It is a chain restaurant, so it may not have the personalized touch of a small individual restaurant, but it is great for gatherings of 5-6 people due to its spacious seating. The focus is on speed and quantity, but the food is decent overall. The crab dishes, sashimi, and salmon sashimi were tasty. The yakitori was typical of a chain restaurant. The recommended dish is the "Ramen Salad," which is a salad with ramen noodles that pairs well with the dressing. They also serve a variety of drinks, including a refreshing "Fresh Grapefruit Sour" with real fruit. It's a good place for a lively group gathering.

I visited this restaurant near my company for the first time. I had once planned a drinking party here in Kinshicho, but ended up canceling, so I felt sorry about that. The restaurant confirmed that there was no financial loss as the reservation was just for seats. I ordered the pork cutlet set, and although the salad was delicious, both the cutlet and spaghetti were just okay. The kids seemed to really enjoy it, so I finished my meal and left.

Had lunch with my colleagues at a cozy restaurant where we could easily have a conversation without it being too crowded. Despite being an izakaya, they also offer lunch sets. I ordered the daily special set for 850 yen, which was salted green onion and teriyaki chicken. The flavors were a bit strong, typical of izakaya dishes, but the portion size was generous. You can also get a free upgrade to a larger portion of rice. Thank you for the meal.

I went with a friend! The hokke was bigger and tastier than in the photos! However, I splurged on the double portion of ikura donburi (about 3000 yen) but the amount was not as expected, it seemed like a regular portion! I was really looking forward to it, so I was very disappointed.

I forgot to take a picture, but the crab and shirako tempura were delicious. The student part-time staff brought me cold oolong tea instead of hot, and even left a note saying "Caution, hot tea" when it was clearly cold. It was funny when I pointed it out and they realized their mistake. Maybe they're still getting used to the job.

I came to this restaurant in Kinshicho because there weren't many places offering crab. The staff's service was very good and the food was served quickly. However, the snow crab itself was watery and disappointing for the price. The sashimi was fresh and other dishes were delicious! I would like to use this izakaya again.

I had a quick lunch in between work. It was a unique experience with the combination of warm and cold dishes, but the dashi chazuke at the end was delicious. I had to visit this restaurant for a certain reason, and even though it was only for 30 minutes, I'm glad I could dine there.

This is a chain izakaya located in Kinshicho! The expiration date of the 500T points, which can only be used in Hokkaido, is approaching on the 17th, so I decided to use them for lunch. I went up to the second floor and entered the restaurant. The staff was quick to take orders, but there was a touch panel device behind them where you could place orders. I thought the food would come out quickly since it's a chain izakaya, but surprisingly it took some time for the dishes to arrive! As for the taste... The lunch set included a main dish in a bowl, miso soup, pickles, a small side dish, and kelp tea dashi. The small side dish was mentaiko. The miso soup was refillable with rice, but the miso wasn't fully dissolved, so I didn't feel like getting a refill. The seafood bowl had negitoro, tsubugai, salmon, cucumber, horse mackerel, yellowtail, and other white fish. It came with three sheets of seaweed, so I made some sushi rolls and tried them. I ordered extra rice, so after eating about half, I poured the kelp tea dashi. The kelp tea dashi itself was quite bland, and it became lukewarm quite quickly. In the end, it tasted better without the dashi. I think the dashi should have a stronger flavor, and it felt odd to serve the dashi together with the dish. I wanted to eat it as a hot ochazuke. Paypay was also accepted, but this time I used the 500T points and paid the difference with T points as well.

This place used to have tanks where you could eat crab sashimi, but when I visited after a long time, the tanks were gone, so unfortunately there was no crab sashimi on the menu. The snow crab tempura was also gone. I had the "Hokkaido Fisherman's Seafood Bowl" for 1,290 yen (tax included) which came with kelp dashi. Free refills for miso soup with tofu and sliced kombu. The spicy cod roe that came with it was delicious. The "Hokkaido Salted Kombu Salad with Japanese Dressing" was 649 yen (tax included). The crab cream croquettes made with Hokkaido milk (2 pieces) were disappointing as they were surprisingly lukewarm. They are meant to be eaten hot, so they weren't tasty at all. The assorted tempura of snow crab and vegetables was 1,529 yen (tax included) and was just average. The grilled crab miso in the shell for 869 yen (tax included) was grilled underneath, but it wasn't hot enough even after the flame went out. The scallop cheese bake for 649 yen (tax included) was also grilled underneath and was hot, but a bit too salty.

On my third visit, the seafood bowl was delicious. The broth had a strong kelp flavor. The miso soup was also tasty with kelp broth. The fried chicken was crispy. The dipping sauce was average. Overall, it was a satisfying meal this time, unlike my previous visits.

I visited for the first time during lunchtime to use Atom's shareholder benefits. I was able to enter without waiting. The restaurant is spacious, but there were only a few customers, probably due to it being a weekday or because of the pandemic. I think there used to be more customers even on weekdays before the pandemic. The presentation was good and the taste was consistent.

