I held a personal whirlwind food tour in Sapporo and still had plenty of time until my flight departure. I visited Ichigen at Hokkaido Ramen Dojo inside New Chitose Airport, where there was a long line. I arrived slightly after 3:30 pm and was able to be seated right away. When I asked the staff for a recommendation, they said the most popular dish is the Ebi Miso for 900 yen. I ordered the Ebi Miso (light) with thick noodles. The Ebi Miso came with soft chashu pork, green onions, flavored egg, and crispy shrimp senbei on top, and even before eating, you could smell the rich aroma of shrimp. I took a sip of the soup first - the combination of shrimp and tonkotsu broth created a rich flavor that spread in my mouth. The thick noodles had a chewy texture and were delicious. As I was eating, the crispy shrimp senbei blended into the soup, enhancing the shrimp flavor even more, creating a taste that was a bit addictive. Eating this regularly might lead to gout, but it's delicious! If I come back to Sapporo, I would definitely want to stop by Ichigen again. It was a great experience. Thank you for the meal.

Today I visited "Ebisoba Ichigen" at Hokkaido Ramen Dojo. Ichigen is a famous shop with long lines, and their website lists "Seven Commitments to Make You Say 'Delicious!'" The options include a choice of two types of noodles - thick or thin, Ichigen's shrimp soup, shrimp-flavored tempura, a rich flavored egg, standout chashu, and a special "shrimp powder." I had already eaten "Nissin Sapporo Ebisoba Ichigen Rich Shrimp Miso" cup ramen for breakfast that day, so this time I ordered "Shrimp Salt." It was light with a refreshing shrimp aroma, making it easy to eat and delicious. I couldn't help but finish it in just 2 minutes. Thank you for the meal. I definitely want to eat this ramen again when I come back to Hokkaido!

As we were seeing off our family, we had some extra time today so we decided to go to Ichiran, which we usually avoid due to the long lines. We arrived at 3:30 pm and waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. The turnover is quite fast. Based on the recommendation from the staff, my son had the shrimp salt ramen while I had the shrimp miso ramen. The salt ramen had a strong shrimp flavor, while the miso ramen was also delicious. My son also had the shrimp rice ball at the end, and he finished the soup as well. The popularity of the restaurant is well-deserved due to its delicious food.

This is a popular restaurant located on the 3rd floor of Hokkaido Ramen Dojo in New Chitose Airport. The main store is in Sapporo. It was quite crowded with about 30 people lining up, which was a bit discouraging at first. However, the turnover was fast, so we were able to get in fairly smoothly. The staff took our orders while we were waiting in line, so we were served the ramen almost immediately after being seated. By the time we finished eating, the line had gotten much shorter, so timing might also be a factor. I ordered the Ebi Miso with thick noodles, and my wife ordered the Ebi Shio with thin noodles which we shared. You can choose between "as is" or "flavorful" for the soup, and decide whether to add pork bone soup or not. I chose the "as is" option without adding pork bone soup. The Ebi Miso soup was rich and full of shrimp flavor, while the Ebi Shio soup had a stronger shrimp taste. Both were delicious, but I personally preferred the Ebi Miso for its shrimp-miso combination. The thick noodles I had were chewy and caught the soup well, complementing the miso soup nicely. The restaurant has branches in Tokyo, Taiwan, and Hong Kong besides Sapporo, but unfortunately not in Kansai. Therefore, whenever I visit this area, I make sure to include this restaurant in my plans. The location at New Chitose Airport is convenient and easy to access, making it a great option when the weather is bad and you don't feel like exploring for food.

I always couldn't eat there because of the long lines, but today it was relatively empty so we waited for about 20 minutes and entered. My wife and I ordered the shrimp miso ramen as it is and the shrimp miso ramen with flavor. We chose thin noodles for the flavored one and thick noodles for the regular one. The regular one had more shrimp essence than I expected, while the flavored one was rich with tonkotsu soup. For those who want to enjoy the shrimp flavor, go for the regular one, but in terms of overall ramen quality, the flavored one might be better.

