Customers are constantly coming in from 7am to 10am. The outdoor terrace looks very pleasant. I think the best drink here is the hot chocolate. This buffet is known for having the best hot chocolate. You probably can't find this drink anywhere else.

I am currently writing this while having a meal. Everyone else here seems to be hotel guests. I am sitting alone at a good table. The food honestly feels like a typical hotel breakfast. I think it's overpriced at 2200 yen. I believe 1200 yen would be a more reasonable price. My favorite sweets are Koala's March and French toast. Koala's March is just a pancake. The French toast is delicious. The ice cream is just plain vanilla and chocolate. They should have Haagen-Dazs instead. There is bread available, but if they are charging 2200 yen, they should have better quality butter and jams. I love lettuce and feel like I'm only eating lettuce. The side dishes are typical hotel fare. Curry rice, miso soup, natto, onsen tamago, etc. The hot chocolate drink tastes like Milo and is very delicious. It's a bit disappointing that there is no carbonated drink bar. Inside the restaurant, you can hear Chinese and the voices of children and mothers. Westerners don't stay at hotels like this. Westerners are usually hardworking people who save money and spend it wisely in Japan. Chinese people are just nouveau riche who spend money like water. I feel this way when I go to different places. It's cold today so no one is outside, but you can also eat on the terrace. My ⭐ rating is not only based on the food. I don't have an absolute taste palate. It's just based on whether the space allows me to enjoy the food happily. The staff are all very kind and polite. Honestly, I think this is a restaurant to eat at when staying in a hotel. It's not necessarily a place you would come to eat at on purpose.

This is a dining spot inside Lotte Hotel in Kinshicho. Breakfast is available for hotel guests only. The Koala's March pancakes are a specialty and there was quite a wait before entering. The meal is buffet style, offering eggs, sausages, salad, yogurt, bread, rice, curry, hamburgers, etc. Both Japanese and Western dishes as well as desserts were available. The famous pancakes were cute and maple-flavored. There were also whipped cream and chocolate sauce, but the pancakes were delicious even on their own. The chocolate drink was not too sweet and was enjoyable to drink. There was also a bag of assorted sweets available for takeout on the way out. Overall, it was a very satisfying hotel stay with breakfast included!

2022.1.10 First visit. I finally stayed at the Lotte Hotel, which I had always wanted to visit. And this time, it came true with the dream of an all-you-can-eat ice cream plan at Lotte! It was pure bliss for me, who loves ice cream so much, to be able to have as much as I want, as many times as I want. However, the lineup was mainly different flavors like vanilla and chocolate, like Snow Daifuku, so I wish there were more varieties of brands... But enough of that, let's talk about the main topic, the breakfast buffet! From check-in the day before to bedtime, I indulged in all-you-can-eat ice cream, and now I'm fully ready for the buffet! I arrived at the venue a little before opening, and there were already about 5 groups waiting. Shortly after, we were called into the restaurant. We were seated quite close to the shelf decorated with March-kun, which I had seen online a few times, but I wished we were right behind the shelf... As a COVID-19 measure, only up to 8 people were allowed in the buffet area, and if there were more than 8, we had to wait in line. The staff counted the number of people and guided us at the right time. While waiting, we were given gloves for both hands. With gloves on both hands, let the food fight begin! There were about 20 varieties of Japanese and Western side dishes, and for desserts, there were 5 in total, including the highlight March-kun's pancakes, mousse and ganache made with Ghana chocolate, and more. There was also ice cream! First, I decorated March-kun's pancakes, my top priority at the buffet, with whipped cream and toppings like Toppo, Pocky, and Koala's March. As for the taste, honestly, I wasn't expecting much, and I was right... It was dry and not delicious... The Koala's March without filling, which I knew was not filled with chocolate inside, was not as tasty as the filled one... The other desserts didn't impress me much either. The side dishes were generally to my liking. I couldn't get enough of the scrambled eggs, they were so delicious that I had multiple servings! The kinpira burdock was quite flavorful. I personally found it very delicious, but those who prefer lighter flavors might find it too salty! My favorite was the chocolate drink made with Ghana chocolate! As the desserts were quite ordinary, I didn't expect much, but it was incredibly delicious! It was so rich and thick that it accumulated quite a bit at the bottom of the glass, making me want to drink it with a straw! It was so rich that I preferred the ice cream version over the hot one. This is not cocoa, but a genuine "chocolate drink"! Overall, I'm satisfied! Due to COVID-19 measures, there may be some waiting to get the food, but since the buffet area is quite small, I thought limiting the number of people might make it more spacious and easier to access the food. The accommodation cost is not that high, so I would like to repeat the experience! *I forgot to take pictures of dishes other than March-kun's pancakes because I was in a rush to get them!

