I really wanted to eat meat, so I went to a yakiniku restaurant! The menu overall is budget-friendly. The highlight is the hormone assortment for 1690 yen, but it's too much for one person to eat. We had a drink each and the total for two people was around 6,200 yen! Despite being a hormone assortment, there was always some lean meat mixed in, today it was beef tongue! However, beef tongue is better with salt... and it was disappointing that it was frozen. We had the hormone assortment, top sirloin, heart, and sinew, along with egg soup and kalbi soup for two people, and we were stuffed. The heart had a texture similar to liver. The sinew is delicious, even though it's not always available. The egg soup had a gentle flavor, probably chicken-based. The kalbi soup was also mild, so if you like it spicy, let them know in advance or adjust with the gochujang on the table.

I knew there was a restaurant near my house that was open, but I had never been there because I didn't think it was good. However, one day when I went to my usual spot and found it closed, I was hungry and decided to try "Fukuhachi" nearby for the first time. As soon as I walked in and saw the meat that other customers were ordering, I thought, "Hmm, the color of the meat looks good?" I was surprised when I tried it! It was delicious!! Especially the hormone was really tasty! If you want to eat yakiniku in Ryogoku, this is the place to go, especially for the hormone! I decided that I will definitely come back in the future. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On a Sunday, I spent the day relaxing at home without eating breakfast or lunch. By evening, I was craving yakiniku so much that I decided to go to a yakiniku restaurant near my house alone. Luckily, they had counter seats, so I could enjoy yakiniku by myself without feeling awkward. The restaurant was very welcoming and I felt comfortable dining alone as a woman. I indulged in some special cuts of meat like tongue, misuji, and marbled roast. The meat was cooked slowly over charcoal, allowing me to savor each bite at my own pace. I frequent yakiniku restaurants often, but I must say that the special cuts of meat here were of high quality. They were a bit pricey, but worth it. The tongue was thick and had a nice texture, juicy and delicious. The misuji had just the right amount of fat and flavor, and was tender and paired well with rice. The marbled roast was so tender and flavorful that I didn't want to swallow it too quickly. It was a delightful meal! However, the sauce was a bit too ordinary. If they can serve such delicious meat, they might want to consider changing the sauce to something more special. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving me tips on how to cook the meat and how to enjoy it. The atmosphere was great, and I will definitely visit again when I crave yakiniku at home. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

My family initially had a bad impression when they visited this restaurant, so I avoided it. However, since the reviews were good, I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was crowded with local office workers and regular customers. We were seated at the counter where we cooked our food on a grill. We ordered a few types of hormone, which ranged from 400 to 600 yen per serving. Surprisingly, we had to pay extra to change the grill, which was something I had never experienced before. The hormone pieces were small and shrank even more when cooked. The quality of the meat was not impressive. We ordered the recommended sliced beef from the blackboard, but it came out frozen and lacked freshness. Overall, the food was mediocre at best. My family's initial assessment was accurate - the hormone was okay but small, and the meat was disappointing.

I went to a restaurant specializing in Japanese beef offal. The signboard with clear black letters on a white background saying "Japanese beef offal, charcoal-grilled yakiniku, Fukuhachi" caught my eye along the Keiyo Highway. I arrived around 5:30 on a weekday, and since it wasn't a Friday, the place was empty. The staff seemed surprised to see a customer at such an early hour. I ordered the salted tongue first, squeezing fresh lemon over it for an extra kick. The red meat assortment was recommended, and every piece melted in my mouth. The restaurant had a cozy izakaya feel with several tables in a large hall. It's not smoke-free, so booking an early time slot might be a good idea. Overall, it was a delightful experience, rivaling my favorite "Ushikuro" spot.

