Well, for dinner on the first day in Sapporo, I had made a reservation at this local cuisine restaurant through Tabelog. When I arrived at the restaurant using the elevator, a receptionist was waiting and escorted me to a private room. It seemed like a high-class restaurant. Since there were only private rooms available, I decided to order a la carte as the set courses included items I didn't want. There were many items on the menu, and apart from the deer steak I had planned to try, I decided on the rest based on the menu of the day. There were both male and female shishamo available, but I chose the male for its meat. I opted for the herring sashimi, a Hokkaido specialty, and although I hesitated, I chose the seafood hot pot that had a variety of ingredients. When I placed my order, the staff recommended crab for today, and upon checking with my companion, we decided to try the hanasakigani as it was something we hadn't tasted before. The corn appetizer was delicious. The deer steak was tasty with no gamey flavor. The herring had a good amount of fat, but it was just okay. The shishamo was quite delicious. The hanasakigani was brought live for cooking, which was a nice performance. The hot pot was rich in flavor with a mix of shellfish, shrimp, and other ingredients. We also ordered the porridge as an extra, and it was delicious, thanks to the flavorful broth. It's a recommended place for tourists looking to relax and enjoy local cuisine, aside from Genghis Khan. Overall, it's a good choice for tourists like myself.

I made a reservation at the popular restaurant Oga in Susukino and went there. It was lucky that I was able to secure a table for 5 people by calling on the day. When I arrived at the scheduled time, the restaurant was even busier than I expected. I felt a little anxious, but first, we ordered drinks. As expected, it took about 10 minutes for them to be served. The same slow service continued with the drinks and food, and my companions and I were a little disappointed and chuckled. The food was fresh and delicious, of course. We didn't order crab this time, but the sashimi, shellfish, and sushi were all delicious. The prices are reasonable, so this restaurant is a safe choice when you want to eat delicious fish in Susukino. Also, I think you can enjoy it even more by avoiding peak times like weekends and summer vacations. Especially for those who are impatient haha. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the detached house of the local cuisine restaurant Ogasan in Susukino. The main building is on the 8th floor and the detached house is on the 9th floor. I assume that large groups are guided to the 9th floor. When you get off the elevator and enter, there are several tatami rooms where you take off your shoes. It's clearly for entertaining guests. We ordered a course meal. They were selling a bottle of Hakushu 12-year whiskey, so we made highballs and enjoyed it together. I think it was around 30,000 yen? It's quite affordable. They must have strong purchasing power. Today's course included sea lettuce and eggplant sashimi, button shrimp, tuna, sea urchin, live octopus, freshly boiled hairy crab, shabu-shabu, steamed king crab, baked crab gratin, crab shell sake, crab tempura, crab chawanmushi, crab rice, miso soup, and dessert with fruits. It was an amazing course that gathered delicious and cute things from Hokkaido. We started with sashimi, and they promptly presented a live hairy crab. It was very cute. Then we had shabu-shabu, steamed, baked dishes featuring hairy crab and king crab. From gratin to tempura, crab shell sake to chawanmushi, and finally crab rice, it was a parade of crab dishes. Many people left some king crab uneaten when they were full. It was a feast. Of course, the price was reasonable. It was over 30,000 yen, but isn't it worth it? It was a great experience. It was delicious! However, because the staff was still in training, there were some mistakes like going to the wrong room. Keep up the good work! The golden threadfin bream shabu-shabu was delicious! I also tried the fresh squid as a single item and it was amazing. The price for shabu-shabu was a bit high though. The menu was extensive! I would like to go again!

Each room is completely private and has a good atmosphere. However, it is annoying to have to call the staff every time using the phone with the order button. The sashimi assortment was delicious, especially the herring sashimi. The grilled miso of octopus was outstanding as well. They grilled the skin until it became crispy, which was delicious. The horse mackerel was decent, but the sweet sushi of sandfish did not suit my taste. Overall, the dishes I ordered were good, except for the whale. The premium whale red meat for 2400 yen was terrible. I took one bite and stopped. When I tried to pick it up, the poor quality of the meat made it crumble. It was clearly frozen and made from inferior meat. It was a shame, especially after enjoying the octopus. If they keep serving this kind of food targeting tourists, they will eventually go out of business. I left without eating much. I wonder if the chef is aware of this. This restaurant is a hit or miss, so be careful.

I impulsively visited this restaurant after seeing it ranked at the top of a search. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor of a building, and the staff welcomed me warmly. Even though I didn't have a reservation, they seated me right away in a private room. The prices were a bit high, but the taste of the food was definitely worth it. I had the KinKi shabu-shabu, crab shell gratin, and clam dishes, all of which were delicious! They even had whale sashimi on the menu. I would love to visit this restaurant again.

