Unlike the approachable packaging of Happy Turn found in convenience stores, "HAPPY Turn's" exudes a slightly luxurious atmosphere! There were a total of six flavors available, but I was a bit wary of the sweet ones, so I opted for the safe choices of "Cheese" and "Onion Consomme." Both flavors had an abundance of Happy Powder and incredibly fine, fluffy texture. I was able to enjoy the rich flavors of each, but they didn't quite become a topic of conversation...

"Happy Turns" has had sweet flavors like "Wasanbon" and "Caramel Chocolat" in the past, mainly enjoyed as snacks. However, on this day in mid-July, there were limited edition flavors lined up at the store that seemed more suitable as a drinking snack than a snack. The ones I bought this time were "Edamame" and "Corn". The "Edamame" uses powder made from a variety of edamame called "Dadacha Mame" from Yamagata Prefecture, and had a rich aroma and umami just like freshly boiled edamame. On the other hand, the "Corn" uses powder from Hokkaido's Super Sweet Corn, with salt and butter enhancing the natural sweetness of the corn.