I tried using a Yahoo! Loco Go-Go coupon to reserve and have lunch. The chain izakaya is located across from Rakuten in Kinshicho Station, and I think I've been there for lunch once before. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit. It seems like there are few staff members during lunchtime, so they are a bit rushed. The touch panel cannot be used for lunch, and there is unlimited rice and miso soup refills. The temperature check and disinfection by the staff at the entrance may be one of the reasons why the service in the hall is slow. The cheapest option is the daily special for 850 yen, but it's limited to 5 servings... Are they even trying? I think it was sold out last time I came as well. Other set meals are not cheap for an izakaya lunch, and there are no Hokkaido elements like Chicken Nanban or Oily Chicken. I ordered the most Hokkaido-like dish, the Spaghetti Cutlet for 880 yen. Since it doesn't come with miso soup or rice, it might not be the best value. It took over 30 minutes from ordering to serving... This is unacceptable. For a chain izakaya lunch, speed and cost performance should be more important than taste. If it's going to take a long time, they should let you know in advance. And the spaghetti in this cutlet seemed like it had been soaked in water and left for a while. It was so watery and soft. Because of this excess moisture, the meat sauce was diluted, and I had to add Tabasco to make it somewhat edible. The cutlet was thin, but the breading was soggy due to the pasta's water content. It may have been just my experience, but it was a dissatisfying lunch that was not delicious and took too long. I used a 500 yen discount coupon, but even with that, I would hesitate to visit again.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on Saturday. There was one person already seated, and later a group of three customers arrived. It was quite cold inside, possibly due to COVID-19 measures. I kept my down jacket on while eating. The sashimi consisted of Thai, salmon, and yellowtail, all delicious. The yellowtail seemed to be more like teriyaki style, with a soy sauce glaze on grilled salted fish. Hmm.

I visited a crab all-you-can-eat restaurant with a senior colleague. They had a special coupon that could only be used at this restaurant. I don't eat crab often, so I couldn't remember the last time I had it. The king crab and snow crab were both thick and juicy. The hot pot was also delicious. My fingers were a bit sore from cracking the shells, but it was a great feeling to enjoy crab after a long time.

At this age (I turned 40...), I don't use chain restaurants as much, but I still use them for work social events, and the quality seems to have improved compared to before! One of my favorite chain restaurants is Hokkaido. When you think of Hokkaido, you might think of delicious seafood, but the vegetables and meat are also delicious. I was particularly impressed by the raw corn I had this time, it was sweet and very tasty. If you're unsure about which chain restaurant to choose, definitely consider "Hokkaido"!

This is an izakaya in front of Kinshicho Station. The exterior is easily recognizable with a large sign on the outer wall. You enter through an outside staircase to the second floor where the entrance is located. The interior is quite spacious, with a large open area with several tables. There also seem to be small private rooms. During lunchtime, smoking is allowed in designated areas, so the smoking rate is high. The lunch menu offers 8 options ranging from 830 yen. There are seafood bowls (1,080 yen) and grilled fish set meals (930 yen) available, as well as non-seafood options, showing the challenges of running a lunch service at an izakaya. Rice and miso soup are refillable, and you can add a drink for an extra 100 yen. I ordered the daily lunch special (830 yen) which was a mixed fry set. It included fried horse mackerel, fried shrimp, and 2 pieces of fried chicken. The side dishes were chilled tofu and pickled radish. The fried items seemed to be frozen and lacked a bit of flavor, especially the shrimp which was soft. The tartar sauce was not provided, so I had to make do with the accompanying sauce, but I don't mind as I prefer sauce. The fried chicken was juicy and well-prepared. Overall, the frying technique was good with minimal greasiness. The shredded cabbage came with a tomato garnish, showing a nice touch. Although the izakaya focuses on seafood from Hokkaido, the mixed fry was surprisingly average. It's not bad if you think of it as a regular izakaya meal, and my companion's chicken nanban was quite filling, so ordering something other than seafood might be more satisfying.

I visited a chain izakaya restaurant affiliated with a major corporation around 3 pm on New Year's Eve. Since there were few places open for lunch, I decided to try this chain that I don't usually visit. We started with a toast with beer, but the beer didn't taste very good, possibly due to poor cleaning of the tap. The appetizer was simmered daikon and minced meat in a thick sauce. For snacks, we had a potato salad with lots of chunks of potatoes and whole boiled eggs mixed in. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to mix the boiled eggs into the salad. We also had smashed cucumber and a sashimi platter for two. We then had house wine poured into a decanter. If they source their drinks from Asahi, I think the Chilean "Alpaca" wine is better than the French "San Van San." Although I usually don't consider chain restaurants for reviews, I think there are advantages to big corporations like cost efficiency through economies of scale and operational quality standardization through investments in IT. However, I believe that neglecting basic aspects like equipment maintenance and cleaning can ruin everything in the food and beverage industry.

Today's lunch is at "Hokkaido Nishikicho Store" located at the south exit of Kinshicho Station. I have been here for weekend lunch before, but this is my first time visiting on a weekday. I arrived before 12 pm, so the restaurant was about half full. However, it was almost full by the time I left. I ordered the "Today's Grilled Fish Set" which featured grilled hokke fish. The portion size was decent, but the taste of the hokke fish was average, similar to what you would find at a chain restaurant. I wish it had a fresher taste. The set only came with one side dish, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. The rice and miso soup could also use improvement in terms of quality. Considering the price of 930 yen, I would expect either a lower price or higher quality of taste. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and the service is decent, but it was a bit disappointing overall.

I was told that there was no reservation and that the restaurant was fully booked. Other customers were also in the same situation. The dishes seemed to have downgraded in quality compared to when I last visited. I used to think it was a pretty good restaurant, but I don't think I'll be going back next time.

Hmm, it was a bit disappointing. The ramen salad and salmon were delicious, but the main dish of hairy crab was a bit disappointing for the price. I remember the value for money being better in the past.
