"Haruyoshi" is located in Chuo Sanrin in Kitami City, Hokkaido. Currently, it has a rating of 3.49 on Tabelog with 70.75 points, but there are not many reviews so please take this information with caution. - Visit date: June 2023 (Saturday) - Location: Approximately 4km west of Kitami Station on Route 39, about a 10-minute drive. - Parking: Available with over 20 spaces in front of the restaurant. - Waiting system and rules: Two shifts from 11:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 19:30, closed on Mondays. It tends to get crowded on weekends. - Ordering and payment: Order verbally and pay in cash afterwards. - Menu: Various ramen options ranging from miso, salt, soy sauce, spicy versions to special toppings like natto and fish soy sauce. Prices range from 950 to 1200 yen. - Routine: The restaurant has counter seating for 7, 4-person tables, 5 tables for 3 people, totaling 30 seats. The kitchen has 3 staff members and the floor has 2. Orders are cooked to order and served in about 7-8 minutes. The whole dining experience lasts about 20 minutes. - Other: The owner, Haruyoshi Hen, trained at "Sai Suet" in Sapporo and opened this restaurant in 2008. They relocated to the current location in 2016 and received a Michelin Plate in the 2017 Hokkaido Michelin Guide. The recommended dish is the miso ramen, which has a light brown soup with a mild miso flavor and toppings like stir-fried bean sprouts, char siu, and ginger. The noodles are from Morizumi Seimen, a popular choice in Sapporo ramen. The taste is similar to "Sai Suet" and is delicious, offering a unique blend of rich yet mellow flavors. It is a must-visit place for those looking for authentic Sapporo-style ramen in Kitami.

Hokkaido Wanderlust Travel 66: The miso ramen in Kitami City was incredibly delicious (。♡‿♡。) It has been registered as one of the top 100 best ramen shops! The owner is originally from Sapporo's famous restaurant Ayumi, and opened this shop in Nishikitami in 2008 before relocating to the current new location in 2015. Therefore, the ratings on food review websites have been reset (・ัω・ั) The shop is located in a residential area. When I arrived towards the end of the lunch hours, there were 3 groups waiting in line! I overheard high school girls talking about how delicious the natto and hormone dish was. There are many intriguing menu items at this place (・ัω・ั) After about a 10-minute wait, I was seated at the counter and ordered the miso ramen for ¥980. The cafe-style shop has a trendy atmosphere, and both the staff and customers seemed to be enjoying themselves. The soup was served, and after just one sip, I thought, "Delicious!" The soup was rich but easy to drink, with a good balance of vegetable flavors. The savory taste of the meat-based broth, combined with the aroma of the lard, was a nice touch. The ginger on top of the chashu was a game-changer! I could eat this non-stop if I mixed it into the soup (〃゚3゚〃) The aged noodles from Morizumi Seimen paired perfectly with the broth. The generous amount of toppings, especially the chunks of onions, added a sweet touch that complemented the soup. I finished every last drop of the soup and left the shop feeling completely satisfied (。・ω・。)ノ♡ As the lunch hours ended, the owner was selling onions outside the shop, and customers were flocking around him. It was a heartwarming scene to see him explaining the onions to the customers while selling them. It has been 15 years since he left Ayumi, but I believe that this shop, Haruyoshi, has truly mastered the art of miso ramen, separate from the legacy of Ayumi.

Saturday at 11:30 is fully booked! I was able to quickly get a seat at the counter where I could see the kitchen because the turnover was fast. The kitchen staff was very busy, working efficiently with good coordination with the waitstaff, and everyone was moving without any wasted effort. The cleanliness was perfect, from the counter to the chopstick holder, everything was sparkling. When I asked for a recommendation, the cheerful staff member suggested the miso ramen. In just 10 minutes, the miso ramen arrived with chashu and ginger on top, and I decided to mix it up halfway through (laughs). I took a sip of the soup... it was incredibly delicious! The noodles were springy and just right, the soup was exactly to my liking, and I reached heaven when I mixed in the ginger halfway through (laughs). It was so tasty! The slight earthy taste of the bean sprouts bothered me a bit, but it disappeared when I added ginger. It's been a while since I had such delicious ramen! It was really delicious, perfect! Thank you for the meal♪