I visited around 11:15 on a regular day. There was a line of about 20 people. The wait time was about 15 minutes, and the turnover rate was very good. This time, I ordered the shrimp miso flavor. The pork bone flavor comes first, followed by a strong shrimp flavor, and it was delicious. I also tried the shrimp salt flavor, and it allowed me to feel the shrimp flavor more directly, and it was very delicious. I wanted to try the shrimp rice ball, but I didn't have room in my stomach this time, so I had to give up. I would love to visit again. The photo shows miso on the left and salt on the right.

It's a well-known chain restaurant and it had been a while since my last visit. It's hard to stop by when you're short on time. This time, I arrived after 2 pm due to a flight delay and had to wait for about 30 minutes to get in. I ordered the shrimp miso flavor. I had high expectations since I couldn't stop by the last two times and had to just glance at it while heading to my destination. The rich miso flavor was satisfying as always. I couldn't resist ordering some rice balls as well. I enjoyed the rich flavor of the shrimp and headed towards my destination.

When I come to Hokkaido, I always eat Ebi Shio Ramen. There was a line, but I was able to enter after about a 15-minute wait. This time, I ordered Ebi Shio (flavor) with thin noodles. It was rich and delicious with a creamy tonkotsu broth.

At Ebi Soba Ichigen, I had the shrimp soy sauce ramen with thin noodles. The strong scent of shrimp fills the air, even from the neighboring table. The soup is smooth with a pure shrimp flavor. The noodles are firm and satisfying, which I personally enjoy, but if you prefer thicker noodles, a richer soup base might be better. Delicious.

Sometimes I feel like eating it. Today, there were a lot of people lining up, but I decided to wait in line without giving up. I want to try various menus, but I always end up ordering miso flavor. Correct choice! The dumplings also have a strong flavor, so I can eat them even when I'm full.

There was a long line at Dai Kouryuu Ichigen, but we were able to eat in about 30 minutes. I tried the shrimp miso ramen with straight thin noodles for 900 yen. You can also get tonkotsu soup instead of miso. I tried it, but I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting more richness in flavor. I should have gone for "Sora" or "Keyaki" instead. It was good, but I had set my expectations too high.

Due to heavy rain last night, most trains to New Chitose Airport were cancelled. I had to take a taxi from Sapporo Station to the airport as the bus line was too long. I changed my flight to an earlier one to Haneda and had breakfast and lunch combined. Instead of my usual choice of sushi, I opted for ramen today, reminiscing about the first time I tried it at the Sapporo main branch. I entered Ichiran, where there was a short line and got seated in about 5 minutes. I ordered the miso, salt, and soy sauce ramen with its light and thick noodles. The piping hot soup requires caution for the upper palate. The soup was lighter than expected, and the noodles were satisfying with a good texture.

At the airport, there is always a long line at Ebi Soba Ichigen. I had the Ebi Miso with thick noodles after a long time. One word, the shrimp flavor is amazing! For shrimp lovers, this is a must-visit restaurant. You can enjoy a rich shrimp broth. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I visited the miso ramen restaurant "Ebisoba Ichigen" located in New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. There is a Ramen Dojo in New Chitose Airport, where 12 ramen shops are lined up. Among them, I went to the famous shop, Ebisoba Ichigen!
Menu:
Ebi Miso Ramen - 900 yen
You can choose between thick or thin noodles, with thick noodles being the default. You can also choose between regular soup or flavored soup. Regular soup is light, while flavored soup is rich. This time, I chose regular soup!
With just one sip, you can taste the aroma of shrimp and the flavor of miso! It truly is shrimp ramen! The thick noodles soaked up the soup nicely and it was delicious!
Although there was a line at Ebisoba Ichigen, the turnover rate is high, so even if you line up, you will be seated in about 15 minutes! It is recommended before a long journey!

