I went to see the pre-premiere performance of "Curtains". I arrived a little early and went to a sandwich shop to find it closed, so I ended up going to "Papas Cafe" nearby. The cafe was quite crowded and had a family restaurant-like atmosphere. When I ordered a hot sandwich, I was told it would take quite a long time, so I decided not to order. The lunch came with just a salad with leaves. My companion had asparagus, sausage, and mushroom pasta, which was very filling and not frozen. I had corned beef hash, which was served with pickles and was quite satisfying. The lunch drink was an additional 250 yen, and it was served in a small Duralex glass, which was probably smaller than usual. The service was very fast, and we finished our meal quickly. The cafe is conveniently located near the entrance to Hall B and Hall C, making it easy to go to the theater. The main actor and director of "Curtains" is Yu Shirota. The cast includes Chofi, Yu Shirota, Nikki, Yuka Sugai, Bobby, Shota Miura, Carmen, Kaoru Harada, Aaron, Yuji Kishi, Bambi, Saki Nakajima, Bering, Hiroshi Miyagawa, Georgia Jun Sena, Sydney Katsuyuki Nakanishi, Oscar, Manabu Yonemoto, and Grady, Takashi Takahashi. Yu Shirota is already a veteran actor who can be watched with peace of mind. The direction was irresistible to musical fans and filled with laughter. Yuka Sugai, who played Nikki, has a beautiful voice, although a bit lacking in volume. Shota Miura, who played Bobby, has a small face and great voice. Yuji Kishi, who played Aaron, has a charming and enchanting voice. Other cast members include Kana Inoue and Kenta Chaya. Kana Inoue has a powerful presence despite her slender figure, and Kenta Chaya's chemistry with her was great. The show was more focused on the entertainment aspect rather than the story, but it was enjoyable to try to solve the mystery of who the culprit was. The gradual revelation of hidden truths added depth to the production. It was a great show!
