This café is operated by "Nikukyuu Rangers," who are involved in rescuing dogs and cats. The location is a house between Yutenji Station and Sangenjaya. While I have been to cat cafés before, this was my first time at a café with dogs as well. They are also looking for people who can become foster parents while visiting the café. The fee is 1,500 yen per hour with a drink included, and it automatically extends if you stay longer. The second floor has a dining area, but they were not serving food due to the pandemic. The dogs in their cages were full of energy and eager for attention. The cats were in cages, and if you want to pet one, you can ask the owner for permission. All the dogs and cats were adorable! I ended up staying for 2 hours. The iced coffee and coffee float were delicious. There were also snacks on the table. Animals that have been abandoned by breeders or owners, for whatever reason, can be found here. If you are considering getting a pet, it might be worth checking out this café before going to a pet shop. Visiting the café can also support their cause. The café seems to be closed for the month of August, so please check Nikukyuu Rangers' website for their operating days.
