【Nemuro Hanamaru】 continues to evolve. It's a popular spot with long lines, which can make it intimidating to visit. But good news for solo diners - they now have a standing counter. You can grab a quick bite and leave easily. With affordable prices, the sushi is delicious. A standout dish is the "Hirame no Ara-jiru" soup, with a refined soy sauce flavor that is very tasty.

Due to a split in my suit pants, I had to head to Sapporo Station for alterations after work. Feeling hungry, I decided to explore the restaurant district. To my surprise, a famous sushi restaurant was there! I quickly grabbed a waiting card, but there were over 40 groups ahead of me. I thought about canceling, but then I noticed a sign saying "Standing-only reservations" with significantly shorter wait times! I immediately changed my reservation and was seated in less than 10 minutes. (Eating standing up during dinner time is a skill only solo diners possess?) The miso soup with Hanasaki crab, Hanasaki crab battleship sushi, squid with mountain wasabi, simmered conger eel, squid tentacles, salmon, and fresh scallops were all delicious! Among them, I heard of Toro Nishin for the first time. Is it a local Hokkaido specialty? Of course, I had to try it. It was a crunchy texture with a rich flavor, but squeezing a citrus fruit like sudachi over it made it refreshing. The meat was tender and had a taste similar to horse mackerel. I always thought "Hanamaru" meant either "Hakata" or "Daikichi," but "Nemuro" is also a good choice!

Sapporo Station Tower Stellar Place 6th floor. It was a Friday afternoon around 4 pm with 15 groups waiting, about a 15-minute wait. You can check the wait time by registering on LINE at the ticket machine and do some shopping nearby while waiting. Orders are placed by filling out a paper on the table and handing it to the staff. I had a total of 8 pieces of delicious and fresh sushi including salmon, red shrimp, and ikura from Toronishinzou Ginpou. However, the restaurant seemed a bit disorganized as some customers didn't receive all their orders. Compared to other similar restaurants, the quality and service may not be as good as Triton. The staff, mostly young, are working hard so keep it up. Thank you for the meal.

I remember that I used to have almost no complaints before, but maybe I expected too much... it felt like the quality has dropped compared to the past. Firstly, the prices are now higher and less clear. The recommended dishes of the day used to be cheaper options, but now they are priced much higher than a typical conveyor belt sushi place. The service has also worsened, with longer lines and wait times of one to two hours being common. The staff seem to take this for granted, which was not very pleasant. As for the taste, it is still good and fresh, making everything delicious. That's probably why people line up for so long. I tried many dishes, but in terms of value and taste, the standout was surprisingly not a sushi dish, but the squid tempura! Priced at 280 yen, it was plentiful, fresh, and crunchy, perfect with beer. Another highlight was the salmon head miso soup, also priced at 280 yen, with a rich and delicious flavor. The soup dishes are worth the price, but considering the overall experience and wait times at this place, I felt like I could skip it for a while.

Before the opening time of 11 o'clock, there were already 79 groups waiting, which was an incredible number. However, thanks to the remote waiting system using a ticket machine, I was able to make good use of my time while waiting. When I finally entered after about a 90-minute wait, I was surprised by the young age of the staff at the restaurant. Most of them appeared to be in their 20s, and I even saw a young woman handling the sushi. Although this was my first time at this restaurant and I haven't fully grasped everything, I noticed that despite the wide variety of dishes, there were no high-quality ingredients. They seem to display inexpensive ingredients to make it look cheap, but considering the number of stores and regional factors, the cost performance does not seem to be good. This sushi restaurant didn't give me a sense of Hokkaido's uniqueness. During this season, it would be nice to see Hokkaido specialties like Pacific saury or yellowtail on the menu, but today's recommendation was frozen bonito from Yaizu, which was disappointing, especially when the staff enthusiastically promoted it. The "Live Hamachi" tasted like farmed fish that you would normally find on the menu. The "Nishin Toro" didn't have as much fatty meat as expected, but as a lover of shiny fish, I found it tasty. The "Ikura Tsutsumi" from Rausu was of decent price, but the quality of the seaweed was not good, making it somewhat difficult to eat at that size. On a side note, I couldn't understand why Hokkaido sushi restaurants push Miyazaki-grown "Hebesu" so much.