The tourist attractions are worth the inflated prices, but the taste is really bad. And that goes for all the dishes. It's strict except for the private room. Oh, the service is good! The usability is good, so please improve the taste.

As per the reviews, the restaurant is located in an old building. Upon entering, we were greeted by a staff member who promptly showed us to our room. We enjoyed a luxurious crab course with more than a year's worth of crab dishes. It was delicious. However, we didn't quite like the seasoning of the crab rice at the end.

Thanks to a generous boss, I was able to get a last-minute cancellation at a popular restaurant and enjoy some fresh seafood. The crab I had was the most delicious and easy-to-eat crab I've ever had in my life. I was able to savor the crab's flavor with just a squeeze of lemon. This restaurant is perfect for entertaining clients.

I enjoyed a perfectly sized hairy crab. This size is just right for me... I also like sashimi of this size! The draft beer here is only Malt, but let's toast with Classic and Black Label bottles. The counter seats are gone, so it's becoming harder to go without a reservation! Welcome, tourists!

Every time I come to Hokkaido, I always make sure to visit this restaurant! When I come alone, I enjoy my meal alone, but when I'm with friends, I bring them along. They always say, "It's so delicious here!" and express their desire to come back again. It's a place where you can bring anyone with confidence! The staff is very kind and provides attentive service, so there is nothing to complain about. The prices are a bit high, so if you're concerned about that, I recommend checking the prices before ordering. But really, everything is delicious! I highly recommend the hairy crab and crab gratin!

The service that accommodates 8 people after 8 pm is fantastic. The restaurant seems to be aimed at tourists, with the chef being from Akita and a Namahage figure at the entrance. The dishes are a combination of Hokkaido and Akita ingredients. We ordered the most popular Kin Kin Shabu Shabu, and it was served quickly with a rich broth. The Zangi is highly recommended.

When my family traveled to Hokkaido, we made a reservation at the restaurant recommended by the Amex desk and visited. Overall, the food was delicious and the hospitality was great. We paid around 35,000 yen for one 4-year-old child and two adults, so the price was a bit high. I think it's a good restaurant, but maybe our expectations were too high? Thank you for the meal!

I visited this restaurant for the first time because it was recommended by an acquaintance. Since I arrived a bit late (just before the last order), I had to give up on the course meal. I had sashimi of kawahagi, sashimi of squid, a comparison of three types of asparagus, and (although I forgot to take a photo) whale sashimi. As expected of Hokkaido, the fish was delicious, but what stood out was the asparagus! They were so thick, unlike anything you would see in supermarkets in Tokyo. They were in season and were about the size of a 3L bottle. I tried green, white, and purple asparagus. They said they cook them differently depending on the type, and they were incredibly delicious. I felt so happy to be able to enjoy seasonal produce. Next time I come to Hokkaido, I want to come earlier and try the course meal. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The restaurant had private rooms. I couldn't see inside the restaurant at all. The food was delicious but the portions were small. The prices were also high. It was a nice place to eat slowly and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I think it's a restaurant mainly for tourists.

I used it for a family meal. We were able to use a private room and enjoy a relaxing meal in a calm space. All the dishes were very delicious, especially the crab which was amazing. The portion size was just right and we left feeling satisfied. If the price was a bit more affordable, I would love to go back soon, but it seems like it will be for special occasions only.

The crab tempura was especially delicious! The service was excellent, we were greeted upon arrival and seen off when leaving. We were able to enjoy our meal in a private room, and it felt like time flew by quickly. All the other dishes were also delicious, and we were very satisfied.

I ordered the 35,000 yen course for my first visit. The crab and shrimp were delicious. I found the main course of shabu-shabu with kinmedai to be a bit hit or miss. The separate order of squid sashimi was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for à la carte options. It is great for dates, work gatherings, and family outings. The smoking section was appreciated.

Looking for delicious seafood in Sapporo at the local cuisine restaurant Oga. When I went there, I saw illustrations of Namahage and menu items like Kitayama hot pot, which made me think, "Huh?" But it turns out that the name Oga refers to the Oga Peninsula in Akita. Quite a surprise to find Akita's local cuisine in Hokkaido! Overall, the food was delicious, although a bit pricey.

After a long time! (Since last June) I wanted to take my time and visit Oga-san! As expected, when you come to Oga-san, you have to eat Kinmedai (^ω^) I ordered sashimi instead of shabu-shabu! The Kinmedai looks beautiful and tastes delicious♪ The sashimi is firm and tasty♪ And the soup made from the head of the Kinmedai is amazing⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ I think I prefer salt over miso♪ The mountain vegetable tempura is also recommended♪ Ahh! What a luxurious time it was╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
