Located a 2-3 minute walk from the north exit of Kinshicho Station on the JR Sobu Line in Sumida-ku, Tokyo. ★First visit on 4/6/2022★ It seems there is also a location at the south exit. Liku-san has blown away the concept of enjoying yakiniku at a table with everyone and added the convenience of enjoying it alone! I am grateful to them for that. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of a ramen shop. I entered on a weekday (Wednesday) around 18:50. There were about 60% of seats occupied by the time I arrived, and it increased to about 80% by the time I left. The building itself is small, so I expected it to be narrow, but it was even smaller than I had imagined (laughs). The counter seats are lined up along the wall. There are also table seats at the back, but I couldn't see them from where I was sitting. I sat at the counter seat right by the entrance. Since it is along the walking path, there was a constant flow of people coming and going behind me, which made it feel restless throughout... The width for one person is narrow, so they have made some adjustments. The drawers contain wet towels, chopsticks, and seasonings like sauce floating in the air (laughs). The grilling area for one person is spacious enough, and you can even order a replacement grill net with a touch panel. You can order water from your table, and it is refillable as much as you want. I was impressed by the well-thought-out table setup. You order with a touch panel and when your order is ready, you have to pick it up from the kitchen counter. The counter was conveniently located just a half step behind me (laughs). Mega Mori Set (300g) ★★★★ 1093 yen (excluding tax) ◇ Bara Kalbi ◇ Buta Kalbi ◇ Horumon I usually don't order horumon (offal) at yakiniku restaurants other than specialized horumon shops, but this one was delicious. I couldn't tell the difference between Bara Kalbi and Buta Kalbi (laughs), but they were all delicious. 300g of meat disappears quickly, right? And it doesn't fill you up, right? With 6 types of sauce available, I hesitated because I could only put sauce in two dishes... Draft beer in a mug 480 yen (excluding tax) ★★★ Normal (laughs) The mug is small, so the cost performance is not great. However, it is made of plastic material, so it is incredibly light. The payment was also self-service. With everything being self-service, you hardly need any waitstaff, right? I was impressed by how times have changed in Japan, but in other countries, it is common for supermarkets where you don't even have to pay at the checkout anymore! You can shop without even checking out by having the store's camera detect the items you picked up and automatically settle the payment with your registered card. It seems like a time when you can shop boldly like a thief (laughs).
