasant walk. Boost your metabolism and burn fat! For breakfast, head to Koshizuka! I wanted a hot dog, but it was a bit too early. They were still preparing it! So, I opted for a soup from a live cooking demonstration! Here we go! A hearty soup with plenty of bacon and a hint of sausage! The cabbage is nice and tender. Cooked in a consomme soup, it warms you up from the inside out! And more than half of the cup is filled with bacon! The smoky aroma and just the right amount of fat make it satisfying. The texture of the bacon is great, and it fills you up nicely! I thought about having a hot dog later, but I'm already quite full! I might not be able to walk afterwards! In December, I'm also interested in the special sale of Sendai beef, so I'll be heading to Yanaka every week! Now, let's head to Ueno Park!

I've been coming here regularly since I got hooked on their retort curry. While looking at the outdoor shop, I saw something called "staff meal soup" for the first time, so I bought it (500 yen). I thought it would be a tail soup in a Starbucks tall size container, but the contents were surprising. It was a consommé soup with almost all meat as ingredients. It was like a version of minestrone where the vegetables and bacon ratio was reversed. And the highlight was the size of the container. Please see the photo, this is the size of a big man's palm. The soup was filled with tender meat and hot broth, which was so satisfying to eat in the cold outside! However, I had it for lunch but didn't feel hungry at all even in the evening. I think it's best not to make dinner plans with friends after having this soup. Haha, my stomach capacity and daily protein intake were all satisfied with this soup. P.S. I didn't know the soup would be this filling, so I also ordered a cheese dog, but of course, it ended up being a takeout (soups and side dishes are okay for takeout!).

I casually had a couple of drinks at a fun place and then explored the area around Yanaka Ginza, but unfortunately couldn't find any more places to drink. My wife bought some sweets, and I bought some pickled plums. While walking around, we came across a popular shop selling corned beef, but what really caught my eye was the grilled beef skewers being cooked right outside the shop. I really wanted to try them! But we didn't have any alcohol with us... So I went to a nearby liquor store, bought a bottle of Takara shochu highball, and returned to the shop. I ordered a grilled domestic beef skewer for 500 yen, choosing the soy sauce marinade. My wife also bought a Juicy Dog for 500 yen. Didn't we just have dango and daifuku earlier? We enjoyed the grilled beef skewers and Juicy Dog along with the Takara shochu highball we bought, sitting on a bench outside the shop. Luckily, we were able to enjoy the freshly grilled meat as the last skewer was sold out just before we arrived. The meat was tender and juicy, with the marinade adding a sweet touch without overpowering the flavor of the meat. It would have been even better if we could have openly enjoyed some drinks with it. We had also shared a stewed dish at the previous shop, along with a potato salad as a side. Even though we only had one beef skewer at this place, we were starting to feel full, so we decided to move on to our final stop.

I visited the popular delicatessen "Sendagi Koshizuka Sendagi Honten" located a 6-minute walk from Sendagi Station. I arrived around 3:30 pm on Sunday and there was no wait. I was able to pay smoothly. I purchased the Reuben sandwich for 580 yen, which is a specialty of Koshizuka filled with plenty of corned beef. The sandwich combines the richness of the corned beef, the depth of the cheddar cheese, and the crispiness of the cabbage, creating a delicious taste. It was great that the sandwich had plenty of corned beef! I enjoyed it until the last bite.

Visited on New Year's Eve at 11:00 am. Went to buy beef for sukiyaki for the New Year, and there was a line outside. It seems that there is a high demand for beef during the New Year holidays, and many people buy it because they feel anxious if the shops are closed from January 1st to 3rd. I purchased the following items:
- Marbled beef slices (100g, excluding tax, 830 yen): Used for sukiyaki, the slices were thick and had a satisfying texture, and the marbling was very delicious. Even with the price of less than 1,000 yen for 100g, the beef from Koshizuka has a great taste. I enjoyed a delicious sukiyaki from the New Year's Day. Koshizuka has expanded to many locations, and it seems that other stores are also advancing in cashless payments. I hope they will implement cashless payments at the main store soon. Thank you for the meal.

I often pass by the store but the timing was always off, so I couldn't buy it. It's a frozen food, after all... When I finally bought it and brought it home, I slowly thawed it in the refrigerator. Hmm, how should I eat it? I decided to try it over hot rice as recommended. The fat slowly melted as I poured it on top. It looked delicious! However, it's quite tricky to get the right amount. It's important to find the perfect balance so it doesn't become too greasy. The meat flavor is rich and delicious. But, the fat content is quite high. It's hard to pour out of the container, so my hands got all greasy. It would be better if it came in a different type of packaging, like a tube (laughs). I also tried it on bread. It was tasty, but dealing with the greasiness again... It's probably a must-have for corned beef lovers.

In December, I walked around the Nippori Station area in Tokyo, avoiding crowds. After exploring "Yanaka Ginza," I stumbled upon a shop with a tantalizing aroma and a long line of people. It was the Chitake Koshizuka main store in the Nippori Station area. The store is located near Nippori Station, past Yanaka Ginza and a right turn at the end of the street on the left-hand side. As you approach the store, you'll notice the line of people waiting. Some people are eating on the benches outside, enjoying a dish called "Korokoro-yaki." This dish emits a delicious aroma that draws you in. Without realizing it, I found myself joining the line. The "Korokoro-yaki" is cooked to order, with diced bacon cooked on a griddle and seasoned with a Cajun-style seasoning. The aroma of the bacon fat and seasoning attracts people of all ages. The Korokoro-yaki costs 300 yen and after waiting in line for about 10 minutes, I purchased one. I enjoyed the freshly cooked dish outside the store. The combination of bacon, seasoning, and the savory flavor of the bacon fat was delicious. I wished I had some alcohol to go with it. I ate two pieces and walked back home, reheated them, and enjoyed them with beer and shochu. The dish paired well with alcohol. It was more of a snack than a side dish. Overall, in these times of COVID-19, I want to minimize risks and enjoy food while contributing to the economy. The shopping street of "Yanaka Ginza" was nice, and the event at "Chitake Koshizuka" was a good idea. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy my drinks comfortably. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the main store because I loved the corned beef sandwich I bought at the department store basement before. It's located near Yanaka Ginza and has a cozy atmosphere unlike the stylish department store basement. The main store has a feel of a local butcher shop, with direct-operated restaurants in Shibuya, Shinjuku, and other locations. Besides meat dishes, they also serve a corned beef bowl, which I thought I could easily make at home (sadly, as a housewife). I bought a 400g can of corned beef for ¥2140. Although the beef is not domestically sourced (it's from Australia), it melts in your mouth and tastes delicious even when eaten as is. Apart from the corned beef bowl, I also enjoyed dishes like sautéed potatoes. It was quite an enjoyable experience.
