I stopped by for a drink after attending a meat festival at Hibiya Park. The atmosphere was retro and nostalgic. It was quite lively and bustling. Had a drink and decided to continue drinking at a local spot. I thought it was an entertaining izakaya where you can enjoy the atmosphere.

It's more crowded in the later hours than in the early hours. It was faster than last time, so I was surprised by the lack of people at first, but it got lively and crowded as the night went on. I don't know the name of the restaurant, but the Korean food here was delicious. The sundubu got cold halfway through, but they reheated it for me. It was bubbling hot. I like the lively atmosphere here. The atmosphere gives the impression of being able to eat and drink cheaply, but it's not the case at all. It gives off the vibe of being able to enjoy delicious fish directly from the source, but that's not true at all. When you order something that looks delicious on the menu, something completely different comes out. The 899 yen ikura mountain dish is piled high with ikura, but it looks nothing like the photo. Nowadays, there are restaurants that use such methods. The potato salad was also lackluster, so I won't be going back.

Under the guard near the Imperial Hotel, there is a daytime drinking spot called Sancho Alley where various regional shops are located. It would be nice if they also offered menus from Hokkaido and Okinawa. It seems very crowded at night, but during the day it's only about half full. The downside is that you have to speak loudly to call the staff w. They have a great selection of seafood dishes, making it perfect for a casual drink.

After drinking plenty of Chiba sake, we ended the night with a meal! We headed, or rather stumbled, to Yurakucho Sanchoku Yokocho! Later I found out that there are 11 stores serving B-class gourmet foods from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, open 24 hours a day. Both of us, living in Yokohama, are originally from Fukuoka, so we couldn't resist the charm of Kyushu! We toasted at the Kyushu and Okinawa restaurants. We ordered "drooling chicken" and chicken skin. I don't remember the taste, but it was decent I guess. We had a couple more drinks and that was the end of the day~♪ Next time, let's gather the group in Fukuoka~(^^ゞ

The first restaurant I went to in Ginza for easy-to-eat Japanese food was a big disappointment. So I came here feeling down. "Kai no Masu" offers a variety of shellfish at a great cost performance! If you order food from the neighboring restaurant, they will deliver it to you. From "Gyu no Saijo," we had a delicious beef tripe stew delivered, and they operate on a cash exchange system. All the restaurants were full of young people. It was cheap, delicious, and amazing.

Even at this time of year, it's quite crowded with a lot of people. The customers are on the younger side, with many men in suits. The restroom is shared, so if you need to go, you should go right away. The food is okay. It's quite flavorful and high in calories. The dumplings I ordered were a bit mushy.

I finally got to visit the izakaya I had been wanting to go to for a long time. I had read about it in a book, where I learned that it gathers delicious food from all over the country and you can eat there at a reasonable price. So, I decided to go with a friend. After getting off at Yurakucho Station and walking towards Shinbashi, we found the restaurant. It was like multiple shops coming together under one roof. We went into a Kyushu cuisine restaurant, ordered some dishes, and cheers with beer. I was wondering how we could try food from other regions when I saw a notice on the wall saying you can order menus from other shops. I immediately ordered from other shops as well. Just a heads up, you need to have cash ready as you pay separately for dishes from different shops. By the way, I forgot to take photos of the dishes, so I'll just share a picture of the motsu skewers. They were delicious and had a nice texture. It's great that you can also try various regional drinks at the izakaya.

I stopped by because I saw it on TV and was curious. The atmosphere under the guard was excellent. They also deliver menus from other stores, so you can enjoy any store you enter. I went to a shellfish shop this time and ordered one dish each from a fish shop and a beef shop. Payment for menus from other stores is cash only. The menu of the store you enter can be settled with something other than cash at the end. As for the food, we enjoyed various shellfish dishes as expected from a specialty store. The sea urchin yakisoba was very rich and delicious. The appetizer was simmered tsubugai, and we ordered squid salted fish, cream cheese with mentaiko, scallop isobe-yaki, and sea urchin yakisoba. From other stores, we had mackerel sashimi and beef miso hormone. The cost performance was not great, but the atmosphere and taste were good. Also, you can smoke at your table, and there is a separate smoking room. I think it's a recommended restaurant for smokers, haha.

In early March, on a certain Saturday, a companion suggested coming here, so we met after work and visited the place. The place seemed to have shops from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, as well as specialty shops for fish, shellfish, chicken, beef, etc. It felt like they were all gathered in one area. Without much thought, we decided to start with the shops from the Tohoku region. Little did we know that this decision would lead to a series of unfortunate events. We ordered a highball and a draft beer, and then some Aomori garlic dishes. However, after waiting for a while, we were told that both dishes were sold out. We ended up with deep-fried garlic cloves, marinated mackerel, and assorted grilled chicken skewers. The service was slow and laid-back, and the quality was mediocre. We then decided to visit a seafood specialty shop, which was crowded but we managed to get a table. We had some snacks, a saba fish dish, a sashimi platter, a grilled saba, fried horse mackerel, and a seafood skewer platter. The food was good but on the pricier side. Overall, the experience left us feeling unsatisfied. It might have been more enjoyable if the shops were not so isolated and instead offered a variety of dishes in a food court style setting. We left the place feeling a bit disappointed and with a hefty bill.

I heard that the Yurakucho Sanchoku Yokocho, where I used to visit often, has been renovated after about 2 years, so I went to check it out. The place looked really beautiful, with a mix of a casual and luxurious atmosphere inside and outside! I couldn't find the horse meat restaurant that I used to frequent, so I ended up going into the Hokkaido Market at the front. The menu offers a variety of Hokkaido's B-class gourmet dishes! However, the prices were a bit high (sweat). The potato with butter was 100 yen per piece (sweat), and the escargot-style tsubugai was 150 yen per piece (sweat). I ordered a few appetizers, had some beer, and ended up spending about 5,500 yen per person in less than 2 hours. I would like to try a different restaurant next time. I found out that the horse meat restaurant I used to go to has relocated to Roppongi, so I definitely want to visit there as well. Thank you for the meal!

I heard that a sister store of Ebisu Yokocho opened in Yurakucho, so I went on the opening day. The large store had been renovated, so it was already crowded with people from the beginning. The Yokocho consists of 11 shops, and you can order takeout from anywhere, so it was hard to decide where to eat. Among them, I chose to dine at "Hokkaido Shokushi," which was really unique. The interior was decorated with kumade and paper lanterns from Tori no Ichi, creating a space that didn't feel like a typical dining place. The food was all delicious, with a variety of ramen options including Sapporo (miso), Asahikawa (soy sauce), and Muroran curry ramen. I would like to try other shops in the Yokocho next time.

It's a great place to drink and have a lively time. I chose the "Fish" course and the dishes were delicious. There is a wide variety of drinks available with just the right strength. The only downside is that the tables are a bit small and wobbly. The staff are quick and attentive. I'm thinking of trying the "Hokkaido" or "Beef" courses next time.

Visited around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The atmosphere is nice but it's expensive. It cost almost 18,000 yen for two people. That's way too high even for Yurakucho. We didn't even eat much.

Tonight, I visited an izakaya specializing in Kyushu and Okinawan cuisine. I enjoyed yakitori and raw horse meat before finishing the night with Okinawan soba. My companion had Nagahama ramen. It was a night filled with tropical flavors.