Long-awaited stay with breakfast included plan. It's my 3rd or 4th time here. The buffet is currently featuring Christmas-themed dishes. The popular butter chicken curry is still not available, but the beef curry and stew are good. I tried a bit of everything and repeated the ones I liked. Couldn't resist going back for more curry and stew, but couldn't touch the Japanese dishes at the end because I overate last night. The available snacks are currently Big League Chew chocolate and two other chocolates. I was a little surprised.

Announcement of Daion Ei❗ At Tokyo Kinshicho, beware of the Koala! Upon receiving this notice, let's set out❗ It so happened that on this day, there was a meetup in the wandering city of Shinjuku. The title was "Karaoke Box Meetup - We might not sing, but let's have fun chatting!" It was a meetup for people of the same generation to have a good time chatting and enjoying each other's company. Anyway, since I was going to the big city of Tokyo, I decided to treat myself a little. I considered having breakfast at Gusto (several locations), but ultimately decided on the Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho, Charlotte. I had visited last summer after the World Cup, as mentioned in a previous post. I decided to take the first train to enjoy the breakfast buffet. I arrived at the hotel and Charlotte entrance on the 4th floor via the elevator. A yellow Koala was sitting there, welcoming me. I made my way to the table through the slightly narrow entrance and was guided to my seat. Apparently, they were having a summer meat fair, but I completely ignored that and went straight for the desserts. The most popular item was the Koala pancake and the genuine whipped cream. I started with 6 pancakes covered in whipped cream. Next, I had panna cotta, a plate of mini cakes, yogurt, and chocolate drink. I quickly finished them before they were taken away. For the second round, I had meat and side dishes. Of course, I also had Japanese staples like tamagoyaki, grilled fish, natto, and shumai. It was strange that there were so few types of bread at a meat fair, but I guess that's how it goes. For dessert, I topped off with whipped cream on the chocolate drink. Check out the images for more details. It was a feast by Lotte! This time, they served ganache truffles and Hershey's chocolate. I had three of each. I will definitely go back again before exploring Tokyo.

I heard that you can visit here without staying at the hotel, so I stopped by. They have koala plush toys, which I think families with children would enjoy even more. They offer sweet chocolates and snacks, which I think make for a unique breakfast experience. I'm a bit concerned about the calories, but indulging once in a while is okay, right? If you love sweets and are a fan of Lotte snacks, you should definitely go.

I'm sorry for the low photo quality. I visited when they were collaborating with Koala's March. It felt like a regular buffet, haha. It was quite crowded, probably because of the collaboration. It was cute, but the food wasn't particularly delicious.

I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while, with the plan to go there if Japan won against Belgium in the World Cup match. Unfortunately, Japan lost in a historic defeat, so I gave up on that plan. However, I decided to visit the restaurant earlier than planned due to work commitments. I took the first train from Atsugi to Shinjuku, and then to Kinshicho. I had breakfast at a buffet restaurant in Lotte Hotel, where I was disappointed to find that they didn't have fried chicken. Despite that, I enjoyed the variety of food they offered. The coffee was average, but the service was great, with Lotte products as souvenirs and complimentary coffee to take away. Overall, I would consider visiting again, but they must have fried chicken next time for a perfect score.

The morning buffet at Lotte City Hotel is hosted by Charlotte. It's a slightly cheaper option for guests. The selection is limited with both Japanese and Western dishes, but they make up for it with sweet treats. They offer 3 types of cakes, Koala-shaped pancakes, a chocolate fountain with Lotte snacks, ice cream, and chocolate drinks. They even have sweet bread and curry with chocolate gravy sauce. The terrace seats offer a nice view of Kinshicho Station, especially on sunny days. They also have souvenirs available. And don't forget the café au lait for those times when you're in the mood for something sweeter than usual. How about that for a change of pace?
