Most of the cute shops have foreign customers, and the curry and biryani are so appetizing. The staff is very friendly and their smiles are lovely. It's a biryani-focused restaurant, so the food is really delicious. If you love fluffy rice, you'll definitely love it. The dishes are all cute, which will lift your spirits.

This is a curry restaurant near Roppongi-itchome Station. The interior is small with about 4 table seats, and it is often full of foreigners. The entrance may look a bit intimidating, but the taste is delicious. I went with an Indian colleague who usually prefers spicy Indian curry, and he said that the curry here is authentic and tasty. The photo shows the set we ordered that day, which includes two types of curry (potato and spinach, butter chicken), naan, salad, and a drink for 950 yen. The curries are mostly mild and easy for Japanese people to enjoy. It is quite affordable and highly recommended.

The interior of the restaurant is small, but there is a lot of English being spoken, and there were more foreign customers (perhaps the manager's friends?) than Japanese customers. The atmosphere felt just like being in the actual country, and the food was delicious. I ordered a set with one naan, one curry of choice, salad, and two pieces of chicken. I chose the butter chicken curry, and there was no extra charge for it. My companion ordered the biryani set, which came with lassi. My set did not include lassi, so I ordered a blueberry lassi on the side. It had a strong blueberry flavor as if it had blueberry sauce mixed in. They also offer takeout, with lunch takeout starting at ¥500, which is very reasonable. Thank you for the meal.

Downtown Beads is an Indian restaurant located near Roppongi-itchome Station. The name of the restaurant may not have been intentional, but it gives off a Hamada Matsumoto Inaba vibe. It is a small restaurant, but when you walk in, you will see foreign group tourists. The atmosphere is chaotic, and the service is quite bland, giving it a very authentic feel. I ordered the Mutton Kashmir and Roti. The taste is very authentic, like eating in India. It has a good balance of tomatoes, onions, spices, and mutton. The spiciness is just right, and the Roti has a nice aroma of flour, making it delicious and a good match with the curry. There is something else I want to mention, but I cannot confirm it, and it would lower the impression of the restaurant, so I will just leave it at that. In today's world, it is easy to write lies to degrade others. It is a tough world where even if I don't lie, I might be perceived as doing so. In any case, the taste, service, and everything else are very Northern Indian. For those who understand, I hope this description helps. The taste alone would warrant a higher rating, but when considering everything, the rating ends up being around this level.

(⌒-⌒) Blog ⇒ 【Riding on the Drifting Clouds♪】Huh! What's this? Biryani? But... it's a collaboration with curry! I always thought it was just fried rice... Or rather, is this the real deal? Maybe I've been mistaken all this time. Biryani is not just fried rice! So, that means some of the biryanis I've had before were... fake! But this one here is the real deal! This place is called 'Down Town B's', located near Roppongi-itchome Station. As expected of Roppongi, the exterior of the restaurant is funky and doesn't look like an Indian restaurant at all. The same goes for the interior, with its unique atmosphere. Especially the decorations on the walls will make you scratch your head. Mother Teresa and Bruce Lee? Another example of Roppongi's diversity! Biryani takes a bit of time to be served since it's a cooked rice dish... In the meantime, let's pass the time with some drinks and salad! While waiting, you can read some inspirational quotes, but remember, they won't fill your stomach! Going back to the beginning, this biryani comes with curry! I chose my favorite mutton curry, and it costs 1,000 yen. Considering the location in Roppongi, it's quite a bargain. Besides the dish with the food, you also get a separate plate for the curry rice. What a luxurious curry rice it is! Until now, what have I been eating that resembled dry curry? I won't go that far, but this might become my new favorite. However, biryani with curry is indeed quite rare. I looked it up, and while there are places that serve soup along with the dish, a collaboration with curry is uncommon. So, it might be worth a visit just for that unique experience. Curry lovers will definitely enjoy it, and even those who aren't might find it intriguing. It could be a hidden gem for lunch in Roppongi-itchome! ☆━━━…‥・ Twistman's Room ・‥…━━━☆ Service: ♪♪♪♪♪ Food: ♪♪♪♪♪♪ Value for Money: ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ※ Ratings are out of 10 stars! (v^ー°)