It's 5:50 pm on September 3, 2023, at New Chitose Airport. Oh, hello, it's Kamen! I had some time before my flight back to Tokyo, so I decided to have dinner at the restaurant floor on the third floor of the airport. I noticed that the always crowded Ichiran ramen shop had a short line, so I joined at the back. I was the fourth person in line. I was quickly asked for my order, so I requested the shrimp miso ramen with thick noodles, recommended soup, and a side of gyoza. They were out of onigiri, so I ordered gyoza and a cola. The cola was served promptly, followed by the ramen and gyoza after a short wait. As I started eating the ramen, at first I didn't notice anything special, but then the delicious flavors slowly emerged. Before I knew it, I had finished the entire bowl of soup, something I hadn't done in years. The gyoza also had a taste that I really enjoyed. I now understand why this place is so popular. Thank you for the delicious meal!

This time, I finally went to "Ebisoba Ichigen" as I had promised myself. The store I visited was the one at New Chitose Airport. Despite arriving around 2:30 PM, there was a line of about 20 people, but I was able to get in after waiting for about 20 minutes. I ordered the "Ebi Miso (soup as it is, thin noodles)" when the staff came to take my order while I was waiting in line. Actually, I couldn't finish the ramen last time because I was too full, so I bought some raw ramen to take home and when I ate it at home, the soup was amazingly delicious. So this time, I was determined to eat it at the restaurant. When the ramen was served, I was looking forward to the soup, but I felt that the miso flavor was a bit weak, even though the shrimp flavor was distinct. I couldn't help but compare it to the one I made at home, and I thought that the soup had a better balance of shrimp and miso flavors in the homemade one. I bought some raw ramen to take home again this time, and when I made it at home, I could adjust the soup to my liking, so overall, I still prefer the homemade ramen as it suits my taste better. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 11:30 am on a weekday and there was already a long line. However, the turnover was fast, and I was able to be seated in about 20 to 30 minutes. I prefer rich flavors, so I ordered a tonkotsu-based soup, miso flavor, and thin noodles. I think I made the right choice with that. The first bite impressed me with its deliciousness. Towards the end, the saltiness was a bit noticeable. I recommend visiting this restaurant at least once.

I wanted to try this place because it had good reviews on YouTube. When I arrived at New Chitose Airport on Monday around 12pm, it was very crowded so I decided to visit on my way back. When I went back on Friday around 3pm, there weren't many people waiting so I decided to go in. The food was indeed delicious, but personally I think the ramen at Yukia Akari was the best ♡ However, this place is also delicious! This was my first time at Ramen Dojo and I only tried 3 shops, but I want to try them all!

It was around 12pm on a weekday at New Chitose Airport at the end of August. Among many ramen shops, this particular shop had a line, indicating its popularity. However, we were able to be seated without waiting long as they were very efficient. We ordered the shrimp miso ramen and gyoza. The ramen had a strong shrimp flavor but was not overpowering, and it was so delicious that we ended up finishing the soup as well.

On a day trip for business, in the midst of a busy schedule, I chose Ichigen, a teppanyaki restaurant, for my final meal in Hokkaido. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:00 PM and was able to be seated without waiting. As usual, I ordered the Ebi Miso (shrimp miso) for 900 yen and a draft beer! The taste was as expected... simply delicious. Hokkaido's food never disappoints. I left the restaurant fully satisfied.

I arrived at the airport for a business trip and had about an hour before my flight, so I decided to wait in line for about 15 minutes and entered the restaurant around 3 pm. I had never tried shrimp miso ramen before, so I decided to order it for the first time. You can choose between thin noodles and thick noodles, and the soup comes in two flavors: "original" and "light". I chose thick noodles and "light" flavor. The combination of shrimp flavor and pork bone broth was exquisite and very delicious. I even finished the soup along with a shrimp rice ball. The staff's service was excellent as well. #HokkaidoGourmet #ChitoseCityGourmet #ChitoseCity #NewChitoseAirport #NewChitoseAirportGourmet #Ramen #RamenShop #Airport #AirportGourmet
