0 nights 2 days short trip ③ After enjoying wine and cheese, we passed through security. We decided to have lunch at the gate lounge instead of buying a boxed meal on the plane. I bought only onigiri. I chose the "Kiwami" seafood bowl. The elegance that can be seen from its appearance convinced me that it was suitable for the beginning of the journey. By the way, the gate lounge is like a food court inside the security area. Each store is not independent, which was surprising, but I was still looking forward to it. And then, something amazing arrived. It was much more generous than I expected. The presentation of the seafood bowl was different from what I imagined, with the rice displayed on a large plate instead of in a bowl. I tried it as recommended, and it was delicious. I am convinced that this seafood bowl served at the airport is one of the best. I couldn't help but admire the sincere service in this environment. I left the store without showing my inner feelings on my face. I boarded the plane. During the flight, there was a drink service, so I asked for hot tea. Of course, I also had the scallop rice ball, which was also excellent. This trip is sure to go well, and that's the feeling it left me with. It may sound cliché, but why don't you try it when leaving Hokkaido?

Uni and ikura, if you haven't tried them yet in Hokkaido, head to this place. Of course, uni and ikura. This uni was incredibly delicious. The sweetness of the uni combined with the saltiness of the brine was amazing. A little wasabi added even more flavor. The ikura was also delicious as expected. The slightly vinegared rice complemented it well. Soy sauce wasn't even necessary. I was able to fully enjoy my last meal in Hokkaido.

I entered the restaurant at 12:06 on a regular day, and left when it was 50% full at 12:18. I had 3 cans of delicious buffoon sea urchin for 1650 yen. This is cheap. I used to live in Rishiri for a short period, so I love Nonna and Ganzesushi. I enjoy the ingredients rather than the dishes themselves, and in that sense, it offers great value for money. Thank you for the feast, see you again next July.

This is a shop located in the food court inside the security inspection area on the JAL side of New Chitose Airport. They sell sea urchin and seafood at the storefront. I chose the 7 kinds of seafood bowl. The bowl was larger than the image in the photo, and the volume of seafood was more than I expected, which was good. The taste was also good, with fresh and delicious sea urchin, shrimp, salmon roe, scallops, etc. Despite the food court setting, the prices are high. However, the taste was good, making it worth the higher price.

A donburi specialty shop inside the gates of New Chitose Airport. The ultimate goal was to have uni (sea urchin) before the flight back! The islander recommended a shop that sells ingredients from Rebun Island, and I bought osechi for this year. It was so satisfying. Glad I could go. Before the flight, I compared different types of sea urchin. It's nice to be able to eat them after passing through security. The sea urchin comparison was delicious, and I also had a mini bowl with three colors. It had both Bafun and Murasaki sea urchin on top. Of course, the Bafun sea urchin was sweet and rich, but the Murasaki sea urchin was also surprisingly delicious. If you missed out on eating sea urchin in Hokkaido, I think this place is a good option.

In Sapporo, there aren't many opportunities to use travel support coupons in the city, so I used it at the airport for dinner. After passing through security, I found a food court and debated between trying Sapporo ramen or the Uni and Ikura half bowl, which I ended up choosing to use up the remaining coupon balance. With a beer included using a coupon from Tabelog, it was a good deal! The taste was great and I was quite satisfied. Next time, since the travel support will be over, I might go for ramen due to the price.笑

I was planning to have lunch at New Chitose Airport, so I did some research and completed the boarding procedures early before heading to "Shima no Hito" inside. I tried the recommended mini bowl of sea urchin and salmon roe. The fresh sea urchin and salmon roe, with the sweet taste of sea urchin that makes you feel glad you came to Hokkaido, will make you feel happy. It's a bit pricey, so women can enjoy it with the mini bowl. Soy sauce is provided, but I recommend enjoying the natural taste of the sea urchin without it, and adding it later if needed. The salmon roe already has flavor, so you don't need to add anything to it. The bowl of grated yam and kelp was also delicious with a gentle taste.

It was a luxurious bowl with each ingredient being incredibly fresh and tasty. The scallops were particularly delicious with a nice texture. It was a shame to rush through the meal, but I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy Hokkaido seafood until the very last moment before boarding their flight."