This is my first time visiting since they moved. It was early evening, right after they opened. The food is still delicious as ever. The miso ramen is the best. I wanted to try some rice dishes too, but there are restrictions on weekends. It's a popular place, so it can't be helped. The dumplings and rice dish ramen are already legendary, aren't they? That's the only downside. If it weren't for that, I would give it 4 stars! Thank you for the meal!

Having dinner in Kitami! It's been a few years since I last visited Harukichi. I tried to go before, but they were closed on that day. I arrived a little past 5 pm, when they started their evening service. There was already one group of customers there. The new restaurant looks nice and clean! They have counter seats and table seats inside. I decided to have their miso ramen, so I ordered the Miso Ramen for 950 yen. The restaurant had Wi-Fi, so I used it while waiting, and after about 10 minutes, my ramen arrived. It looked like classic Sapporo ramen. The soup seemed a bit light at first, but as I continued eating, it started to taste just right. It might have been a bit lighter than last time, but it was still delicious. The stir-fried minced meat really adds a nice flavor. I prefer my miso ramen with stir-fried minced meat. The toppings included bean sprouts, stir-fried minced meat, chashu, green onions, menma, wood ear mushrooms, and ginger. The wood ear mushrooms really complement the noodles well. The chashu was flavorful. Mixing the ginger into the soup halfway through added a nice twist to the taste. The only downside was that the green onions were a bit dry. Overall, Harukichi never fails to deliver delicious ramen. The staff were friendly and efficient, living up to their reputation as a popular restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I last visited. Eating out has decreased, mainly due to the recent rise in prices. Despite that, my salary hasn't increased at all. It's tough on the wallet to enjoy food adventures at the same pace as before. This time, I went to "Harukichi" after about a year. I used to visit about once or twice a month. I was torn between ordering shrimp salt ramen and ended up getting the miso ramen for 950 yen. The price has gone up. However, the taste is perfect as always. I may not be able to go frequently, but I'll definitely come back when I crave it.

It's been about a year since I last visited Haruyoshi-san. As expected, it's delicious. This place is my favorite. The seasoned egg is tasty, but it seems to have various influences here. It looks like the seasoned egg is taking a break for a while. I plan to visit two more times this year. I had the miso ramen, and my husband had the shrimp salt ramen. We were treated to gyoza by the owner! Ah, I feel revived. Of course, we finished all the food and drinks. I have decided that I must finish the ramen here. Haruyoshi-san seemed as busy as ever, but we'll come back in the summer! Thank you for the meal! For those who go to Kitami City, please go and try it out! The gyoza is also delicious!

We visited the restaurant for lunch with our family of five during our homecoming trip. My in-laws are regulars here and often get takeout frozen dumplings, so we were looking forward to it. We ordered spicy miso, miso tripe, large miso tripe, shrimp salt, and half portion of miso ramen (since there was no kids menu). It was bustling during the Golden Week holiday, so we couldn't take our time to take photos, but the shrimp salt ramen was delicious. Seriously. I've had quite a few "shrimp ramen" in Sapporo, but it's rare to find one that brings out the deliciousness of shrimp with salt instead of miso. Harukichi's shrimp salt ramen is delicious. After just one bite, I was as shocked by its deliciousness as I was by a famous ramen shop in Moshige. Of course, the other dishes were delicious too! Even the dumplings were enjoyed by our little one. We have added another restaurant to our list of places to visit during our homecoming trips. Thank you for the meal!

