When it comes to Muroran, yakitori is famous, so I chose this restaurant to visit. I arrived around 7:00 pm on a Sunday during the peak of summer vacation, but there was already a wait for over ten groups. When I asked the staff how long it would take, they couldn't give a definite answer but said it would be at least an hour. Despite coming all the way to Muroran, I didn't want to give up on yakitori here, so I decided to wait for at least an hour. I actually tried to make a reservation by phone the day before, but the seats were already filled, so I was told to come in on the day. Knowing that, I was determined to wait no matter what. After about an hour, we were finally able to enter. We immediately ordered various dishes. Muroran's yakitori is said to be made primarily of grilled pork shoulder loin. Of course, there is also chicken, known as "tori-sei." Now, the taste of the grilled pork skewers was very delicious. The meat itself was tender, and the secret sauce added to its flavor. It was so good that I wanted to eat as many skewers as I could.

When in Muroran, you must try Muroran yakitori. I visited the main branch, although there is also a branch in Sapporo. In Muroran, yakitori refers to grilled skewers. They are delicious when eaten with sauce and mustard. I recommend trying the quail skewers with the shells still on. Thank you for the meal.

Here we go again! When it comes to Muroran, it's all about Muroran yakitori. And when it comes to Muroran yakitori, it's all about Yakitori Ippei. Even arriving at 5:15 pm on a weekday, the place was already packed. After waiting for about 5 minutes, we were able to get seated right away. We were seated in a private booth with partitions, giving it a cozy feel. It felt like we were dining at a traditional Japanese restaurant with a view of the garden from the window. We started with drinks. Just like last time, we ordered a Hokkaido sake tasting set for 1,350 yen. We tried Kokki Kigoroshi, Niseiko, and Ran no Mai. The server brought the bottles to our table and poured the sake in front of us. They filled the cups to the brim, and when I thanked them, they said, "No, there's still more." They poured the sake to the brim, showing great service. By the way, last time, I was so impressed with the taste that I bought Ran no Mai as a souvenir. And here's the shocking fact: although it's sold as a Hokkaido sake, it's actually brewed in Tottori Prefecture! Can we still call it a Hokkaido sake? Well, let's not sweat the small stuff. We ordered the Meikween's Mochi Butter for 550 yen. When it arrived, it came with squid shiokara. My companion mentioned that dipping shiokara in butter is a Hakodate tradition, but it's becoming common throughout Hokkaido. Next, we ordered the Muroran Yakitori Sauce for 190 yen and the Liver Sauce for 180 yen. The minimum order is two skewers. The meat is delicious, but the sauce is what makes it so tasty. We also had the Hokkaido Ramen Salad for 750 yen. Last time, I was impressed by the visual of it looking like regular ramen, but now I see a different shape. Is that the face of a pig? We finished off with our favorite minced meat with mustard for 220 yen and the Hokkaido specialty Zangi for 580 yen. Finally, the Grilled Onigiri for 280 yen arrived as the perfect ending. Last time, a lady next to us enjoyed it so much that I promised myself to order it next time. The soy sauce-flavored grilled onigiri with butter was absolutely delicious. The gentle taste of the miso soup was also delightful. It was truly a delicious meal. I will definitely order the grilled onigiri again next time.

I arrived at the restaurant on Monday at 5:10 PM and there was already one group waiting in line. It was a weekday Monday and it was strange that they hadn't opened by 5 PM, especially since it was raining. After about 5 minutes, they finally started seating people. I sat at the counter by myself and could see the live grilling happening. However, the hot air was a bit uncomfortable. I ordered the recommended yakitori salt skewer, ton toro skewer, tsukune with egg (2 skewers), asparagus, and two glasses of draft beer. With the appetizer included, the total came to 2830 yen. The recommended pork yakitori was delicious. Personally, I prefer the local tsukune from Chapiin. It was a fun experience to talk about during my travels.

It's a regular day but quite crowded. I visited for the second time and the yakitori is delicious. The sauce is also good, very tasty. Am I the only one who thinks quail eggs don't need the shell? There are still many things I haven't tried, so I will visit again.

It is a well-known famous restaurant in Muroran. The yakitori in Muroran is mainly made with pork. When I arrived at 9 o'clock on Saturday, there were about two groups waiting because the restaurant was full. The taste of all the dishes was delicious. Personally, I recommend the shiro and toro (fatty) pork. I also tried ramen salad for the first time in my life.

