I am satisfied with the sushi for 2246 yen including tax! The sushi pieces were thicker than I expected, and they had a strong presence. The point is that they don't particularly focus on the rice. I had medium fatty tuna, tuna (large piece), squid, yellowtail, raw shrimp, salmon (large piece), conger eel, sea urchin, salmon roe, and sliced egg (made with medium fatty tuna). The medium fatty tuna was not too heavy, and the tuna was also delicious. I don't like squid, so I asked for mackerel instead! The 421 yen chawanmushi was fresh and full of ingredients, and the fluffy egg made me happy. The advantage of delivery is that you can adjust the amount of rice yourself, which is perfect for someone like me who likes to eat at their own pace. Depending on the area you order from, the size of the sushi pieces may vary slightly. In any case, this is our go-to place for family gatherings, so we will continue to rely on it.

I ordered a silver plate delivery for the midsummer day of the ox. I made a reservation the day before and got a 5% discount. I chose the eel rice bowl (large) which was a bit pricey, but I was conscious of that. The dish came in a cheap-looking container, but the fluffy eel meat was simply irresistible.

I often go to Sushiro and Hamazushi, but recently they don't have engawa or sea urchin. So, for my wife who loves engawa, I chose a bucket with engawa in it because it was our anniversary. By the way, sea urchin was too expensive to afford.

Recently, I've been going to Sushiro for sushi all the time, but I had something good happen so I decided to splurge at Gin no Sara, which is a bit more upscale. The photo shows two servings. They were having a special event called Otoro Festival, so there are Otoro nigiri and gunkan in there. The fish here is big and really good.

When ordering sushi for delivery, a gathering is called. They ordered a higher quality "ogi" than usual. There's a coupon that can only be used on weekdays or so they say. It's been a while since they had non-conveyor belt sushi delivered. The toppings include tuna, medium fatty tuna, yellowtail, salmon, fatty salmon, shrimp, scallop, salmon roe, white shrimp, and eel, among others. The rice and toppings are on the larger side. They prefer the sushi rice to be a bit more vinegary, but they are very satisfied with the taste and quality.

It's a peony bucket. It includes a limited-time "King Salmon" nigiri and a battleship called "Shira Uo from Lake Kasumigaura." It's on the cheaper side but still expensive (bitter smile)

I watched a TV show (recorded) and suddenly had a craving for eel. I had an eel rice bowl at a sushi restaurant, and it was so delicious with the eel being tender and boneless. It felt like such a luxurious treat.