At the location in Roppongi 1-chome where "Hamza" and "Barb" Indian restaurants used to be, there is now another Indian restaurant. However, this time it seems a little different. "DOWNTOWNB's Downtown Bees" is the name of the new restaurant. The restaurant has put a lot of effort into its interior design. What surprised me was that the place was packed with Indian customers! There was only one group of Japanese customers, who seemed to be related to India in some way. I found out that the restaurant had received 120 reviews on TripAdvisor, ranking 2nd out of 414 restaurants in Roppongi. It's amazing! (As of January 2019. The 1st place is "Ise Sueyoshi"). Matching the dishes you want to serve with the customers who want to eat them is important. It's great to see such diversity in food choices. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes that don't necessarily cater to the typical Japanese taste. They also have vegetarian options, which is important. The location demands a need for alcohol, and the prices are reasonable for a Roppongi drinking spot. The Indian appetizers are also a good point. Previously, "Swagat Tapas & Bar" used to cater to this need (which also had many Indian customers), but it is no longer there. I tried the Okra dry curry with cumin and tamarind, and the Tandoori Paratha with a crispy texture. The restaurant was quickly filled with Indian customers, and even had a waiting list due to its popularity. While North Indian restaurants may not be as popular in Tokyo, we should acknowledge the presence of restaurants that are well-regarded internationally.

In between Roppongi and Akasaka, there is an Indian restaurant located at the bottom of Yukinobanzaka. On this day, work plans were significantly delayed, and it seemed like there would be no time for a lunch break. So, I decided to go for a quick curry bento. The daily curry bento costs 500 yen! On this day, it was "Pork and Potato Curry". A great deal for a meal in Roppongi. The spices were mild, and the taste was decent with a satisfying portion. However, if asked if I would want to eat it again... It's not bad, but it felt like something was missing. Food is tricky. It's not just about the quantity but also about satisfaction. It's enough to live on, but from a global perspective, it's a simple luxury. Thank you for the meal.

It felt like a traditional shop located between tall buildings. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. It was busy with many customers buying lunch boxes when I visited at noon.

On a scorching day at 1pm in Roppongi Ichome, I felt like having curry and decided to check out an ethnic chain restaurant in a building directly connected to the station and home to TV Tokyo. The place was still crowded with a line. It was difficult to climb up towards Roppongi Station, so I found another restaurant right in front of me and entered without hesitation. The narrow interior was about 70% full, with more than half of the customers being of Indian descent, which raised my expectations. I ordered the set with one type of curry for 850 yen, choosing the Butter Chicken Curry at the top of the menu with naan and lassi. Water and salad were served immediately, with the salad being a typical type. While eating, customers kept coming in, mostly for takeout. The Indian customers in the restaurant had a high ratio of biryani, which looked quite appetizing, making me slightly regret my choice. The curry and naan arrived promptly, and upon tasting them, I found the spices to be mild but with a strong tomato flavor, making it delicious. The naan was soft and also tasty. The curry portion was generous, so I decided to get an extra naan to balance it out. Just before finishing, I received the lassi from the set. The attentiveness to customers, despite the constant flow of takeout orders, was impressive. Considering the taste and price in this area, I was fully satisfied. Next time, I might try the biryani.

I arrived at the restaurant around 11:40 on a regular day. Since it had just opened, there was no wait. The interior of the restaurant is small with small tables, and there is a slightly noticeable unhygienic atmosphere. Well, I suppose that's to be expected at an Indian restaurant... Now, let's talk about what I ate this time (rated on a scale of ★1 point ☆0.5 points). Biryani Set: ★★★★ Salad: Just a regular leafy salad with the classic sweet carrot dressing that is common at Indian restaurants. Biryani: This is authentic Biryani! It's not just fried rice, but properly cooked Biryani. I had to wait about 20 minutes for it, but it was worth it. The basmati rice was cooked perfectly and delicious! Daily Curry (Radish and Chicken): This was also delicious. It may be a bit watery, but it has a good flavor. Lassi: The Lassi that came with the set was average. Overall, I appreciate that they take their time to cook the dishes properly. The flavors are good and the prices are reasonable, similar to other Indian restaurants. It's not a bad place, but it would be better if they made a bit more effort in terms of hygiene.

I often come here for meals because it's in the neighborhood. The owner, Bonnie, is very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm. Despite being right in the heart of the city, near Roppongi-itchome Station and the bustling district, it's a very human-friendly place. I highly recommend the Biryani and curry set. The Biryani served in a unique pot is a must-try. They also have off-menu items, so be sure to ask about them. My favorite curry is the Chicken Tikka Masala, not on the menu but a hidden gem.

After finishing work, I felt like eating and stumbled upon a small Indian curry restaurant on the corner. I decided to go in. The fan was working at full speed. The menu was brought to me right away, but as I was contemplating, someone told me they had set meals too. I ordered a Biryani set with a salad and chose one type of curry. It was delicious, but the door was left open due to constant deliveries, so there were mosquitoes and it was a bit unsettling. It seems convenient for the locals.