It had been a while since I last visited Haruyoshi-san's place, and I noticed that the prices had gone up even more. I was torn between the menu options but decided to try the spicy miso ramen for the first time. When it arrived, I thought the spiciness in the miso was different from what I had imagined. If it was going to be like this, maybe just adding some chili pepper would have been enough? The spiciness was lacking, and I felt a bit disappointed. I wonder if the noodles have changed? Was the umami flavor also less today? Maybe it's just my own changing taste buds? Overall, it felt like an unsatisfying bowl. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant on the way to Abashiri. I ordered the shrimp salt ramen, which had a subtle miso flavor in the broth with a delicate saltiness and a fragrant shrimp broth. The companion's choice of spicy miso ramen was a bit disappointing, perhaps because the expectations were too high.

Miso ramen large serving for 1050 yen. The miso flavor is almost identical to the shoyu one. I personally prefer the shoyu flavor. I have been coming here for business trips since before they moved, and the taste remains consistently delicious. The option for adding an egg topping was not available, possibly due to price increases. I usually alternate between miso and shoyu ramen, so next time I think I'll go for the shoyu.

My friend was hesitant to enter a new restaurant alone, so I accompanied them. We arrived a little before 11:00 and there were about 5-6 customers already there. I told them that the miso ramen was the best, so we both ordered it and were surprised when it arrived in less than 10 minutes. My friend was surprised by the amount of ginger and oil in the ramen. They commented that there was too much oil and suggested that half the amount would be better. They also mentioned that the noodles were delicious with their preferred texture. We both agreed that the soup had too much oil, but overall, we enjoyed the meal. I also noted that it had been a while since I last visited and was surprised by the excessive oiliness. We left most of the soup uneaten. Thank you for the meal.

We headed there using JR and on foot. The shop owner had trained at the super popular Sapporo restaurant "Ayami" and their name is even engraved on the noren. It's a ramen shop in the "pure Sumi" style, and it's a really delicious place. This time, I ordered the classic miso ramen. Noodles: Mori Sumi Seimen's curly medium-thick noodles. The noodles were in perfect condition, boiled to a firm and yellow curly texture. The Mori Sumi Seimen medium-thick curly noodles pair well with the soup. Toppings: 1 slice of char siu, ground meat, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, chopped green onions. The roasted char siu adds depth to the soup, and mixing in the ginger topping tightens the soup and adds a different flavor. Soup: A rich and mellow miso flavor based on pork bones and chicken, with grated ginger. The soup is hot with a moderate oil film. The soup, made from carefully processed domestic pork knuckles and chicken bones, is refreshing yet flavorful. It's a unique miso ramen that tastes nothing like typical miso ramen, more similar to a seafood soy sauce flavor. The rich miso flavor and the sweetness of the vegetables are undeniable. It's been a long time since I've encountered such a delicious and gentle soup. Despite being light, the rich and mild flavor with little miso odor comes from a pork bone and chicken bone base. The roasted char siu's aroma adds depth to the soup, and mixing in the ginger tightens the soup for a different flavor. Thanks to ingredients like ginger, my body continued to feel warm even after eating.

It's been a while since I had ramen at Harukichi. It's been about 3 years, I think? I've really missed it. It's one of the representative ramen shops in Kitami, and even if they opened a branch in Sapporo, they would definitely be popular. I'm grateful that they continue to operate in Kitami. This time, I ordered the spicy miso ramen and gyoza. It's not just spicy, but you can really taste the umami. The highlight of this ramen is the flavor change when you dissolve the ginger halfway through. It's always perfect and satisfying. The master also seemed energetic, which was reassuring. I'll definitely go back to eat again.

On this day, I was planning to go to XX store, but it was closed for the day! So, I went to XX ba, but they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Then, I tried XX shi, but it was their day off. Finally, I decided to go to Haruyoshi, and I was lucky to get a spot at the counter at around 11:05. This place serves miso ramen. It only took about 10 minutes for my bowl to arrive, and it seemed like the portion had changed since my last visit. I was surprised by how much oil was in it, but the taste was still the same - delicious! More customers started coming in after me, and the place quickly filled up. It's definitely a popular spot. The prices are a bit high, with spicy dishes costing over a thousand yen, which is rare in Kitami. It had been a while since I had Haruyoshi's miso ramen, and it was still as tasty as I remembered. As I ate, I didn't even notice the oil. It was a great meal.

