Just a 1-2 minute walk from Sumiyoshi Station, this Western confectionery shop is located in a residential area slightly off Komatsu Bridge Street. While they also have a café, I opted to take out some pastries this time. I was expecting mainly strawberry cakes, but they actually had a wide variety of options. I got the Mocha Eclair, which uses mocha cream instead of custard. It had a nice coffee flavor, giving it an adult-like taste. The Antlerme Chocolat was a chocolate cake topped with strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, making for a stylish and elegant design. Inside was a smooth chocolate mousse. The Apple Tart was a simple tart with apple set in gelatin. The tart crust was delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness. I'd like to try their lunch at the café next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the shop in the early afternoon on a regular day. The shop is a quiet Western confectionery store with a cafe located in a back alley. They sell a variety of cakes at reasonable prices, and the taste matches the price. The shop has a glamorous exterior but is quietly situated in a residential area, offering take-out options. They had a wide variety of cakes available. I bought a strawberry shortcake, fig tart, and cheesecake, all of which were small and priced around 400 yen, which I think is reasonable. The shortcake had a dry sponge and overly sweet cream, lacking a good mouthfeel. The strawberry was nicely sandwiched inside though. The fig tart had fig jam on top, but the fig flavor was subtle, overpowered by the sweetness. The cheesecake was tasty but reminded me of the texture and taste of a childhood snack called "Cooloon." Overall, the cakes were not bad but felt a bit cheap. They were inexpensive, so my opinion may be biased. I remember the shortcake I had before they moved was quite delicious.

Visited for the first time on Sunday afternoon. Located in a residential area. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and open, so we were able to enter without waiting. I tried the autumn limited menu, the autumn mushroom gratin. It had a classic flavor, and paired well with the toast, making it a delicious and cost-effective meal.

Visited for the first time in the afternoon on a regular day. Ordered cheesecake, chocolate cake, and crème brûlée. Started with a bite of the cheesecake. Disappointed by the lack of smoothness, it felt somewhat floury. The amount of cheese inside was mediocre, and the raisins felt out of place. It almost felt like eating bread halfway through. Tried the crème brûlée for a palate cleanser. It had a crispy caramel top and a smooth creamy texture, a classic and delicious flavor. You could visibly see the vanilla beans, which was a nice touch. Perhaps a signature item as the previous customer also purchased it. Moving on to the chocolate cake, it was even less smooth than the cheesecake, which was disheartening. It crumbled with each forkful and had a powdery texture. The chocolate flavor was lacking, and it felt more like a cake from a bakery. There was a strange taste that I couldn't quite place, perhaps due to additives or the chocolate itself, which I personally didn't enjoy. I stopped after a few bites. Lastly, I tried the fruit toppings, hoping for a refreshing taste, but the fruits lacked juiciness and freshness. They only had a sour taste. Despite the cute appearance, the cakes didn't suit my taste, and I wished for more attention to detail in their creations. I prefer the cakes at a nearby bakery called "Schwäne" in the same price range for better quality. However, the crème brûlée was enjoyable, so I recommend trying it if you get the chance.

This is a cake shop with a café attached. I visited again because I had a delicious tiramisu before. - Matcha Cake: Creamy and rich in flavor. You can really taste the matcha. It has a lemony sauce on top that adds a nice tangy touch. I also liked the whole chestnut on top. - Gateau Chocolat: It's on the moist side. The size is small. There are quite a few varieties, and it seems like they change frequently. I want to try other cakes as well.

I have bought cakes there before, but it seems they also have a café, so I decided to visit again. The warm and cozy atmosphere inside was bustling with families despite the ongoing pandemic. I tried the winter limited lunch set, which included pumpkin gratin. When I think of gratin, I imagine it with pasta, but this one only had vegetables (*´꒳`*) It suited my taste as it had plenty of white sauce. Pumpkin in gratin is delicious! It came with buttered toast, which was simple yet very tasty ❤︎ Next time, I want to try the cake set with an empty stomach.

The cakes they sell as souvenirs after eating at this restaurant are amazing. There are many varieties, but I highly recommend the sweet potato cake. It is voluminous and packed with filling, which I love. I discovered that it is delicious even when warmed up, so I enjoy trying out different ways to eat it. I look forward to enjoying it in the future as well.

The cake was really delicious. There were many different types of cakes, but I still prefer shortcake, especially during strawberry season. The sponge was a bit firm, but overall it was a tasty cake. The whipped cream was smooth and just about to melt, so maybe they intentionally made the sponge a bit firmer. The blended coffee was also delicious, with a strong flavor and no bitterness. It was a nice touch to have a designated smoking room as well. I found a great place to relax.

A shop tucked away in a back alley. I visited for the first time since it moved a few years ago. It's a great place to buy fresh sweets for around 300 yen, perfect for everyday use.

Lucky Start, who has a sweet tooth, discovered a hidden gem dessert shop. The strawberry shortcake there is a lucky star rating. The sweet and slightly sour strawberries create a perfect harmony with the sweet sponge cake. It's amazing.

It's a cafe run by a cake shop. Located in a residential area, it has a hidden gem vibe. The exterior may be hard to spot, but inside, the ceiling is high and tables are spaciously arranged. The lunch set comes with a drink, offering options like gratin or pasta, and for an additional 200 yen, you can add a dessert which is a great deal! With affordable prices, it seems to be a popular spot among locals.

Because there is a smoking area, the entire restaurant smells like cigarettes, and the cake is too sweet.