2015.10 It's been a year and a half since I last visited this place. On this day, there were four of us dining together. I arrived a little late, but the feast had already begun. The meat was sizzling on the grill, and as soon as I arrived, I dove into some beer and delicious food. It had been a while, but the food was so tasty. I especially enjoyed the variety of organ meats. The prices were reasonable and the portions were just right. The food was so good that I couldn't help but overeat. Watching my companions devour their meals made it even harder to resist (laughs). In the end, I ended up eating a lot. Thank you for the delicious meal! 2014.04 I heard there was a delicious yakiniku restaurant here, so we decided to give it a try. It was our first time dining here, but my two companions were already fans of this place. The interior was simple, with round tables, chairs, and smoking ashtrays. The simplicity of the decor made me think that the meat must be really good here. We ordered the "Lean Meat Assortment," which included about 300g of meat, and the "Ranking Set," a popular assortment of meats. The "Lean Meat Assortment" included loin, kalbi, harami, and tsurami. The "Ranking Set" included tongue with salt, shima intestine, harami, upper mino, and heart. We were recommended to order vegetables, so I chose onions, while my companions chose kimchi (oi kimchi and kakuteki). Let's start grilling! The tongue with salt was surprisingly large and had to be cut with scissors. It was delicious, especially when squeezed with lemon. Next, we tried the lean meat assortment, which had thick and large cuts of meat. The kalbi was particularly tasty! We ended up ordering more kalbi later (laughs). Now, onto the popular Ranking Set...the shima intestine was the highlight! It melted in my mouth and the richness of the fat lingered. It's no wonder this place has fans. We ended up ordering more shima intestine as well (laughs). Even as individual items, the portions were generous for the price. It goes to show that with the right preparation, even lower-grade meats can be delicious. It was so delicious! This is what they mean by a perfect match for your taste. I would love to dine here again if I get the chance. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Location - A 3-minute walk from Ryogoku Station East Exit, along Route 14 (Keiyo Highway) Crowdedness - Visited on a Friday just after 10 pm, with only 3 other groups of customers present (1 more group arrived later) Food - Cucumber Kimchi: A bit soft, but still tasty - Namul Assortment: 4 different types, all delicious and recommended - Salted Tongue: A bit on the reddish side, not very juicy but some may like it - Lemon juice provided was fresh, not store-bought - Harami (skirt steak): Highly recommended, very juicy and delicious - Zabuton (Chuck flap): Melts at room temperature, best enjoyed medium rare - Upper Mino (beef belly): Slightly dry when grilled, but satisfying for the price - Galbi Kkuppa (beef rib soup): Not spicy, with large pieces of beef ribs, gentle flavor, good for sensitive stomachs Service - Despite arriving close to closing time, the staff extended the last order time and provided excellent service with a smile throughout - The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place for solo diners.

Located along the Keiyo Highway near Ryogoku Station, "Wagyu Hormone Charcoal Grill Fukuhachi" is next to ENEOS. I heard rumors that the yakiniku here is delicious, so I visited on a Sunday night. The interior has a counter with four seats and five table seats. The round chairs and tin plates on the walls give it a Korean cuisine-like atmosphere. I started with a draft beer (390 yen), which was served in an Asahi medium-sized glass and tasted delicious. While waiting for the shichirin grill to be prepared, I snacked on cucumber kimchi (420 yen) and vegetable salad (580 yen). It's important to eat vegetables before diving into the meat. From the regular menu, I ordered harami (980 yen) and salted tongue (980 yen), and from the limited edition menu, I tried tanmoto (1,800 yen). I also ordered a Hoppy set (400 yen) for drinks, with an option to refill for an additional 200 yen. Tanmoto is the soft part at the base of the beef tongue, known for being even softer than the white part. It was lightly seared over charcoal, resulting in a chewy yet tender texture with a rich umami flavor. The thick harami was delicious when wrapped in lettuce with miso paste. By 7:30 pm, the counter and all tables were full, and some customers had to leave without being able to enter.

The first visit was taken by the company boss with colleagues. We ordered a variety of hormone platters, lean meat platters, raw liver sashimi, and kimchi platters, and then added more items that caught our interest. The platters alone were more than satisfying! The hormones were all delicious, but the heart was something else compared to other places! So we added more. The lean meat was also very tasty! The thick-cut skirt steak is a must-try. I usually don't like raw liver sashimi, but I can eat it here! It's delicious - I've come to like it! The kimchi platter looked ordinary at first, but the spicy and pickled kimchi worked wonders towards the end! The pickled vegetables were a bit sour though. Unexpectedly, we ordered tongue salt halfway through, which was okay. If you're in the mood for tongue, you might want to go to a different restaurant. The tripe sandwich was delicious. I don't remember what else we ordered, but we ended with cold noodles - delicious! I like to add a lot of vinegar. It's quite crowded, but I wonder why there are no reviews! I plan to go again soon, even on my own.