We couldn't make a reservation for two people, so we went directly to the restaurant and waited for about an hour while taking a walk. We ordered pork intestine, fried natto, ramen salad, buttered sweet potato (with salted fish roe), and a set of Hokkaido sake tasting. Everything was very delicious. The ramen salad may not look appealing, but it was refreshing and tasty.

This is a long-established restaurant in Muroran specializing in yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). They serve quail eggs, perfectly cooked to perfection. Quail eggs have very thin shells, so you can eat them as they are. Muroran yakitori is essentially raw pork meat, which you eat with mustard. A local taught me that for the second piece of meat, you should dip it in mustard, put a piece of Western confectionery on the tip of your tongue, and eat it with the meat to enhance the flavor. Whenever I visit nearby, I always make sure to dine at this wonderful restaurant.

When it comes to Yakitori in Muroran, Ichihira is a popular local spot where a line forms from the 17:00 opening time. I went on a weekday night around 19:00 and there was still a long line. However, it was worth the wait as I had a wonderful time enjoying delicious food. Thank you for the meal. I look forward to visiting again.

When I went on a business trip to Muroran, I wanted to try authentic Muroran yakitori, so I did some research and visited this place. It was a weekday, but it was quite crowded with locals. The speed of serving the dishes was satisfactory, so I think it's good for both drinking alone and going in a group.

When it comes to Muroran, it's all about Ippei! It might be a good idea to make a reservation if you arrive at 6 p.m. on a holiday and already see a line. In addition to skewers, we also ordered tsukune and potato bacon, and everything was delicious!

I want to eat Muroran yakitori, so I come here. This is my second time here. The quail can be eaten raw, which might be unique to Muroran. It is crispy and delicious. When it comes to yakitori, Muroran yakitori with pork belly and onion is the best combination.

Arrived at the restaurant before 6 pm on Friday. Was seated at the counter right away. Soon after, a rush of customers arrived, and the waiting line quickly formed. I'm glad I came early. While looking around the interior that I've seen on TV, I first ordered a tasting set of 3 Hokkaido sake for 1,350 yen. It included Kunimare Oni Goroshi, Niseko, and Ran no Mai. Ran no Mai had a slightly brown color, which was unique. Starting with a sense of duty to eat vegetables, I ordered the Ramen Salad for 750 yen. It looked exactly like ramen, with Naruto, nori, and menma. Instead of chashu, it had chicken meat. For yakitori, you have to order at least 2 skewers of the same type. I started with the classic Muroran Yakitori for 180 yen. As expected, it was made with pork. It was tender, well-coated with sauce, and absolutely delicious. The mustard added a nice touch. Next, I tried the Muroran Grilled Quail with Shell for 360 yen. It had a shocking visual! As the name suggests, it was quail eggs with the shell still on! I couldn't believe you could eat the shell... but you can, and it's delicious. The 70th-anniversary special Spicy Miso from the butcher shop for 200 yen was exquisite! It's my personal recommendation. For dessert, I had the unique Soup Curry Cheese Tsukune for 550 yen. It was interesting and tasty in its own way. I enjoyed my meal and drinks thoroughly, and it was reasonably priced. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal♪ The onigiri the customer next to me was eating looked really good. I'll definitely try it next time.

I went on a business trip with my colleague. It was Thursday and the restaurant was full, with a wait of about 30 minutes even with a reservation. However, we were seated in about 20 minutes. We ordered the essential grilled meat, as well as the old-fashioned spicy miso grilled meat. We also decided to try the chicken grilled meat. The grilled meat was delicious, with a sweet and savory sauce similar to pork bowl. The meat was tender and satisfying. Surprisingly, the chicken was also very tasty.

