I landed in Sugamo for the first time and was drawn to the all-you-can-drink sign for 750 yen. It was a shocking price of 750 yen for 90 minutes ⚡️ which is irresistible for drinkers. The staff inside the store were bright and very caring ☺️. The atmosphere inside the store seemed to be mostly regular customers, but even as a new customer, they provided good service and good customer service. I thought I would definitely come back many times. When I come to Sugamo again, it's a repeat visit for sure. I will visit again! Thank you for the meal!

Today, I visited a restaurant called "Gen" in Sugamo. I found this place online and decided to check it out. The atmosphere inside was nice, and the staff were very energetic, making the dining experience enjoyable. They mentioned that they were confident in their dishes, so I decided to try them out. To my surprise, everything was delicious. I would definitely like to visit again.

I visited the izakaya "Izakaya Gen" located just a minute's walk from JR Sugamo Station North Exit and Toei Sugamo Station A4 Exit. It's on the 4th floor of Hotte-chan's building behind the Seven Eleven, so it's easy to find. They offer a great deal on all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes with a draft beer included for 750 yen, but I opted for a la carte because they had Urakasumi sake available. The premium malt draft beer (499 yen) was refreshing and served in a chilled glass. I tried the recommended lean horse meat sashimi (999 yen) and chicken sashimi (999 yen), both were delicious. The tamagoyaki (599 yen) on the wall menu tasted amazing, and the Urakasumi sake (699 yen for a glass) was poured generously. The staff, though young, were attentive and kind. The yam, mentaiko, and cheese bake (699 yen) was creamy and delicious, perfect for ladies. I ended the meal with a refreshing green soda (499 yen). They also provide amenities like cotton swabs, cotton pads, and napkins in the restroom, making it a great place for women. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

I came to the izakaya "Gen" located a 2-minute walk from Sugamo Station. I took the elevator to the 4th floor and found a cozy interior with table seating and private booths with light partitions. I chose a window-side booth. I was surprised by the 90-minute all-you-can-drink option for only 750 yen! I started with a glass of draft beer. The deep-fried eggplant with spicy green onions was a perfect match. The salmon yukhoe with homemade spicy sauce and chilled tomatoes were fresh and juicy. The yamaimo mentaiko cheese dish was fluffy and filling. After a few glasses of lemon sour, I definitely got my money's worth. I liked the casual atmosphere of the restaurant. I went to a second party with two acquaintances. The sofa seats were comfortable. Although we were different, there were also semi-private rooms available for a few people. We opted for all-you-can-drink since we both enjoy drinking, and it was so cheap! We didn't have much of an appetite, so we only ordered a minimal amount of food which made the bill very affordable. The drinks also arrived promptly every time, leaving a good impression. I would like to use this place again when I want to keep costs down!

I highly recommend the chicken sashimi, horse sashimi, and salted beef tongue, and above all, the potato salad was of a quality that you would never find in a regular izakaya. The all-you-can-drink was also only 750 yen for 90 minutes, so even after eating and drinking so much, it only cost me around 2500 yen per person! I really recommend it, so if you are reading this post, please be sure to visit "Minamoto" at least once!

The group was directed to the 5th floor due to the large number of people, but it was spacious with few people, which was nice. The food was delicious, but the portion size of each dish was small. It felt like we had to hold back when coming in a large group. It seemed like they don't use the 5th floor often as the restroom preparation was lacking. The speed of the drinks, the tastiness of the food, and the atmosphere were not bad, so I would like to go again.

All-you-can-drink is really cheap here!!! And the service is fast, the alcohol and food come quickly too!!! Personally, I love the chicken tataki and motsunabe here. Occasionally, there are days when certain dishes are sold out. (Is it an issue with restocking?) If you want to drink cheaply with friends, this is the place to go.

It's a lively and great restaurant. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and comes in good portions. The drinks are served quickly, which is perfect for an izakaya. The staff are energetic and create a comfortable atmosphere. The place was bustling with couples and salarymen. I definitely want to go back again.
