Arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Saturday. Had an early dinner with a friend. There were few customers, so I took a photo of the counter. The rounded iron plate created a theatrical atmosphere that was impressive. The Kobe beef was presented first, showcasing its beautiful marbling. The bite-sized sukiyaki was delicious with a refined sweet sauce. The Kobe beef assortment included Kobe beef tsukudani, roast beef, and a refreshing ponzu sauce. The roast beef paired well with wasabi, garlic, and ginger condiments. The tail soup felt light after the rich meat appetizers. The salad with homemade mayonnaise and special dressing was tasty. The grilled vegetables, made with onions from Awaji Island, were sweet and juicy. The main Kobe beef was cooked to the chef's recommended doneness, between medium and medium rare. The meat had a light richness compared to other wagyu beef. The garlic rice, finished with Kobe beef fat, had a unique texture with small pieces of scallop. For dessert, a refreshing mix of raspberries, blueberries, melon, and vanilla ice cream was served. The chef was elegant and made the dining experience pleasant. The meal ended with a farewell from the chef, leaving the restaurant feeling satisfied. Highly recommend this restaurant!

During the pandemic, I haven't visited restaurants much and have been mostly ordering takeout. However, I recently visited this place after a long time. The hamburger here is truly one-of-a-kind, juicy and fluffy. Once you try it, you'll be hooked. The sauce with leeks and miso is also amazing. I always ask for garlic rice with my meal. It's always delicious no matter when you eat it. The set comes with soup, salad, and dessert, so the lunch deal is great. (Today, I drank wine in moderation, so the bill was lower, haha)

I thought it was a delicious restaurant, but the quality of the meat was disappointing. We didn't even drink wine and ended up paying around 90,000 yen for two people, but I am not satisfied at all with this quality. I was planning to recommend the restaurant if it was delicious, but at this level, it is not worth recommending... I heard that the sauce was good, but even that was not at a high level...

Kawamura, famous for its teppanyaki Kobe beef, was a restaurant I had been curious about for a while. This time, I visited the Roppongi store, which had also been a battle venue for the NTV show "Gurunai Gotchi ni Narimasu" in the past. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by suit-clad staff in an elegant atmosphere. I had reserved a course lunch with a drink included, so I was asked if I wanted red wine, rice, or bread. I chose red wine, rice, and coffee for after the meal. First, I was served red wine and the course lunch's potage, followed by a fresh vegetable salad. Then, a thick slice of Kobe beef and vegetables were brought to the teppan in front of my seat, and the chef kindly explained each ingredient. The onions were from Awaji Island, the garlic from Aomori Prefecture, and the soy sauce was Kawamura's special blend. The teppan-grilled Kobe beef, vegetables, rice, and the red miso soup served with it, as well as the dessert at the end, were all delicious. I had initially thought that 100g of meat might not be enough, but it was satisfying and left me feeling full. When leaving the restaurant, the chef even saw me off, making me feel grateful. I truly felt that it was a great decision to come here today, with the excellent hospitality and meal. I would definitely like to visit again. I had reserved the special selection Kobe beef rump steak lunch for 5,280 yen, which included red wine (drink service), potage, 100g of special selection Kobe beef rump steak, grilled vegetables, seasonal salad, rice, miso soup, pickles, dessert, and coffee.

We used it for a banquet. Three of us entered a private room for five people and enjoyed Kobe beef steak in a spacious private space. The appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, soup, grilled vegetables, and steak were all dishes that maximized the flavor of the meat with simple seasoning.

I wanted to eat delicious teppanyaki, so I went to Kawamura, which has many private rooms. I ordered the special Kobe beef rump steak lunch. I personally wanted to eat it rare, but the medium rare was also delicious. The garlic miso sauce was exquisite. The cauliflower potage was also delicious. One of the staff members seemed to have a slight hand tremor and appeared a bit irritable, which was a bit concerning. Overall, I think it's a good place to go for lunch. Thank you for the meal!