Passing through Hokkaido, I saved the best for last! It melted in my mouth and was delicious (,,•﹏•,,) Definitely worth the ¥5000! The fact that they don't use MSG is the best (*`ω´)b The salmon wrapped in kelp and the pickled tsubugai were perfect with alcohol! The waiting room after check-in was quiet with few people, so I could enjoy the food without waiting in line. ❤️

During a layover, I discovered a delicious-looking restaurant in the Hokkaido dining area. Despite being a high-end establishment, I decided to go in. I ordered a sea urchin and salmon roe rice bowl, which had increased in price from 3300 to 4000 yen due to the weak yen and high prices. I also decided to treat myself to a local beer. When the order arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bowl came with fish simmered in soy sauce and a soup. The taste was definitely in the top three of sea urchin and salmon roe bowls I have ever had. I highly recommend it to those transiting through New Chitose Airport!!

This is a review of my visit to the "Island People New Chitose Airport Gate Lounge Store" during a leisurely early morning stroll at New Chitose Airport. The store is located in the food court "Hokkaido Shokudo" surrounded by two other food establishments. The menu mainly consists of various seafood bowls, with prices similar to those at Nijo Market. I ordered the "Seasonal Uni and Kombu Dashi Ikura Donburi (regular) @3,300 yen" which was served in about 8 minutes. The uni from Rebun Island was slightly less flavorful compared to Bafun uni, but still delicious. The ikura marinated in kombu dashi was soft and paired well with the uni. Although the portion size may be small for adult men, I found it satisfying. Overall, I enjoyed the uni bowl and it left me content.

After passing through the gate at New Chitose Airport, there was a seafood bowl restaurant. Before passing through the gate, I had a sea urchin and salmon roe bowl at another restaurant, but I was still looking for something more satisfying. Then, I found another seafood bowl restaurant beyond the gate. They are known for their sea urchin without any additives. I ordered the seasonal sea urchin and salmon roe bowl (3300 yen), which came in a large bowl with a small portion of rice, sea urchin, and salmon roe. Both were rich and creamy without any fishy taste, exactly what I wanted to eat in Hokkaido. It was a small portion, but I felt very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. Now I can leave Hokkaido without any regrets.

A seafood restaurant at New Chitose Airport where you can enjoy fresh seafood. It is located inside the security check area, so you can relax until the last minute, which is nice. It is located in a corner like a food court called Hokkaido Shokudo, where multiple shops are gathered. It seems to be quite new and clean. It is located near the JAL gates, so it may be a bit far for ANA users. The purpose of this visit was to have sea urchin bowl and craft beer! This shop's main store is apparently on Rebun Island, where delicious seafood and original beer are made. You order at the counter and then find a seat. The type of sea urchin varies depending on the arrival status and season. On this day, it was "Bafun Uni Don" which had zero fishy smell and melts in your mouth! It was incredibly delicious!! To be able to enjoy such delicious sea urchin at the airport, truly Hokkaido is amazing. It may be a bit pricey for an airport and sea urchin, but it is definitely worth it. The beer we paired with was "Island People Beer" which is a refreshing pale ale with Rishiri kelp extract. It is fruity and refreshing. It can be a bit challenging to pair beer with sea urchin or seafood, but this combination was perfect. It doesn't taste like kelp, so it is easy to drink. We had it on draft at the restaurant, but also bought a few bottles as souvenirs! It was a completely satisfying trip to Hokkaido until the end. ♡

A seafood rice bowl restaurant inside Chitose Airport's restricted area. You can enjoy fresh sea urchin without using alum. This place is also your last chance to eat Hokkaido sea urchin before your flight. Depending on the season, the sea urchin bowl costs around 5,000 to 6,000 yen. I wanted to try both sea urchin and salmon roe, so I chose the sea urchin and salmon roe bowl. I also ordered a Sapporo Classic beer, and the total was less than 4,000 yen. It may seem expensive, but considering airport prices and the priceless experience of enjoying fresh sea urchin, it's worth it. I recommend this restaurant for sea urchin lovers. They also have a souvenir corner selling purple sea urchin and Ezo sea urchin from Rebun and Rishiri, so you can buy Hokkaido's seafood until right before your flight.

Selected 5 types of seafood bowls. I wanted to eat sea urchin so I chose this one. It's ¥2200, quite expensive. Maybe because it's at the airport. The salmon is large. The sea urchin is not smelly, truly Hokkaido. Departure in 50 minutes. Heading back to Haneda. Goodbye Hokkaido. I'll come back again.

After just finishing eating ramen, we ordered a bowl of fresh sea urchin rice bowl from Rebun Island as our last meal before departing from Hokkaido. Even though we were already full, it was just right for the two of us. Of course, we used disposable chopsticks. It reminded me of the time I visited Rishiri Island before the pandemic.
