On this day, I went to Tachikawa for some errands after a long time. First, I decided to stop by at Donki Bar♪ But wait, it's closed down!! The store has completely disappeared (ノД`). Feeling shocked, I wandered around the north exit. Then, I found a non-chain individual restaurant offering happy hour drinks without a seating charge until 6 pm! So, I decided to visit for the first time around 4 pm on a Sunday♪ The place has 150 seats, but it seems to be reserved from 6 pm. They confirmed the time limit, but since I just wanted a casual drink, it was all good for me. I took off my shoes and put them in the shoebox, then I was guided to a 4-person table that resembled a box seat. I ordered a half-priced Kinmugi draft beer for 240 yen during happy hour, along with Koshu Kenmi chicken liver for 480 yen and grilled tuna throat meat for 680 yen. The food menu mostly ranged from 500 to 600 yen, with some items in the 300 yen range. The drink prices were normal, with draft and bottled beer at 580 yen, whiskey from 480 yen, and chu-hai from 480 yen. The happy hour drink menu was half-priced, making it a good value for money. I noticed that even Hoppy was included in the half-priced offer, meaning a set with two drinks would only cost 420 yen! It was a great deal! The Kinmugi draft beer arrived quickly, followed by the chicken liver and grilled tuna. The chicken liver was nicely presented with a sprinkling of salt, and the grilled tuna had a good amount of flavor and volume. I enjoyed both dishes. I also ordered a glass of wine for 240 yen, a half-priced Ginhiran sake for 330 yen, and a half-priced Kakunotsuru whiskey soda for 240 yen during happy hour. The restaurant mainly had box seats, and the atmosphere was lively but not too noisy. The background music was trendy and not too loud. Towards the end, I noticed a menu specifically for solo diners, starting from 200 yen, which I wish I had seen earlier for better value. Overall, this individual restaurant in Tachikawa offers a good deal during happy hour, especially for solo diners. Thank you for the meal~