I also compile gourmet information on my Instagram (@rmmk__). Please check it out! I ate a lot of popular conveyor belt sushi in Hokkaido, so I will omit what I ate and the prices! Anyway, the scallops are amazing!! Personally, I highly recommend trying the scallops, scallop fries, and Inca no Mezame potato fries. I wonder why the scallops are so thick and chewy... It was really the best!!

I got a ticket at 12 o'clock and had to wait for 75 groups ahead of me. It took an hour and a half to finally sit down. The tuna and seared engawa were so melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Hokkaido fish is really tasty... The regular menu items were great as always, but even the limited-time specials were all delicious, so it's best to order those.

I had heard that it would be crowded, but when I went to get my numbered ticket, there were 56 groups waiting at 6:30 PM... I was shocked. However, surprisingly, the wait was not too long and I was called in after about an hour and a half. The system where you can check how many groups are ahead of you by scanning the QR code on the numbered ticket from AirWait is very convenient. Now, when it comes to the sushi itself, my first thought was that it was on a different level compared to conveyor belt sushi. While the belt is still there, you basically write your order on a slip and hand it over, and the chef directly hands you the sushi. The prices are similar to conveyor belt sushi, starting at 130 yen, 190 yen, 270 yen, and 380 yen (tax not included). The quality and size of the sushi are quite high, with a focus on the daily recommended items. The standout pieces for me were the fatty tuna with shin and the seared gizzard shad. Especially the seared gizzard shad, where you can choose between salt and soy sauce, had a subtle saltiness and a crispy texture, along with a rich fatty taste. A unique and interesting item was the "bouzu ginho," a rare fish with a firm and flavorful texture. The lineup of dishes clearly showed why this place is so popular, and the effort to satisfy as many customers as possible, such as having standing seats for quick turnover, was also commendable. However, due to the limited capacity, they stopped taking orders before 8:30 PM, so I recommend arriving early if possible.

I arrived at noon on a regular day and got a ticket with 75 groups ahead of me! I finally sat at a table 1 hour and 40 minutes later. It was not easy to enjoy the conveyor belt sushi. I had various dishes, with scallops as the main dish and seasonal sushi like sujiko. I was confused when the squid didn't have sweet sauce on it, but a thoughtful female staff noticed and added the sweet sauce for me. Thank you very much.

I just visited the Sapporo Ginza store last month, and this is my first visit to the long-awaited Sapporo store. I always order the hebesu shimesaba at Nemuro Hanamaru because I love its refreshing taste. This time, I also tried the limited-time grilled gizzard shad and tsubugai both with hebesu. The fresh octopus, raw salmon, and thick cuts of tuna made me feel like Sapporo is really something special! The ikura, honmaguro akami, and honmaguro torotaku (nigiri) were also delicious! Despite it being a weekday night, there were about 60 groups waiting, with many foreign guests. I recommend getting a ticket, doing some shopping, and waiting for your turn. As for the Ginza store, I feel that the standing sushi bar downstairs is tastier than the revolving sushi restaurant, but this store also had a standing bar corner! I wonder if the waiting time is different there? Hokkaido truly offers fresh and delicious seafood!

Review: If you come to Sapporo, you must try the cost-effective sushi lunch! Taste: Delicious! Everything is really delicious! Crowdedness/wait time: I arrived just before the end of lunchtime. It wasn't crowded and I didn't have to wait. Interior and exterior atmosphere: Spacious and clean interior. Cost performance: Very good! Access: Close to the station. Good. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Chose this place for dinner during my trip. Heard about the long lines, but it was even busier than expected. Got a reservation ticket in front of the store on Sunday around 5 PM, finally got in around 6:30 PM. The sushi itself exceeded my expectations, with a variety of toppings including unique ones like herring that you can only find in Hokkaido. There is also a standing counter inside the store, so it's good for solo diners. Prices were cheaper than I thought, which added to the positive experience. Located in a station building in Sapporo, so very convenient. Definitely want to visit again if I have the chance.