We celebrated a family birthday by making a lunch reservation and eating "Beefteki". The place is "Beefteki no Kawamura" in Roppongi. "Beefteki" has a nice Showa era feel to it. It's located around the back of Midtown. There are several tables surrounded by teppan grills that can accommodate 4-5 people, and we were led to a semi-private room. With our lunch reservation, we were served a complimentary first drink. I had white wine. The corn potage soup was full of sweetness and umami, very comforting. I ordered the Special Tajima Beef Ribeye Steak Lunch. The difference between Tajima beef and Kobe beef is that Kobe beef is basically all Tajima beef, but the ones that meet certain conditions are selected as Kobe beef. You can enjoy the seared Special Tajima Beef at your preferred seasoning. It was tender and smooth, delicious. I shared the hamburger and Tajima beef with my family. The hamburger was beautifully presented and breaded very nicely. The seasonal salad and homemade mayonnaise were delicious. The grilled vegetables were cooked skillfully on the teppan grill in front of us. The onions were from Awaji Island and were undeniably delicious. The chef seemed to understand the atmosphere and provided attentive hospitality. The Kobe/Tajima Beef Hamburger was finely ground and exquisitely cooked, very delicious. The Tajima Beef Ribeye Steak was cooked to perfection and had the best taste and texture. It was so delicious that it was almost sad when it was finished. The seasoning options were soy sauce, rock salt, and miso with leeks. The rock salt seemed to enhance the flavor of the meat the most. I ordered the Garlic Rice (+1,000 yen), which was fragrant and appetizing. The red miso soup and pickles were also delicious. The surprise birthday plate was a nice touch, and I enjoyed the dessert as well. The gelato with cranberries and pistachios was rich and flavorful. The coffee after the meal was also delicious. The service, food, cooking methods, and hospitality were all well thought out, making it a luxurious and enjoyable experience from start to finish. It was a lunch that offered value beyond its price. Visited with about 10 friends. The tall, middle-aged Japanese waiter had a terrible attitude. It was very unpleasant. The taste did not match the price. It was greasy and not delicious. It was so bad that we left it halfway through. Cannot recommend. Thank you.

This is a Kobe beef specialty restaurant located a 5-minute walk from Exit 4a of Roppongi Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and a 2-minute walk from Exit 6 of Roppongi Station on the Toei Oedo Line. Despite being a high-end restaurant suitable for business dinners, the atmosphere inside is bright and not too formal. As a thank you to a business contact who has been very helpful, I visited "Bifteki no Kawamura" for lunch. Originally, I had planned to invite them for dinner, but considering they are newlyweds, I opted for lunch instead (laughs). We ordered the "Special Kobe Beef Ribeye Steak Lunch" for two at 12,100 yen. The meat was incredibly tender, flavorful, and we enjoyed the beautiful marbling. My guest was delighted and said it "melts in the mouth," and I found myself enjoying the luxury even more, making me love Kobe beef even more. The only regret was not knowing they had a wide selection of wines that pair well with Kobe beef, so I plan to bring this contact back for dinner next time.

I love this lunch-only hamburger so much that I visit regularly. The finely minced beef hamburger is cooked juicy on the teppan grill, with a fluffy texture like tartare. The rice is always upgraded to garlic rice for an additional 1000 yen. Ordering a half bottle of wine during lunch is just right for two people, so we always order it and end up drinking while snacking on the garlic rice, haha. The soup that changes with the seasons was "burdock" today, and it was also an exquisite taste. I want to go again next month.

I visited this restaurant for a meal. They showed me live Ise ebi (spiny lobster) before cooking it right in front of me. The meat dishes were all delicious. I also had their hamburger for lunch, which was great. I ordered garlic rice, and they cooked the garlic in oil from scratch and served it to me at the perfect timing. Each dish had a live cooking element, which was really enjoyable. The private rooms were quiet and perfect for a date or business meal. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to trying their lunch menu next time.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, I suddenly felt like having a steak and decided to go to Kawamura in Roppongi with my family. We opted for the lunch course, which included carefully prepared Japanese fillet and sirloin beef. The doneness of the meat was left up to the chef, but it was tender and brought out the maximum flavor of the meat, making my mouth water. It was a delightful time spent with my family. Thank you for the wonderful meal. We will definitely come back again.

