Vinylon, a French & Wine Bar in Yakuin, is a long-standing establishment located about a 3-minute walk from Nishitetsu Yakuin Station on the 2nd floor of a building. The restaurant has been open for about 15 years now. It has a casual atmosphere and reasonable prices, making it a place I visit frequently. On this particular Saturday, my family and I visited to celebrate a special occasion. We chose a few dishes each from the appetizer and main menu to share. For appetizers, we had Fresh Fish Carpaccio with Fruit Tomato Pistou Sauce, Iberico Ham and Seasonal Vegetable Salad, and Foie Gras Terrine Caramelized. For mains, we enjoyed Lobster and Fish Quenelle with Nantua Sauce and Pan-Seared Veal Fillet with Chasseur Sauce. The dishes were all delicious, showcasing the consistent quality of this long-standing restaurant. The Foie Gras Terrine Caramelized was particularly delightful with the accompanying fig. The Lobster and Fish Quenelle, though small in portion, was flavorful with the Nantua Sauce. We finished our meal with a Marle (dessert for everyone except me) and left satisfied. Vinylon is known for its excellent wine selection, and I look forward to returning for more delicious food and wine. Additionally, they offered Chateau Brane-Cantenac, a Second Growth Medoc wine, by the glass, which is a rare treat. The bread served was from Setrebon in Hirao.

You can relax in a calm atmosphere and enjoy French cuisine and wine. Today, I tried the 6000 yen course. For the appetizer, I ordered foie gras terrine with caramelized truffle omelette. For the main course, I ordered red wine-braised beef cheek and roasted veal. The foie gras was crispy and rich in flavor. The veal was tender. Overall, the dishes had a rich and satisfying taste. It was delicious!

Vinyulon, a wine dining in Yakuin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, is a place where you can enjoy a meal, but also just stop by for a light glass of champagne. They offer a wide variety of champagnes at a good cost performance. You can also see the kitchen and enjoy delicious meals at this restaurant. ^_^

I was invited to a dining experience at this restaurant. The interior is small, with only the owner chef preparing each dish with great care. The presentation of the dishes was impressive, with a citrusy aroma filling the air in the restaurant. The appetizer, made with seafood from the Genkainada Sea and a refreshing lime scent, effectively eliminated any fishy smell while also providing a sense of freshness. I was impressed by the attention to detail. I slightly regretted not choosing fish instead of meat, but the Pate de Campagne was also excellent. The steak was a bit heavy on the fat, but it was balanced out nicely by a red wine. I'm not a wine connoisseur, just a lover of alcohol, so I left the wine choices to the owner and enjoyed the three different flavors. Today's champagne, the champagne from Yasunoin, a heavy red wine to pair with the meat, and finally, a sherry to finish off. Fukuoka is truly a competitive area for dining. Thanks to everyone's reviews, I have been able to discover great restaurants, and I am grateful for that.

Christmas dinner was priced at 12,000 yen, and we had a red and white bottle of wine each for around 5,000 yen, totaling 35,000 yen. The taste was not bad, but considering the price, it was not worth it. What's more, the service from the staff was lacking for this price range. There was no menu explanation, the order and payment process were disorganized. Also, while it's nice to have unlimited bread refills, having butter available would be better. Overall, I won't be returning.

Bistro wine bar located in Yakuin, Fukuoka. It leans more towards a French restaurant rather than a bistro. The wine list is fantastic, and you can enjoy dishes that pair well with the wine. The food is also very good. Most importantly, the dishes are affordable. If you want to enjoy high-quality French wine and dishes that pair well with it, this place in Fukuoka comes highly recommended.

A famous French restaurant near Yakuin. The restaurant is small and cozy. You can either choose the chef's course menu or create your own course by selecting appetizers and mains a la carte. Despite being a French restaurant, they also offer pasta which is a nice touch. They have a wide selection of wines displayed in the center, perfect for wine lovers. Each dish has a generous portion and offers great value for money. The pasta, served as an appetizer, is actually quite filling like a main dish. The casual atmosphere and reasonable prices make it easy to enjoy a satisfying meal. While it may not accommodate large groups, it is a great choice for a small group looking to enjoy French cuisine.

