It seems that it is less crowded in the morning. I ordered an iced tea and the delicious-looking plate from the birthday coupon, which included three items: Kihachi trifle roll, a beautifully balanced and colorful plate with five fruits - strawberry, banana, kiwi, papaya, mango, and a moist souffle roll cake with two types of cream. The Basque cheesecake had a crispy surface and was creamy and rich. The cream was not too sweet and delicious! The strawberry ice cream had a rich strawberry flavor with basil on top, which was a delicious and addictive combination. I would like to visit again for the limited afternoon tea starting at 2:00 p.m.

I really wanted to try the white peach pie special starting at 2 pm, so I originally planned to order it a la carte, but since there aren't many options for afternoon tea for one person, I upgraded to the full-size pie version with afternoon tea. I wished there were some savory items to balance out the sweets, but the cream was not too sweet and didn't overpower the peach flavor. The custard cream in the white peach pie and the crispy crust were particularly impressive. I chose black tea for my drink, but I wish they had given a bit more since it was served in a pot (although refills were available for a small fee). By the time I finished eating and went to pay, the afternoon tea set was already sold out, so I was lucky to have made it in time. I heard that starting from September 7th, they will have a Shine Muscat fair. I plan to use the app to get a free drink next time.

The majority of the line consisted of women in their 40s and 50s. I managed to get in on the first round by queuing at the entrance next to the store (the Takarazuka entrance) instead of the front entrance (near Peninsula). About 90% of the line was sucked into Ki-Hachi. After studying the current menu the day before, I found out that the afternoon tea starts at 14:00. The peach Napoleon pie-like item is also available from 14:00 onwards. When I downloaded the app, it said I could get a free drink, but it turns out it can only be used the next day. Since peaches are no longer in season and I didn't want to regret it if they weren't sweet, I opted for pasta! The friend I went with chose the peach parfait. It came in a thin glass with peaches only on one side. I ordered: - Cold spaghetti with white peach, prosciutto, and mozzarella cheese for 1,760 yen - Drink set for 550 yen There was a bit of yellow sauce at the bottom of the pasta. It was surprisingly a butter sauce, I think? The pasta was cooked perfectly. I prefer the ingredients to be marinated a bit more, but the lack of uniformity made each bite feel fresh, which was nice. I had recently tried the afternoon tea at the Aoyama branch of Ki-Hachi and it was decent, but I guess that's about it.

I arrived around 13:20 and was informed by the staff that they start serving at 14:00 and almost sell out immediately due to limited quantities. There is a 90-minute time limit for dining, and even if someone is already inside, they can place an order when it's time, risking items being sold out. There were some empty seats, so I decided to wait a bit before entering. Finally, I managed to get my hands on the "Peach Afternoon Tea" I was after. It was a two-tiered set with a cute presentation. The top tier included white peach mini parfait, white peach pudding a la mode, brownie with fresh cream, and two types of cookies (black sesame and vanilla). The bottom tier had a KIHACHI trifle roll (half size), lychee sorbet, and white peach caprese. You could also opt to switch the bottom tier items for a special version featuring KIHACHI's white peach pie in full size. The price was reasonable at 2,640 yen including coffee or tea. I particularly enjoyed the homemade feel of the pudding with peach compote and the not overly sweet peach parfait. The KIHACHI trifle roll was a favorite as always. The neighboring diners opted for the white peach pie, which was quite large. The only savory item was the white peach caprese, which would have paired well with sparkling wine. I look forward to trying the chestnut-themed afternoon tea next time!

I wanted to try the white peach pie for dessert, but it's only available after 2 pm, so I opted for the "Peach Melba Crepe with vanilla ice cream" instead. Cold peach pasta is really delicious with the perfect combination of sweetness from the peach, saltiness from the prosciutto, acidity from the tomato, and smoothness from the olive oil. It's perfect for summer. The peach season is coming to an end, so I wonder if I'll be able to have it again this year...

I went there a little after 3 o'clock. I was seated right away and chose the Sweets Set where I could choose various desserts. I picked the Ki-Hachi Trifle Roll and the special egg pudding. Needless to say, they were delicious! The Trifle Roll was so thin, maybe less than a centimeter thick, so next time I might just get that. I love the gentle sweetness. The pudding was also firm, which I like. Thank you, Ki-Hachi!

I was debating between a selection of baked goods, but then I saw a cute cat on a round box and couldn't resist. While at my parents' house, I also watched a live stream. It was a rerun of a show that I was deeply impressed by almost 30 years ago! I love Director Masahiko Shozuka's work, so I couldn't help myself. And it was performed by the Hana-gumi troupe. I often hear about plans in Hibiya, but this time I lined up for the Napoleon pie I've been wanting to try. The Napoleon pie has a subtle sweetness in the custard and whip, allowing you to fully taste the strawberry and pie flavors. The pie crust is crispy and pairs well with the custard. The atmosphere is great and there is plenty of space at the table, making it my favorite restaurant.

I ordered a Napoleon pie in addition to the lunch set C. You can choose between salad and soup! It was satisfying with a good amount of food. However, they forgot to bring the dessert from the set, and the drink I ordered came with the sweets. Overall, including the service, it was just average.
