Today is Christmas in the world. Actually, I was in Tachikawa yesterday, but I can't tell anyone, and today I'm going to Tachikawa again. "Do you really like Tachikawa that much?" "No, no, it's a tradition for Kuribocchi to go to Sanotsu. This year, I was invited by my sister for a horse sashimi date." It may sound like a couple date when written like this, but it's not like that at all. Climbing the spiral staircase, we arrived for our first visit after 5 p.m. We had reserved Sanotsu, but, um, it's not a counter seat, right? Huh? Oh, okay, it's a table seat, oh, okay! (Oh no, I wanted a counter seat (*゚ε´*)!!) Tonight, we ordered the "Recommended Meat Course" which includes horse meat rare steak and a luxurious assortment of 5 types of horse sashimi, among other things, for 2 hours with all-you-can-drink for 5000 yen. *Coupon can be used to extend the all-you-can-drink from 2 to 3 hours. - Homemade sesame tofu - Smashed cucumbers - Caesar salad - Assortment of 2 smoked items - Assortment of 5 types of horse sashimi - Horse meat menchi katsu - Horse meat rare steak with cherry meat flavor - Horse meat yukhoe Tonight, my sister, who is a quarter of a century older than me, is originally from a place where they eat a lot of horse sashimi. Her opinion was that it was good, she said it was delicious, I guess? The main dish, the rare steak, which we had high expectations for, was a bit disappointing. My sister hardly ate it. Oh, is the homemade sesame tofu like a dessert?! It was sweet and delicious. The horse meat yukhoe was so good that my sister almost finished it by herself. The horse meat "gyoza" was quite delicious, so there were shining moments here and there. The waiters were two stylish men. Their service was ordinary, but they didn't mention that some items on the menu had changed, which was a bit disappointing. When I made the reservation on Hot Pepper, I didn't feel any of the attention to detail or upgrades for the all-you-can-drink version, so in the end, it wasn't there, which was a bit disappointing. Is this a problem with the Hot Pepper system or the restaurant's fault? Either way, it needs improvement. By the way, on this Christmas day, there was only one couple as the first guests and another couple as the last guests, so it felt a bit lonely. So, the Christmas horse sashimi date was, well, so-so. Thank you for the meal.