Yesterday, my wife and I visited a shop that caught our interest. We ordered the prefix course, which included two appetizers and three main dishes. For the appetizers, we had fresh fish carpaccio and cream pasta (smoked salmon and asparagus in cream sauce). For the main dishes, we had red wine-braised wagyu beef cheek, veal fillet, and pan-seared foie gras. We also had beer, wine (champagne, red, white) set. The carpaccio was delicious with a basil sauce that added a nice flavor. The cream pasta had a good aroma of smoked salmon and the asparagus was crunchy yet tender. The foie gras had a mild taste without a strong liver flavor, making it suitable even for those who are not fans of foie gras. The wagyu beef cheek was incredibly tender and could be easily enjoyed with a spoon. The veal was also very tasty. The champagne, red, and white wines were all delicious as well. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food was delicious, and the drinks were plentiful and tasty. There is no reason not to visit this place again. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited Vinylon for the fourth time. The wine cellar at the entrance was impressive, and the calm atmosphere with soothing music was great. I was seated at a table by the window where I could see outside. I ordered a Sapporo Edelpils beer and a glass of medium-bodied wine from Australia. For food, I had fresh fish carpaccio with cherry tomatoes, seared scallops, seared veal fillet, and lobster and fish dumpling carpaccio. The cherry tomatoes and basil sauce with the flounder were a good combination. The scallops were served with a porcini mushroom sauce, which was rich and delicious. The veal fillet was tender and paired well with the Madeira wine and mushroom sauce. The lobster and fish dumpling had a rich sauce made of fish mousse and lobster, which went well with the red wine. It was a relaxing Sunday evening, and I enjoyed the calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I visited Vinylon located at 1-24-24 Takasago, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, on the 2nd floor of F Corazon Yakuin. As you enter the store, you'll see a wine cellar with a wide variety of wines. The interior is stylish, and from the 2nd floor, you can overlook the downstairs through the glass. I started with a toast of draft beer (Sapporo Edelpils Super Premium Draft Beer for 700 yen). The drink menu offers a wide selection of wines. The appetizer was olives. For dishes, I tried the fresh fish carpaccio with fruit tomato pistou sauce for 1300 yen, which had a strong basil flavor. The pan-fried scallops with wild mushroom velouté for 1600 yen had a delicious porcini sauce. The scallops were large and tasty. Bread was also served, which may have been included in the appetizer. I also tried the lobster and fish quenelle with Nantua sauce for 2300 yen, which had a rich sauce complementing the fish mousse and lobster. The pan-fried veal fillet with mushroom a la creme for 2300 yen had a tender fillet, but I felt it could use a bit more salt for seasoning. I also had a glass of Italian wine. Next time, I plan to try their course menu. I felt there was a lack of explanation about the wines and dishes. Thank you for the meal.

It was a French bistro where you can enjoy incredibly amazing wines at a quite reasonable price. They patiently wait for famous chateaux and domains' wonderful wines to mature before serving them. You can choose a wine and pair it with a solid bistro menu. Highly recommended for wine lovers. By the way, they also serve surprisingly high-level glass wines.

If you want to entertain a wine-loving client in late autumn 2018, this place might be a good choice. It's relaxed and you can easily choose from a variety of options. For example, the set menu of 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes for 7000 yen includes dishes like "Foie Gras Terrine with Caramelized Figs" and "Pan-Fried Fish with Mont Saint-Michel Mussels." The dishes are well-balanced and the wine selection is great. Overall, it's a casual and enjoyable dining experience.

During my time in Fukuoka, I often enjoyed drinking in the Yakuin and Hirao areas. Personally, I found that there were many small, charming restaurants in this quieter region compared to the bustling areas of Tenjin, Nakasu, and Hakata. It's a great spot for training your "girl power"! This restaurant is also popular for its French cuisine. You can casually order dishes a la carte, like the delicious sautéed sea bass and crab with consommé jelly. The stuffed pork offal dish called Andouillette is a must-try, and don't forget to order the caramelized foie gras. Dining at such a place is a great way to enhance your girl power in Fukuoka! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I went to Fukuoka for work. I visited at night. It wasn't too crowded, maybe because it was a weekday. I sat at the counter, had a meal, and drank wine. Since there weren't many customers that day, I was able to have a nice chat with the owner-sommelier. If I have another business trip, I would like to visit again.

The portions were generous and all the dishes were delicious. We happened to visit when there were no other customers on the floor, so we were able to relax. It would be nice if they could offer a wider variety of desserts and drinks. We will visit again.