Visited on February 21, 2023. I came to Muroran for work on short notice. After getting work settled, I thought about heading back to Sapporo, but I invited the branch manager who I entrusted with the office to a modest New Year's party (laughs). We had a fun New Year's party in Sapporo with everyone attending after a long time, so I treated the branch manager (laughs). The manager chose this place, "Yakitori Ippei Nakajima Main Store," a nice choice indeed, as I wanted to come here (laughs). However... despite it being a weekday, there was a wait, as expected of a famous restaurant (laughs). After waiting for about 40 minutes, we sat at the counter. Muroran yakitori is unique with pork minced meat, grilled quail with mustard, and so on. Well, actually, I was born in Muroran, but it was during my childhood (laughs). This was my first time at Ippei's place. We had various dishes, and everything was delicious, which surprised me. It seems that most of the Muroran yakitori restaurants in Sapporo are alumni of Ippei's place. The drinks were flowing, and I ended up drinking quite a bit (laughs). The steak-like dish made with Shiraoi beef was also delicious. I'll definitely come back again! Since there's also an Ippei's place in Sapporo, I'll start by visiting the nearby one! If you're in Muroran, it's all about "Yakiton". Instead of skewers with green onions, it's skewers with onions for Yakiton. This is known as Muroran's specialty pork skewer, "Negima". I visited this local famous restaurant after traveling to various places from Sapporo to Tomakomai and Muroran. I didn't make a reservation at that time. Looking from outside the restaurant, I could see the charcoal grill where the chefs were grilling skewers with enthusiasm and the crowded counter seats. Even though it seemed fully booked, I followed the staff's guidance and was able to sit in a room further back in the restaurant. I was surprised by the room which was spacious and intricately designed like a lord's castle room. To catch the last train home, I quickly placed my order. The pork skewers were not made with pork belly, but the meat was not too tough, retaining the flavor and sweetness of the sauce like sake, along with a rich meaty taste. It had a nice chewy texture and paired well with mustard. It's a taste that you can only experience in Muroran. There were also some unique menu items. I ordered the charcoal-grilled whole quail with shell, which was crispy and crunchy, allowing me to enjoy the texture of the shell. It was well-seasoned and delicious. The taste, service, price, and atmosphere were all top-notch, just as expected from a must-visit restaurant in Muroran.

I hadn't had the opportunity to eat out for dinner in Muroran for 2 years and 8 months, but I finally went to Ichihira. I arrived around 6pm on Saturday and luckily there was no wait. We were seated right away and asked for drinks. While waiting, we looked at the menu and ordered all of the recommended items by my husband who had been there a few times before. We ordered grilled meat, quail, chicken skin tsukune, mochi bacon, and asparagus in order. We enjoyed them with mustard. Delicious! We also added grilled meat, liver, and pork belly. The grilled meat, as well as the chicken skin, liver, and pork belly, had a little bit of onion sandwiched in between, which made a big difference in taste. Delicious! The staff were efficient and we had a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

After waiting for over an hour with 7 groups ahead of us, we finally got a table and ordered some Muroran yakitori with beer. The beer was delicious, especially the Asahi Super Dry. The yakitori arrived quickly and we dug in eagerly. The Muroran yakitori was flavorful, especially when dipped in the spicy miso sauce. We also had a variety of drinks including black beer and grapefruit sour. The total bill for two of us was just over 6,000 yen, but it was worth it for the satisfying meal. The chicken was tender, the pork skewers with spicy miso were addictive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual night out. We will definitely be coming back to this place again!

When it comes to Muroran, Muroran Yakitori is famous, and this particular restaurant is well-known for its delicious yakitori. It is always crowded, even on weekdays, and reservations are a must, especially on weekends. The main branch is located here, with several affiliated branches in the city, but it seems that Onehei, with its red signboard, is a separate entity from the yellow signboard branches. The interior of the restaurant has counter and table seating, as well as tatami seating towards the back. You must order at least two yakitori skewers, but you can mix and match different skewers. The yakitori is juicy and delicious. While Sapporo now has many delicious yakitori restaurants, Muroran Yakitori remains exceptional. The pork and onion skewers, known as Muroran Yakitori, are a must-try. Other recommended dishes include the tender Pork Kakuni, Quail Charcoal Grill with soft shells, and flavorful Motsu Nabe. The Cheese Karaage, fresh salad, and crispy Potato Fries are also excellent choices. The Torigataki was frozen, and the horse meat was tasty but thin. Overall, this restaurant is great, but its constant popularity and the need for reservations can be challenging.

At Muroran Yakitori Ippin, you can enjoy Muroran-style grilled chicken skewers. The place is quite popular, so it's recommended to arrive 15 minutes before opening time. Even then, there might be a wait as there were already 4 groups in line. Once inside, you'll sit at the counter right in front of the grilling station, giving you a great view of the skewers being cooked. The grilled chicken skewers are delicious, with just the right amount of sauce. They go well with beer. The mustard miso flavor is also worth trying. The meatballs are served off the skewer, making them easy to eat. The place is always busy and bustling, but it's definitely worth the visit.
