2022.1.10 First visit. I finally stayed at the Lotte Hotel, which I had always wanted to visit. And this time, it came true with the dream of an all-you-can-eat ice cream plan at Lotte! It was pure bliss for me, who loves ice cream so much, to be able to have as much as I want, as many times as I want. However, the lineup was mainly different flavors like vanilla and chocolate, like Snow Daifuku, so I wish there were more varieties of brands... But enough of that, let's talk about the main topic, the breakfast buffet! From check-in the day before to bedtime, I indulged in all-you-can-eat ice cream, and now I'm fully ready for the buffet! I arrived at the venue a little before opening, and there were already about 5 groups waiting. Shortly after, we were called into the restaurant. We were seated quite close to the shelf decorated with March-kun, which I had seen online a few times, but I wished we were right behind the shelf... As a COVID-19 measure, only up to 8 people were allowed in the buffet area, and if there were more than 8, we had to wait in line. The staff counted the number of people and guided us at the right time. While waiting, we were given gloves for both hands. With gloves on both hands, let the food fight begin! There were about 20 varieties of Japanese and Western side dishes, and for desserts, there were 5 in total, including the highlight March-kun's pancakes, mousse and ganache made with Ghana chocolate, and more. There was also ice cream! First, I decorated March-kun's pancakes, my top priority at the buffet, with whipped cream and toppings like Toppo, Pocky, and Koala's March. As for the taste, honestly, I wasn't expecting much, and I was right... It was dry and not delicious... The Koala's March without filling, which I knew was not filled with chocolate inside, was not as tasty as the filled one... The other desserts didn't impress me much either. The side dishes were generally to my liking. I couldn't get enough of the scrambled eggs, they were so delicious that I had multiple servings! The kinpira burdock was quite flavorful. I personally found it very delicious, but those who prefer lighter flavors might find it too salty! My favorite was the chocolate drink made with Ghana chocolate! As the desserts were quite ordinary, I didn't expect much, but it was incredibly delicious! It was so rich and thick that it accumulated quite a bit at the bottom of the glass, making me want to drink it with a straw! It was so rich that I preferred the ice cream version over the hot one. This is not cocoa, but a genuine "chocolate drink"! Overall, I'm satisfied! Due to COVID-19 measures, there may be some waiting to get the food, but since the buffet area is quite small, I thought limiting the number of people might make it more spacious and easier to access the food. The accommodation cost is not that high, so I would like to repeat the experience! *I forgot to take pictures of dishes other than March-kun's pancakes because I was in a rush to get them!