I don't often have lunch in Roppongi, but a friend took me to a restaurant there that she said served delicious food she had in Kobe! As we descended the stairs, we found a hidden, quiet, and modern restaurant, with a stylish and adult atmosphere inside! Watching the meat being grilled right in front of us, which is one of the highlights of teppanyaki, was a truly happy moment! We enjoyed a delicious meat lunch in a private room, accompanied by red wine. The timing of the soup, salad, and meat coming out was just right, and the care shown by the staff when ordering the next dish, starting from the sparkling wine, was wonderful. The tenderness of the meat, which we asked to be cooked rare, was exquisite, and we had a luxurious lunch from noon! There are many private rooms and a counter, making it a restaurant that would make women happy if they were brought here on a date!

Kawamura, a high-end teppanyaki restaurant with locations in Kansai and Tokyo, offers the finest Kobe beef. They also have private rooms for small groups and welcome families with children. I enjoyed delicious dishes such as lobster, abalone, and Kobe beef. With private rooms, a dedicated chef, and premium ingredients, the food was amazing. I regret not being able to drink alcohol this time. My companions enjoyed expensive wine, but we split the bill evenly. I'll have to come back for a drink next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Located in a corner of a dining street to the right on the way from Roppongi Station to Midtown, this restaurant is dedicated to serving Kobe beef that meets strict criteria to be able to be called as such. The Roppongi branch is known as a high-class establishment. The dishes are prepared on a teppan without any partitions right in front of you. Starting from creative teppanyaki dishes and salads, the highlight is the Kobe beef steak. While it may not stand out among teppanyaki restaurants at this price level, you will likely feel satisfied with the dinner. There is a slight retro charm, which may appeal to older customers. I enjoyed dinner at Kawamura, a teppanyaki restaurant in Roppongi. A friend who is staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel recommended it, so the three of us went there. This place seems to be the best spot in Roppongi for authentic Kobe beef. The restaurant is located on the basement floor, with a beautiful waiting room. We were seated at the counter, where the chef cooked vegetables and meat on the teppan in front of us. The chef was from Seoul, fluent in Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean. The waiter was from the Philippines, able to speak Tagalog. We ordered the Kobe beef steak sets, ranging from 20,000 to 29,000 yen. For drinks, we chose a barrel-aged Sakuramasamune sake for around 6,000 yen. We started with an amuse-bouche on a heat-resistant plastic bag on the teppan, followed by a colorful and delicious salad. The vegetables were grilled beautifully, and the Kobe beef was amazing, cooked to medium-rare perfection. We ended the meal with garlic rice, red miso soup, and pickles. As it was one person's birthday, they surprised us with a dessert featuring fireworks. Kawamura is highly recommended for delicious Kobe beef. The price was very reasonable and the rating on Tabelog wasn't that high, so I didn't have high expectations, but it was really good! The hamburger lunch was cooked slowly and carefully on an iron plate, using Kobe beef and delicious cuts. It came with soup, salad, grilled vegetables, dessert, tea or coffee, and even a tea snack, all for that price, so I was very satisfied. The staff were attentive and friendly, which was nice. This is a Kobe beef restaurant. I have been to the Ginza branch for dinner and it was delicious, so I was aiming for lunch at the Roppongi branch. I wanted to try the sirloin, but since I have plans for eating out at night as well, I opted for the lean meat. I had the Special Kobe Lamp Steak 100g lunch course (4,535 yen). I received a spring cabbage potage salad, grilled vegetables, and the Special Kobe Lamp Steak 100g. They kindly changed the cut for me, and it was totally different! I prefer sirloin over lean meat, but this lamp was tender, flavorful, and very delicious. I didn't take a photo, but it came with rice, miso soup, and pickles. For dessert, I had loquat compote and jasmine tea sorbet. After-meal drink and petit fours. This 4,500 yen was worth it. I had a great time chatting with the head chef. I had a wonderful time. Money spent: 4,535 yen Rating: 4.5 5 points: Definitely want to revisit! 4 points: Would like to revisit if I have the chance! 3 points: Would consider revisiting. 2 points: Once is probably enough. 1 point: No need to go.

A high-class teppanyaki restaurant in Roppongi! I visited a few years ago and couldn't forget how delicious the meat was, so I finally went back with a friend and it was truly amazing.