It's been a while since I last visited. After much deliberation, I decided to order the spicy miso ramen for the first time. My impression in one word: delicious! I'm glad I chose this. The spiciness doesn't overpower the miso, and they complement each other well. Towards the end, I crushed the ginger for a flavor change, which created a perfect combination of ginger and spiciness. As always, I love the taste of the bamboo shoots here. The vegetables are tasty, and the chashu is to my liking. The texture of the wood ear mushrooms provides a nice break between bites. Other customers were ordering different things like natto miso ramen and shrimp salt ramen. There were many older couples, and the place was bustling with locals. Despite the crowd, the young staff members were working hard to handle the orders, and in the kitchen, there was efficiency and teamwork in making the ramen. I could feel the heartfelt effort put into each dish by the staff from my seat at the counter. The counter chairs are comfortable to sit in, with a deep seat. The counter itself has plenty of depth, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back again!

I heard about a famous ramen shop in Kitami City and decided to visit. It was around 1 pm, but the shop was full so I had to wait on a bench. The staff were friendly and gave me the menu to order in advance. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I was seated at a table. The ramen arrived quickly. I had the spicy soy sauce ramen with a side of mini rice. The ramen was oily and had a strong flavor. I was expecting a lighter taste, but it was the opposite! It felt like a modern style ramen.

The restaurant is always crowded, so I had been avoiding it. When I checked, it had been a year and a half since my last visit. I aimed to arrive before 11:00 to line up, but I got lost and arrived at 11:05. There were several customers, but only three seats at the counter, so I was able to sit down quickly. I chose the miso ramen for 900 yen. The price was a bit high due to inflation. The ramen was served just over 10 minutes later. The soup seemed a bit oily at first, but the noodles were chewy and the vegetables were a nice touch. About halfway through, I grated the ginger on the chashu into the soup, which added a nice flavor. When I finished the noodles and drank the remaining soup, the oiliness I initially felt was gone, and it tasted delicious. I almost drank all of the soup (but held back). It was a delicious meal. Thank you. It had been a while. As I left, there were customers waiting outside the door. It was 11:30. I was glad I arrived early.

I used to visit ramen shops in the city frequently, but recently I've slowed down a lot. It's been about a year since I last visited this place. ^^ "Menya Haruyoshi" a little after 11 o'clock. I was able to park in the parking lot easily. Surprisingly, it's not very crowded. "Shrimp Salt Ramen" for 900 yen plus extra noodles for 100 yen. They've raised their prices here too. Well, it's delicious so I'll forgive them. (laughs) I've been busy lately and don't have time to write reviews. ^^; I post casually on Instagram. ^^

When you think of Kitami, you think of yakiniku, and when you think of yakiniku, you think of horumon! Haha. The Miso Horumon (1120 yen) is served, and just looking at it, you can tell it's spicy with its appearance! Avoiding the spicy parts, take a sip and it's a delicious miso soup with a rich oily flavor! The rich soup reminiscent of tsukemen soup is complex with various umami flavors dancing on your tongue! Mixing in the spicy parts... it's quite spicy. Unforgiving spiciness, haha. I wanted to add horumon, so I chose the spicy miso, but now I want to try the miso ramen without the spiciness. The curly noodles with a strong wheat flavor are chewy and bouncy, a classic miso ramen! The crunchy bean sprouts on top leave a strong impression! The energetic staff, stylish and clean cafe-like interior. A shop loved by the locals, that's the kind of place it is. :)

I wanted to eat curly egg noodles in Kitami, so I went to this shop. The Sapporo noodles were delicious and had a Sapporo-like taste. It was a bit crowded when I arrived, and even when I left, there was still a line, so I think it's popular. The miso flavor was delicious. It had a ginger topping, giving it a Jun Sumi-like feel. It seemed like a ramen shop that wouldn't disappoint.