I obtained a numbered ticket for Saturday at 6:00 PM and I was the 80th in line, but I was able to arrive at the store by 8:00 PM! The ticket distribution had ended around 7:30 PM, so I recommend getting your ticket early! This was my first time visiting a revolving sushi restaurant, but the fresh salmon, crab, and tuna were incredibly delicious. If you come to Hokkaido, this is definitely the number one sushi restaurant you must visit.

This time, the closing of my business trip to Sapporo was here. I took a waiting ticket first thing in the morning, and entered as soon as the store opened. I enjoyed dishes that can only be eaten in Hokkaido. Especially, the marinated herring was irresistible for someone who loves blue fish like me! Also, the octopus head with a generous portion. Personally, just these two dishes would be enough for me, haha.

This is a restaurant I had always wanted to visit. There is one in Tokyo as well, but I wanted to go to the one in Sapporo. I arrived before opening and saw only about 10 people in line, so I thought it was a good chance. But when I got to the touch panel, I was shocked to see I was number 32! I realized I might have to wait a while, so I decided to come back the next day. The next day, I arrived an hour before opening and got number 17. I enjoyed the sushi and went home satisfied.

We arrived at 2 pm on a Sunday afternoon. There was a wait of about 120 groups, with a wait time of around 2 hours. The fatty tuna, lean tuna, toro, eel, and ikura sushi wraps were especially delicious. There were also unique items like "ohyo" and "corn battleship" that are not commonly found in the Kanto region, and they were very tasty.

Maguro, live surf clam, squid ears, toro nishin, ark shell, live octopus, and ohitoyoshi with a glass of draft beer for 3339 yen. It's really delicious, but so crowded. You have to get a waiting number and scan the barcode to get updates on LINE. When I went, there were 130 groups waiting for 3 hours. Sometimes there were even 60 groups waiting before the store opened. It's too much to wait, so I opted for the standing counter. They can only accommodate about 8 people, but the wait is only 15-30 minutes. You write your order on a piece of paper, and the staff will make the sushi right in front of you. They serve about 100 people standing and 700 people seated per day, so it's a tough job for the sushi chefs.

I arrived at 11 o'clock and got ticket number 70 for reception. I had some free time so I bought a lot of souvenirs haha. I returned to the restaurant around 12:20 and was able to enter around 12:50 with 5 groups left. I ordered 10 recommended pieces, 10 of my choice, and salted ara soup with red snapper. Everything was fresh and delicious, served quickly after ordering. Thank you for the meal.

While on an expedition in Hokkaido, I visited a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Upon arriving at lunchtime, I was surprised to find 80 people ahead of me in line. I decided to get a ticket and do some shopping nearby while waiting. Finally, after 2 hours, I was able to be seated. The sushi was fresh and of high quality, far exceeding my expectations for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. They had a variety of Hokkaido specialties like crab, salmon roe, and sea urchin. If you don't mind waiting, I highly recommend it. I later found out that they also have a standing sushi bar section where you can skip the long wait.

All the staff members were energetic! It had been four years since my last visit. I didn't realize this shop was so popular, as I had previously visited near closing time. When I passed by before opening, there was already a line forming, and by 10:06, I was 22nd in line. By the time the shop opened, there were about 76 groups waiting! If you plan to eat lunch here, make sure to get in line early to secure your spot!

Sushi restaurant located on the 6th floor of Sapporo Station building. I decided to stop by because it's a convenient location for sushi and near the station. But there was a line! It was a strange time, around 4:00 PM on a weekday! I checked the touch panel and it seemed like there were about 20 groups ahead of us. I was debating whether to find another restaurant when a staff member said we could stand and eat if we wanted. That's great. We immediately decided to go inside. The restaurant was quite spacious, which was impressive considering it was full. There was a standing area that could fit about 6 people in one corner. The sushi was made right in front of us and it was delicious. The fatty tuna and cured mackerel were particularly good. The cured mackerel had a refined taste but was satisfying. Overall, it was delicious. We enjoyed a quick and satisfying meal without waiting. I will definitely come back.
