It takes about 13 minutes on foot from Shibuya Station, past Info Tower, and a little further to get there. I made a phone reservation and when I arrived at night, there was only one other group there. However, a few customers started coming in around 9 o'clock, so I think it's better to make a reservation in advance! They also have monjayaki, but I really wanted okonomiyaki, so I ordered the Butatama Seafood Okonomiyaki! It's a style where you cook it yourself. I'm used to cooking okonomiyaki, so no problem. It was fluffy and very delicious! I've been to many famous okonomiyaki restaurants in Tokyo, but none of them really clicked with me, so I had given up on flour dishes in Tokyo. However, this place is very close to the real deal, and I am extremely satisfied!! They also have teppanyaki dishes, appetizers, rice, and noodle dishes. I ordered the Asparagus Bacon Chicken Skin with Ponzu Yakisoba, and everything I ate was delicious!! I also ordered 2 drinks, and for 2 adults, it didn't even cost 7000 yen, so I think the cost performance is quite good. The staff's customer service was also good. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious okonomiyaki!

I made a reservation for 5:00 PM and arrived at the restaurant✨ There were two groups waiting outside, but both had reservations. Although we didn't get the seat we wanted, the staff kindly let us take photos, which made us very happy. The beef tendon and green onion dish was delicious!

There is a quiet restaurant located in a residential area about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya towards Daikanyama. The interior has many booth seats, with a lot of 4-person tables. We had tonpei-yaki, garlic oil grilled dish, oyster butter grilled dish, chanja, black monja, mochi cheese mentaiko monja, mixed dango, and more. The black monja with squid ink could use a bit more flavor. The mochi cheese mentaiko monja was consistently delicious. The oyster butter grilled dish was also very tasty. With good value for money, this is a place to visit when craving for flour-based dishes. Thank you for the meal.

A hidden Monjayaki restaurant in a residential street. The menu cover and toilet are One Piece themed. Despite the unusual menu, the Monjayaki is well-made with a variety of unique dishes. I ordered the Negi Bomb, which is perfect for green onion lovers. The dessert Monjayaki was not just delicious, but also showed creativity in using flour-based ingredients.

I used it for monjayaki purposes. Although it was located a little away from Shibuya Station, I was attracted by the variety of monjayaki menu and made a reservation. The limited menu Uni Cream Monja was exquisite with the luxurious umami of seafood and just the right taste of sea urchin. The staff also cooked the okonomiyaki for us, and we were able to enjoy it deliciously. There were many other menu items that caught my eye besides teppanyaki, so I will definitely use it again next time. Both the cost performance and the customer service were good, and it had a clean and pleasant atmosphere, unlike the greasy tables of teppanyaki restaurants. Highly recommended.

This is a region where opportunities to visit are rare, but I was able to have a birthday party for a friend at a shop run by an acquaintance. The steak cooked on an iron plate at the end of the course with all-you-can-drink was incredibly delicious. The monjayaki and okonomiyaki were also very well-made, not inferior to the authentic ones in Tsukishima where I grew up (I know, only Tsukishima residents use the word "authentic"). The okonomiyaki was expertly cooked and the sauce and mayo were applied in a way that created a photo-worthy atmosphere, making it the best. At this restaurant, when you ask the staff, they will cook everything for you, which is very much appreciated. According to the owner, for monjayaki, everyone directly puts the ingredients onto the iron plate and eats, which enhances the sense of camaraderie, a unique way of eating that he wants to share with foreigners so they can enjoy it too.

A shop located in a quiet residential area towards Daikanyama from Shibuya. It may take about 10 minutes to walk there. The interior of the shop has many booth seats and seats for four people. Sit down and order a mega-sized highball. We had skewered soft bone hamburg steak, stick dumplings, pork salt kalbi, stamina harami, tonpei-yaki, garlic oil grilled dish, pickled celery, mixed balls, and natto monjayaki. The natto monjayaki with natto is very delicious. I might get addicted to monjayaki with natto. The skewered soft bone hamburg steak has a great texture with crunchy soft bones and is very tasty. It's a monjayaki restaurant, and both my companion and I love seafood, so we enjoyed dishes like scallop butter, seafood grill, and oyster with ponzu sauce. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly and rushed. We had made a reservation, but were asked to leave after an hour due to the next reservation. It was a bit disappointing as the food was delicious. I still want to try more dishes, so I'll visit when it's less busy next time.

There's nothing particularly special about this place, so I don't think I'll be going back. It's not that the food is bad, but it's not exactly delicious either. The izakaya-style appetizers were just ok, the okonomiyaki wasn't very tasty (not bad either), the teppanyaki was so-so, and the drinks weren't that great either! Couldn't they make a better highball or lemon sour? Maybe it just didn't suit my mood. Sorry, I picked the wrong place!

About a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station West Exit, there is a Monja-yaki restaurant. The area is filled with narrow alleyways and trendy shops like cafes and clothing stores. The interior is not very spacious, but each seat feels like a semi-private room, allowing for a relaxing atmosphere. The music playing inside is nice too, with a selection of older Japanese songs that personally resonated with me. We went around 7 pm on a weekday and had no issues, but it started to fill up gradually, so making a reservation might be a good idea for those who want to secure a spot. As for the food, we ordered the "MIX Monja" and the popular "Mentaiko Mochi Cheese Monja". I haven't had Monja-yaki very often, but this visit changed my perspective. The "Mentaiko..." was definitely a winner! The combination was perfect and we finished it in no time. The chicken skin ponzu and bijin horumon are also recommended as side dishes. As others have mentioned, the staff here are very friendly and efficient. They are bright, quick, and make the Monja-yaki swiftly. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the station and the streets can be confusing, but I would recommend this place to friends. I've been here a few times already and I'm looking forward to going back soon.

I searched on Tabelog and visited a restaurant that was ranked 3rd in Shibuya when searching for "okonomiyaki" and "monja". The restaurant is located in an area of Shibuya that is not visited by many people, close to the south exit. The dishes I ordered were: - Mentaiko mochi cheese monja - Butatama (okonomiyaki) - Sukiyaki soba The Mentaiko mochi cheese monja was delicious with a rich flavor. The restaurant focuses a lot on monja-yaki and the soup was also very tasty. The Butatama was average. The "sukiyaki soba" that was featured on TV turned out to be a unique and delicious dish. It involved cooking soba noodles while stir-frying sukiyaki ingredients (cabbage, meat, tomato) and then mixing them together. The sauce was similar to sukiyaki broth, giving the soba a sukiyaki flavor. Definitely worth trying! That's all for my review.

I have been to Osaka and this was the best okonomiyaki restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was typical of an okonomiyaki place, with around 5 tables for 6 people each. I sat in the middle table. There were 2 staff members, one of whom was a very friendly woman who provided excellent service. The okonomiyaki itself was fluffy and incredibly delicious from start to finish. It's the kind of taste that makes you want to keep eating it over and over. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the station.
